strange day.....mms' playing games earlier
5% UP then to near 10% DOWN....Now back to near 1% UP again...... The RNS was a mixture of good and not so good. But there's no debt here and loads of potential still to be realised. Check out earlier news releases. Loads of good news. Cant believe there's such little interest here. Chack out the chart and news. It all looks pretty good to me. NP
Cant beleive there's such little interest in this, given the news releases over the last few months. Debt free and bags of potential
The best share I have as its day after day of steady rises
"We are very satisfied with the progress to date of drilling our first sub-salt exploration well, which is an important well for the Company. We look forward to providing updates on progress of this well as and when appropriate" They are below their first target, which was at 3,700 m, and I read "very satisfied" as a positive statement. Their main target is at 5,400 m for gas and condensate. http://proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/9443/fox-davies-capital-newsflash-including-rockhopper-volga-bpc-aurelian-cove-churchill-mining-and-african-aura-9443.html
Mon, 26th Oct 2009 07:27 LONDON, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Volga Gas Plc: * Grafovskaya 1 well is progressing ahead of drilling schedule * Has reached a vertical depth of 3,950 meters after 54 days of drilling
I never give price predictions, because its not in line with the way I trade. I do research then decide whether I think news will make it rise or fall, then stay with the share until I have had enough. For me if the expected RNS is bad it will make the sp fall a bit, but if the RNS is good then it should rise handsomly. To put this in a little bit of perspective without the GF-1 deep well, all its current production gives fair value at roughly 200p. In other words if the news is bad and it retraces I would see the medium term price getting back to this value.
will this reach £4,5 or £6 when the next rns comes out. seriously need to make some cash that ive lost. thanks.
Had a brain fart. RNS window started last Friday, even better. Up to 21 days for results hopefully.
DJ news release on 16th September. Important part :- Volga Chief Financial Officer Tony Alves told Dow Jones Newswires Volga expects to be able to report results from drilling at the sub-salt well Grafovskaya-1 on the Yuzhny Ershovskoye prospect in Russia between 30 and 60 days from now. LONDON (Dow Jones)--Russia-focused oil and gas company Volga Gas PLC (VGAS.LN) Wednesday said it expects results from a major appraisal well within 60 days, as it reported a narrower first-half loss. Volga Chief Financial Officer Tony Alves told Dow Jones Newswires Volga expects to be able to report results from drilling at the sub-salt well Grafovskaya-1 on the Yuzhny Ershovskoye prospect in Russia between 30 and 60 days from now. Grafovskaya has been estimated to contain recoverable resources of 1.48 trillion cubic feet of gas and 48.4 million barrels of condensate, Volga said. Success there would transform the company, Volga said. Average production in 2009 is expected to be 1,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day, Volga said, up from the 1,000 barrels average reported during the first half of the year. The company, which raised $27 million in July, said its net loss for the six months to June 30 narrowed to $633,000 from $5 million a year earlier. Revenue increased to $3.37 million from $112,000, following a sharp rise in production and rising prices for oil. At 0802 GMT, shares in Volga were up 9.5 pence, or 5.5%, at 183 pence, outperforming a 0.6% higher Alt
Err I think one of us is in error. as I have from16th September, but willing to be corrected.
30 days is this Friday, so we are into the RNS window !!!!
Indeed, and a good solutions for the Russians, as the Ukrainians will not be able to hold them to ransom so easily. Terrible news for us European consumers lol! Again the bigger buys coming in ...... some people in the know before RNS? (pure speculation)
With the Russians agreeing to supply China with gas and this being close to the Chinese border its a win/win.
find todays series of buys rather interesting? A 13K, a 61K and a 43K and the sp gradually rising .... nice But then again talking to myself for so long on this share BB ......

LLD....I hope you understand?
Hi there. t11omas may be maryc cos she/he almost always stops posting as soon as the market closes. The same pattern might therefore follow with t11omas. We shall see!
SP showing good movement. What's cooking ?
That was an sharp tick up on 1 buy .... to 211, interesting times.
Cheers NP, it was the last RNS that finally swung it. Had a rollercoaster with SBE after I bought in at 43p. Cost me a few hairs and a few years but I think I am ready for another Russian. ;-)
Take a look at the recent RNS or two from this lot. I think you'll like what you read
What you lose in BB quality, you will gain in SP. ;-). Forgot all about this beauty since I spotted it at 75p. Finally took the plunge at 210p. Interesting SP fluctuations on small trades, I like shares with a small freefloat.
Bugger......... :-)
