looking very good
50P May be incoming today
Velocity Composites plc (AIM: VEL), the leading supplier of composite material kits to aerospace and other high-performance manufacturers, is delighted to announce the successful manufacture of the first composite production kits from its new advanced manufacturing facility in Alabama, US.
The manufacture of the first production kits is a major milestone at the site which was built to support the five-year Work Package Agreement that was announced in December 2022 with GKN Aerospace in the United States (the "Customer"). The agreement is expected to be worth in excess of US$100 million in revenue over five years, with the Customer confirming strong end user demand for its parts into 2024.
big numbers ££££ :)
Tiny float once over 40, could end up where after that
looking to add, some decent buying so far
should build up from here now, the news is £££ for the co - much awaited and needed.
Impressive, this will retrace to 100p
today should see 50p+
don't let go now, or too soon.
Read the RNS, its big
It is reassuring to see them delivering targets on time; it is not uncommon to have early stage implementation glitches, so either they have avoided them or managed them well.
It all goes to build confidence for the relationship with GKN and also any potential future customers who are looking to use their service.
Given the pipeline of work the already have in place, at 34p it has now become cheap, so hopefully we will see a deserved rerate.
Impressive news. I increased at 34p recently, which I doubt will be the SP much longer.
Nice to see a little rise today and some nice round numbers going through too. Hopefully news on other US contract wins due soon
Correction... maybe a little more than 2 hours apart but still close when it comes to driving distances in America. Has anyone else here any views on who the next contract could potentially be with and how a contract with certain companies would be received?
When the new US contract lands, this will rise sharply again, hopefully in the next few weeks, once terms have been agreed.
The most recent presentation was very interesting, one of the slides had a list of the tier 1 companies on, including bae systems, GKN and Qarbon, to name a few. Interesting to look at companies who have facilities near to Velocities' new facility in Alabama, for example Qarbon are only a couple of hours drive away which would be ideal for transportation purposes. I wonder what the possibilities of Velocity entering into an agreement with another major player is and what effect another multi-million dollar contract would have on the share price. Hopefully we will find out soon enough
Plenty of work in the pipeline-
'Air India Ltd. announced a 470-plane order with Airbus SE and Boeing Co.'
Big sell at the end of the day was worked through all day hence the drop. At least it is now clear, which should now see a nice steady rise into contract news. Hold for the major contract coming and the steady rise following. This is majorly undervalued
And another huge US order due imminently in my opinion... and expansion of the new facility in the US. Once word is out on this it will be well north of £1
Amazing how the SP has gone. Still on the rise again. back to 60p in no time.
Up we go again ant this time without resistance See you all at £1 shortly
Mist
I cant see a 447k trade for yesterday?

For those who missed the investor presentation yesterday, it is now available via the Investor Meet Company platform and YouTube (link above).
The presentation gets very interesting around the 31.30 minute mark with a comment around other large contracts (at the same size as the current US contract) and a large pipeline of opportunities that the company are currently working through.
Just sent an order in for another 34,000 shares
This is a £2 share all day long
Very professional and positive presentation from the board. The company look forward to hopefully announcing significant additional contracts in the US with a 'similar size to the recent GKN contract'
Just bought £10k
No brainer
'In our view, this opportunity supports significant upside potential for Velocity Composites
shareholders and we maintain a BUY rating with our fair value increased to 68-101p (previously
55-101p)'
Recovered very well. Nearly back level. Watch this space for major new contract news imo
