Is it time to vote AP and CH off the board come October or keep them on?
Kingsley ‘ Is it time to vote AP and CH off the board come October or keep them on?’
Well all these ‘non holders’ here were discussing exactly this not so long ago :-)))
AP will hit the market soon with a killer RNS that will change things once and for all around here, Glad to see sentiment returning as the company enters this new era
Yes Ant 1mln, my buys have been posted here mostly before they showed up, exciting times ahoy, woo hoo,
Firwood: "my buys have been posted here mostly before they showed up".
That's not my memory. You've talked about your position a few times but I don't recall seeing posts about your trades in advance of printing.
Waiting patiently for news. Holding up, average down. GL
Sandy , that’s a coincidence, was thinking similar things
Firwood used to have the odd post of ‘added 20k today’ and the like but always after the event, never before a trade might appear on the ticker, so, in reality no different to those who claim to have ‘topped up’ on many a bb
Appropriate really- similar to the hot air from our glorious leader- words but rarely consequential actions
OK just to test this i'll buy 55k
Time stamp 10-09-46
Took sis seconds to appear on ADVFN.
Good thing i wanted some more!!
After all it is now very near the last call for this flight. IMO.
GLHs
I too thought the same. No doubt we’ll be accused of being some type of cabal, when only pointing out more tripe from Firwood.
Unless, Firwood, you can point us to one of those posts?
Kill a company and its shareprice RNSs are APs forte. Its time for him and CH to move on
6.835p offered. Masking buys as sells. Hopefully news soon and we can move away from the realms of the last placing price. We went from 9p to 13p on bliming PREM having some good news ffs
Kingsley16 I could not agree more.
Fantasy at what point are you thinking of trying to muster support for this. I seem to remember you voicing something along these lines a fair while back. Pinocchio Prelea needs to be voted out at the AGM coming up otherwise LTH are f*****
Apathy from PIs will allow Pinocchio to continue to decimate the SP chasing unicorns. Anyone interested should join the telegram group and see the results of an opinion poll on whether AP should be voted out, he is not popular but not enough to get him out.
For the sake of balance, those who think AP should be re-elected for another three years, tick up this post
Antharry, Some buys are showing as sells, again.
What a nonsense, ‘non holders’ voting to get AP out, …..you couldn’t make this ****e up…… Just more FUD spreading from the usual suspects who’s current id’s will be gone in a flash shortly…
AP has done a sterling job getting BP to where it is today, and on a shoestring too…. It will be all hail AP around here soon
Remind me again just how big AP’s holding is here, massive skin in the game, Which is every reason to get this bang on and burn the shorters to hell as he hits the market with a MASSIVE multi bagger RNS
It’s coming, and it’s just around the corner and I’m fully loaded in preparation……
Interesting vote. Suggests that Vast would be more attractive to punters if the CEO changed. But buyers in the secondary market do not bring cash to the company, so the opinions of secondary market punters will not directly matter.
On the other hand, secondary market dislike could be a proxy of sorts for the views of potential new equity purchasers. Vast, in all likelihood, will need further investment for other projects: they try to talk about JVs and IIs etc, but they've been doing that for years and it never happens. So a resounding thumbs down from the secondary market could equate to difficulty in finding new placement investors. From that point of view, the fact that the recent placing apparently (interview comment) was mainly existing LTHers might not be such a good thing: although it suggests loyalty on the one hand, it also suggests no new pool of believers, on the other hand.
As for Firwood, good luck. But over the years, I've seen people shout about the massive inbound RNS many times. It never arrives. You just get more incrementalism. Then the shouters fade away, nursing their grief.
I have always thought Vast is very interesting. I remain very interested in the uptick at BPPM. But as I've made clear, I now worry about Ghaghoo. I find this frustrating.
RR ‘ Firwood: Out of curiosity, do you consider everyone that votes Mr Prelea out to be a non-holder?’
Well buddy, most of the posters who spend all day here and would volte AP out say they do not hold,
It’s odd I know chum, highly knowledgeable traders spending all day on a share bb they would not buy as opposed to using all that superior intellect to make money elsewhere….
Take yourself, talk like you’ve been around for years but in reality just another brand new ID created to aid the bashing…..
Sore losers who went in too heavy too early…..
Firwood: "highly knowledgeable traders spending all day on a share bb they would not buy".
I think obviously likely that some would buy in the right circumstances and are using a discussion board to discuss the circumstances.
No?
Firwood: I think that's your misunderstanding.
Speaking for myself, the answer is "yes". And I can see many comments arising on this BB that suggest to me that people acknowledge that the Romanian assets have potential but don't like the company leadership, historic PR BS and ongoing failure to get proper finance.
Sing all you like about a "sterling job" and a massive RNS, but the reality is that you are the one who is badly timed, now shouting from the rooftops. Your warble is lost in the wind.
The hard-nosed will win by timing it right.
eric: yes. I came to Romania in 2015, got interested in AIM in 2016, and found Vast by a confluence of those two facts. I follow other AIM shares (small handful) but this is the only one I care to post about.
I first met Andrew in H2 2016, in Bucharest. We were near neighbours and shopped locally. And as I could not get to the London AGMs, he was kind enough to fill me in on some public domain issues that I would have asked about in meetings.
Andrew is a human being. He is not perfect. But he is not wicked. If he can deliver BPPM and - more fundamentally - Group profitability, then he should get credit for that and Vast will have moved from a junior, likely to be gobbled or go to the wall, to being a player in its own right.
I've been a supporter, a detractor, and always tried to be balanced based on the facts as I see them. I've therefore been labelled with every label, and don't mind.
Vast has a lot of potential. But it needs delivery and focus. That has never changed.
IMO.
I've kept an eye on Vast for some time. With the substantial drop in SP I thought it was a good time to invest a few months ago as copper play. I am in no doubt long term the price of copper will stay at these levels or increase and therefore BP looked like a good investment with other mines in Romania in the portfolio.
Over the past few months/years it looks like BoD are trying to put their fingers in lots of pies rather than being hands on and understanding how to make one!
Even so they look like they have had some success at BP with price of copper and mine reworked turnaround. It's now about future figures and reserves.
On their new venture I hope they have more success here than previous operators as otherwise this will be a drain on income coming from BP. Even so I think BP should generate significant cash flow and if they are able to turn this around could be a seriously good investment long term.
Just my view on current position of Vast.
