Just goes to show 4 out of 6 interested parties don't believe then. Great advert for Saltfleetby and Angus. Makes you wonder why Xodus can't give Loxley a CPR given the amount they have been paid for the reports even though Arreton beat it into 2nd place for mmboe Contingent Resources.
The very best to you Ninetails
Same here in KDR past ten years and i get frustration and the hassle of seeing a loss.
Not here to ramp or short ,but way i see it UK needs a continuous supply of home grown energy now and for next 15/20 years along side green.
We are out of Europe , so bang goes that deal on group buying
Norway USA , Africa isn't it in every British tax payer interest to receive Uk home grown energy ??
Got to be cheaper and avoid angry mobs of people paying up to triple costs for homes ,business ? energy ..
Fair enough Stevehoops you have made the upsides post’s as you see it, we all have our opinions and hopes and views, I wish you all the best with your new investment, maybe I am just cynical after being invested and continually investing here for over 5 years…
Earlier this year, Angus had 5/6 parties showing interest in a part or whole of their Saltfleetby gas project (or, indeed, for the whole of the company).
2 of those parties remain actively interested in Saltfleetby at the present time.
If UKOG wins its appeal, Loxley will be nowhere near the same stage of development as Saltfleetby, but it would be an asset likely to generate interest from other parties.
Speculative and second guessing is the joys of share dealing .

"Several major UK fossil fuel projects have been approved since Cop26 concluded, an analysis has found, while about 50 schemes are thought to be in the pipeline between now and 2025."
And that's just the ones the Guardian know about.
Given the Retention Areas Agreed (Updated October 2020) 2014 Model Clauses said "drill a Kimmeridge limestone appraisal well of Horse Hill 1 by 30 September 2020" it does make one wonder why UKOG insist on drilling HH-3 into the Portland first as they have already appraised that.
Your guess as good as mine
The UK Government might just have woken up to our energy industry supplies being held to ransom from the likes of Russia and all other country's .Could uk now focus working with Major to utilize every inch of energy within the uk
Until the likes of nuclear power stations and the green power is ready to fill all our needs ,(still some way off yet )
Legalease - with a leading question:-
'What do we think a positive outcome re Loxley we hold fo to our share price?'
Ocelot with an answer out of the SS book of 'expectations':-
'Dare one use the word "transformative"?'
Of course you can, as the assumption is 'success' and it's a word that UKOG use that avoids having to give an indication of what's expected in terms of flow rates or anything particularly useful to assess the true value of this and other appraisals. But GIIP times an industry norm recovery without an objective view of risk in a 'study' is not informative but useful to feed the unquestioning.
But there's cash to be raised to drill as the current $2mm revenues I've seen quoted are currently swallowed up by company and HH OPEX costs and would anyway require years to pay for Loxley even without those costs.
A farm in is possible but that will produce a different kind of dilution - equity in the licence, not a worry with a dry hole (cf. Basur-3), though more likely another AIM oiler looking for an opportunity to raise to drill (and pay the salaries).
Why would a major oil and gas company be interested in what ukog have to offer, the major oil and gas companies have been held back as much if not more by the green agenda, if as you rightly say things will get fast tracked, and major oil and gas companies can move forward again, they have many, many projects on hold with many, many new ones in the pipeline, with men and resources just waiting to be mobilised, and just as a side note if the Loxley appeal is successful when would we expect first Gas?
Well as i see it UKOG could become a target on majors shopping list.
Either a Jv as CGNR as demonstrated (GOLD IN IRELAND 40% MAJOR PAYS ALL TEST DRILLING AND PAYS 1 MILLION UPFRONT ,6,MIL FOR DRILL COAST CGNR WILL NEED TO FUND 40% AFTER TO MINE OR OPT TO 25% FREE RIDE )with Demir Exports (Turkish major company)
Or simply sold off .
