We had a massive rally all year expecting this result & its classic case of buy the rumour and sell the fact. Add in an expensive acqustion and buybacks reduced , there was probably a feeling maybe we hit the top and take profits...

This update shows the real effect of the punishing budget speculation on consumer confidence and crazily late budget near end of November...which is why I was worried about card factory. Just have to hope there is a late rush now to try and get us to 60m profit at the top of the new range

Its not looking good, on my calcs we are sliding towards a P/E ratio of only 7 times based on the new higher profits, so market has taken this update as a profit warning....

We need a takeover approach to solve the chronic low share price..

I topped up at 4.70..
