YEA COP AND AEY ARE ONES FOR THE PATIENT ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON THEM,IM IN HDY,CAD,MXP,NRRP,SMALL IN GNG AND BUILDING A POSITION IN CAO READ LAST UPDATE LOOKS A STEAL,IM SITTING TIGHT HERE FOR LONG TERM, were you at logging in at 3am lol
Good to have you on board. Hold a few but ones of interest maybe Circle Oil (COP) and Antrim Energy (AEY). Circle is massively undervalued IMO and has recent broker targets of over double if you value that (I do in this case), already producing around 8500bopd, good cash, 100% drilling success, upcoming drills and one in Oman of particular interest. They are affected by problems in east and was a SP drop but soon II activity bought it back which tells allot. I also picked up a few more and believe this will not effect them long term and maybe be in their favour. Have mentioned Antrim before if you look back but to add they have recently done a placing for $45m, the exact purpose was not mentioned but already having a nice cash pot and with expected news on their north sea assets and deal with premier oil/Valiant I can hazard a guess. Going to be a huge year for them IMO, ISAble too which is nice. All IMO of course and both on AIM so with the money I can afford to lose :) How about you?
My first post on lse been following for 3years yes hoping for good things here sitting tight and feel an rns is due any day now,lot of holdings changing hands it will be interesting to see who,s bailed and who,s bought and any other news, lot of talk on takeovers with ukranian oilies would be good if vgas is on the radar, anyway goodluck all holders.what other stocks you in flirker
Interesting stuff.... maybe GPU sale gone/going though as last update indicated. Was unusually confident despite SP drop and enough to have another top up and from those chunky trades someone else was too. Were on the way up again and happy days ahead IMO.
Hi all and thanks for the friendly welcome when I posted before. Had a small top up this morning on the back of the rising futures and the fact that vgas closed its gap at 93p yesterday. Looks a bit stronger today and theres a golden cross just formed re the 50 & 100 day moving averages which was has been a positive indicator for vgas before and hopefully will be again this time. Wasn't their court case yesterday too?
Surprised by the drop with no news. Nothing changed here and and still more then happy with my holding. Nice unusual volume here recently so something occurring IMO. Betting on some news next week :) GLA don't let em have um.
Does anyone have an idea why the big drop yesterday, followed by today's fall? Can't see any RNS - any ideas?
Have bought in today. Trade did not appear on LSE so must have went through Plus. Been on my watchlist since last year went it went to £3 but had no funds available but consider this within 12 months to be no where near this price. I have researched and would like to think I am correct but this is AIM. Any thoughts in the near term?
If they want to fill an order then get the bugger near the 200p again and they can have some of mine. Great though, as people can now purchase at just 5p more then before the last rise and all that buying buying, good ay?
Taken a bit of a hit the last couple of days - I'm not seeing any trades to justify the drop so will be maintating position. Seems that they are shaking to possibly get some new ones. There have been a few multi-million pound buys here in recent weeks - a few sales of £20k - £50k isn't really justifying this drop, IMO. I agree that an order may be being filled. GL to all, particuarly those holding their nerve!
Good stuff, every little helps :) Should diversify a bit more myself really..... News here imminent, last RNS said 'the order against GND to pay GNS was rescinded and GNS (Volga) expects to move towards completion of the purchase of the 75% interest in the GPU" Its been over 2 months since so hopefully going/gone well. Don't want to dwell to much as we know it's not what it's all about, just another opportunity for a sweet rise. Loving the slight drop, following the trend and the trends my friend, they just got to drop that bid a bit and its top up time :) God speed
Nice one, and thanks for your link yesterday. Perhaps see some action leading up to the 21st. Gold is back on the tip list - crossed the 100day MA but had the customary dip just before! Making me a few quid, nothing too serious as you know, but it all helps! Good luck to you, and hope you have a good evening
LOL stick to oil :) another very wise buy is circle oil (COP) definitely worth a look! A double bubble mark my words. VGAS down today despite some chunky buys, down for that reason IMO. Certainly not complaining though. Forgot to mention there's a nice updated chart and comments on the ADVFN thread if people not seen it, very positive and so far spot on. Next stop 150p! GLA
You can remove gold from that list of "good tips" too by the way! spoke a bit too soon!
