LEK a great investment for sure but Afren at it's knock down price is a better to reap the Ogo rewards at the moment.

Decided to take a back seat yesterday after the shannannagins over at Afren. Probably totally unrelated but the fact ministerial approval is still yet to be obtained has been worrying me. A shame to be out but will be straight back in and don't mind if it means paying more.....

Some actual trades today lol I love these little companies with few shares in circulation. Makes one hell of a a roller coaster! Really looking forward to the Catalina 1 results. Not expecting anything huge but believe a successful result is going to be pivotal in unlocking GED's reserves.

Do you have any clue on how much offshore drilling costs? They were drilling OGO 1 & ST for over 6 months! . No real shocker unless a little clueless.... A pretty good investment when you think how much they could flog this asset for after the next appraisal. I'm a little concerned we don't have ministerial consent yet but hope it's just a formality...

Good times here, we should be touching year highs soon. It will be flying way higher with seismic results and another drill on OPL310 and OPL113 later this year! Throw in one of shell onshore blocks which were bidding on and it's bagging time. What a beauty :)

A cool £1m trade yesterday. Would not surprise me if LEK is buddied up with one of these big boys. A slice of one of the shell Nigerian licences would go down a treat! Seismic survey Panoro also announced that the Joint Venture partners in the OML 113 license are about to begin a new 3D seismic survey over the OML 113 license offshore Nigeria. The survey is being carried out by Polarcus as a part of joint acquisition program in combination with the neighboring block OPL 310 to the east, where significant discoveries were made in 2013. First Hydrocarbon Nigeria Ltd (a Joint Venture Partner on the OML 113 license) will, through their parent company Afren, manage the seismic acquisition operations and subsequent processing and interpretation of the seismic data. The Aje field and many of the leads in OML 113 are already covered by a 3D seismic survey acquired in 1997, however it is expected that the new survey will provide a considerable improvement in data quality over the existing 3D data. It is envisaged that the data will enable better development planning for the second phase of development drilling on Aje and provide improved data to fully evaluate the exploration potential over the whole of the OML 113 license, including the exciting synrift exploration play that was significantly de-risked though the discovery made in OPL 310. The survey is expected to be completed by end of May 2014.

The oil theft and security issues vary through different areas in the Niger Delta, which is the size of Scotland, Olalekan Akinyanmi, Chief Executive Officer at Lekoil Ltd., said in phone interview. hopefully get a little news from Afren tomorrow to help with push. Rumour has it their results may not be so great so some ogo news may sweeten it up ;-) may swap some lek for Afren if they continue to fall.

Possibly but not sure why they would sell a stake before appraising. We have seen indications that this could have major upside so not sure why they would sell just yet. With this in mind could they really afford a stake in a decent producing asset without putting this in jeopardy ? I'm not waiting for news because as we have seen the share price will continue to increase as the scale of this discovery is appreciated, hopefully...... :) The BOD are doing a blinder of a job so far so sure they will call it right.

It may be a while so you may want to move on if this is what your waiting for. We have a massive discovery though with more potential so I'm happy with that news alone.

I hear the Volovants were exceptional! Think we will be testing new highs soon.
