Are they doing the same for shareholders
I see it applies to everyone earning up to 70k not sure people on 50k or above should need it. With the increased dividend you would need over 210,000 shares to get an extra 1K
Unfortunately with this cost of living crisis we are all going to have to take a cut in their living standards for a while

Taylor Wimpey staff to get £1,000 towards fuel bills
just got back what we have lost yesterday, nice
Be great to see this get pass the £1.30 mark but last 20 mins there has been some big sells gone in, It amazes me who is selling after that update, so much to come here.
Excellent results. Looks like I picked the right house builder! Hopefully we’ll see a recovery from here. GLA.
Great results, brilliant buy next year under a quid...
little bit better than yesterday so far
Strong update but was hoping for a buyback or special before 2023 to help support the undervalued share price...
Excellent results as you say Littleaston, full year earnings now expected to be towards the top end of expectations and a nice uplift to the divi. Let's see how the market responds, and how the other HB's react too.
I hope it does Taverham, I really do!
Could not have asked for better. Smashing set of results. Excellent
Excellent results divi up 12% confident outlook sp should rise around 5% today imv.
It is hard to say where the share price will be in 6 months to a year. On the plus side, TW is cheap and offers a very good return at this price via the dividend.
On the negative side, spiralling costs of materials and also wages will hit the bottom line.
While there is a shortage of houses within the country, rising interest rates and a recession will bring the housing market down, as it has always done in the past.
While the results due out later today may be good, I fear there will a dampening of spirits with a cautious out look.
Happy to hold but I only have a very small holding here. If a recession hits as hard as some predict could this drop another 50%, or would there still be enough demand to shrug it off? One thing for sure is if this continues it’s decent it would become an absolute bargain.
Too much cheap cash since 2012.
Not a sustainable system, pump & dump.
Repeat.
i am looking for better day tomorrow
Bought back half at 120.6 in the end, will buy the rest back tomorrow if the sp falls again.
Nationwide data showing price RISES slowed in July from June has hit market sentiment. I'm tempted to repurchase shares I sold for 129 recently in expectation of good half-year results from TW tomorrow. When the market takes against though it can flash red numbers regardless of results.
However, more BUY orders than SELL orders.
Back down to early teens, something got to give wages can't sustain growth
Yes correct, results for half year tomorrow. if you look on this LSE site, they have it as today.

Hi Bighammer
Thanks for that it is good out there at the moment and long may it continue!
All the best Ben
Morning Ben , ditto here in the same area . Never known it this busy in 40 years and having spoken to other trades and contractors they are in agreement. There are sites starting up all over the place nut manning them is impossible to meet the figures required , the bad thing is TW reluctant to offer price increases compared to other companies atm . I have heard Persimmon on some sites offering £100 per day over the weekend.