Lol! good work! I did check this morning too ;-) So is gold but I think may need to wait till about noon to break through the 100day MA... been some good tips on here recently - VGAS / AEY / PDX / Gold...
PDX moving up nicely :)
Just seen a comparison on the VGAS ADVFN thread of the four london listed russian oilies. Have seen it before on a UEN presentation and now a little out of date and a tad biased but still shows the value in VGAS. UEN is in a brighter light but have done my research there before investing here and still happy with my decision. GLA
Good to see your still here too! I feel this should rise on fundamentals alone but along with a general update the news I'm waiting on is the registration of the GPU sale to volga, then I think it will be the appropriate time to release the results of two successful VM wells, found this link with details of another court hearing on 21/02, don't know is still valid after the last update though http://www.prime-tass.com/news/calendar/_Russian_calendar_Key_events_for_January_19/-103/%7BE58206A1-78E5-419B-A7B2-9F6B46013471%7D.uif. It appears ever since acquiring the licence and struck oil/gas someone has tried to make it difficult - funny that...., but from the recent court ruling it looks like good will prevail. See the whole debacle as a very likely bonus though because don't think its factored in on the current SP at all. Then the spud of Urozhainoye-2 to test the Bobrikovsly horizon which is productive in the nearby fields. Also said they are "examining further opportunities to expand our business." so may be putting some of that cash to good use. So lots to drive this further if its needed IMO. PPVN Glad you liked AEY, it looks like a low risk no brainer to me so just wanted to share some goodness, not like its worth ramping on this board really :) One downside is it always has a massive spread and difficult to trade in quantity, the SP movement today is a prime example! But being already in I think its a good thing- bit like VGAS at times.
Hmm, PDX eh... Well to be honest with you I know absolutely nothing about biofuels... so i'm not really too clued up on that to be honest! From the director buys, could be a good one, but then again its taken a bit of a battering recently and there could be some looking to jump ship. Without doing some more reading about that, I'm not really able to give an opinion i'm afraid, but director buys are usually quite a good thing, as is Blackrock's increased stake - they don't buy for the short term. Personally I'm actually opening exposure to some gold longs again; think that there could be some coming mileage in it so looking for a few quid on those hopefully. Always cheap to open and guaranteed stops. Would like to see a trade above say $1360 and then i'll look to open a bit more aggressively long. At the moment only on just under £30 / point (one at 1337 and another just in at 1352), so not a huge exposure yet...
Just wondering ... what do you think of PDX as a one month spreadbet opportunity ?
Well nice to see everyone is still about, and a new face on the board! welcome! Seems to be going very nicely, few steps up, but still no news. What do we think will drive this? I'm thinking a resolution to legals might be close? I think my initial target of 140p will be rethought to be honest, when it gets to that level i'll have a review but for the moment I certainly think I shall maintain my position here. Flirker; I had a brief look at AEY and without going into too much detail on that, certainly looks like a very sound investment. Like I say, it was only a brief look about their website and some of the more recent RNS', but sure looks like the strategy is sound, though I think they could be a steady performer rather than explosive revaluation (unless a farmout partner is acquired in which case I shall eat my words!). I'm hoping to purchase some more physical shares in some different stocks soon for a long term view, and depending on the level its at, would settle for some of those at the moment. Should have some funds before too long and I'll post on the board if and when I dip in!
Jumped in for a few today too, my first purchase unfortunately but happy to be holding at last. ATB to the lth's
Flirkers still a lurker, and will be until at least 200p, topping up all the way and regreting not doing it sooner every time. The more I research the more I like here so we will see...... God speed.
Sure am. I only bought in on thursday but already close to 20% profit. Would be a lot more if I had spreadbet it LOL
Good movement today, long may it continue! You still about Flirker / ihavenoclue?