If none above ,UKOG WILL SIMPLY MISS THE BOAT
Stevehoops… As a new investor in ukog you are doing an excellent job in highlighting the fact that Britain needs to be more energy secure, and indeed make more use of homegrown resources, and as you rightly say the red tape will be slackened, and I am quietly confident that ukog will win the Loxley, appeal, and this in turn will create a spike in the sp (? Time to get out) and a lot of excitement, but what then ? Where is the money coming from to finance those new projects ? From 60bopd at the Gatwick Gusher? Or more shareholder dilution? As I have said you make an excellent reference to all the encouraging positive possibilities, how do you feel about maybe doing as much research and highlighting what could happen after the red tape has been lifted and the appeal won and how ukog will finance further projects, or will you be long gone by then?
I can certainly see it spiking to circa 1p and settling down at maybe .5 to .75: on a successful outcome, obvs if HH water re injection is thrown into the mix anything could happen!
"Are you trying to goad Adrian / Gideons / Makeupanothername into creating a new account? "
he needs no goading
Either he's off to the pub or sitting fuming at home pondering his next more:-
a) reactivate another account, post sensibly and slowly for a while and build up time before unmasking himself again (the Gideon's Play)
or
b) Come ion here in full ramptastic mode covering the board with guff and hoping the Mods have taken Sunday off
Normally it's b) but it depends on the state of his medication - the Mods let him run for quite a while as "gideons" as long as he kept it under control (eg not as crazy as HH1&2 or InvestorInvestor etc)
FOURTEENTH ROUND was the last onshore - sorry missed a key when typing
Ibug,
Are you trying to goad Adrian / Gideons / Makeupanothername into creating a new account? Some might say it amounts to bullying Admin as they now have to work from home at the weekends deleting accounts that abuse their rules?
I can just see the "transformational" spike followed by a placing and howls of anger when left high and dry like many are on here already. It is a slow death after the initial cliff edge drop that makes it worse.
correction left my glasses off

"When was the last one? Wasn't it when we got the IOW 8 years ago?"
Yes -1th Round
I believe the OGA position has been that so few of the commitments undertaken in that round have been met that its pointless licensing new acreage - it would just mean more unachievable promises by the small oilers
I remember buying 88e @ 00.0026 and with in 2 weeks on ice wine news was .0002.6p
No chance here before Ukraine war, But the world changes and so does UKOG assets worth if positive outcome .
Dare one use the word "transformative"?
Could be, both for SS (sticking to his guns through thick and thin) and for UKOG, providing it with a potentially very valuable asset for long-term development.
What do we think a positive outcome re Loxley we hold fo to our share price?
Agreed, the World has changed. Food and energy security now right at the top of the political agenda.
Bigger picture, all cards on table is the point being made ,No one project will be announced until agreed and under written . Case by case ?
Horse Hill has to be considered and recent company release suggest just that. But having said that ,most objections in past history , Tread carefully comes to mind without stirring up a hornets nest.
There months ago apart FROM P&D ,barge pole UKOG. Things have dramatically changed in past 3 months
Uk will need all of its proven sites for the next 20 years TO run along green energy or until foil fuels fades out.
/?
“In just six months the UK has gone from touting itself as a climate leader to championing fossil fuels, the very thing that is driving the climate emergency,” said Tessa Khan, director of Uplift.
“It beggars belief. Expanding North Sea oil and gas means the UK – which still holds the Cop presidency – is now a dangerous climate wrecker.”
Government policy is a function of what the pollsters are reporting. If they report people are more concerned by the energy and cost-of-living crisis than by climate change, government policy changes
No mention of an onshore licensing round, agreed, but onshore is mentioned here:
Meanwhile, a number of outstanding decisions on major new projects onshore and offshore are expected over the coming months. The west Cumbria coalmine and Jackdaw gas field applications are widely viewed as crucial tests signalling Whitehall’s direction of travel on new fossil fuel developments in view of its Cop26 pledges, with campaigners warning that a rush of new applications and licence approvals could be triggered if either goes ahead.
