As all we longstanding T!Ts countdown the hours to delisting and I clear out my TSTR folder, I thought it might be interesting to hear the selling points made at a presentation at the Novotel Tower Bridge around 7-8 years ago. The main bullet points, taken down in my own fair hand, were:
- China is responsible 90% of the world's production
- Antimony is used in Flame ******ants and Batteries
- The market has a current growth rate of 3-6% per annum
- It is 300x more scarce than Copper
- It traded at a 'low' of $10,000 per tonne in the early 2000's but is now $13,000 and rising
- There is a deficit of 50/55,000 tonnes forecast over the next three years (so that would have been by 2016)
- We will become THE alternative processor to China
- The UAE is tax free and has good infrastructure
- The Roaster will cost $60m (stop laughing at the back please!)
- Of the 20,000 tonnes we aim to process per year, half will come from TSTR owned or controlled mines
- China had just taken an extra 7-8000 tonnes of Antimony ingots for internal use the week before and therefore reduced the world's production by 10% that week
- Japan needs to be independent of Chinese imports of Antimony within 3 years (so, again, 2016!)
- Electrical Cell in batteries is a HUGE new use of Antimony ....& finally, my favourite....
- We expect 9 months construction and then 3 months commissioning for the Roaster!!!
Bear in mind, this was all given as an Investor Presentation case around 7 years ago.
For the avoidance of doubt, I will remain with my shares tucked away but want to extend a warm heartfelt thanks to Wassatt (the original creator of the Morning T!Ts greeting), SHD, Krispy and all the posters that I have enjoyed over the last 8 years. I wish you and all the PI's still on this train the very best of luck and I hope we do arrive at Liquidity Station one day. For the last time on TSTR, I will say....GLA!!!
This is still delisting isn’t it?
SPMP is expecting to receive initial revenues from the sale of products produced in the commissioning phase during the next quarter with its first significant revenues expected to arise in the final quarter of the year as production is ramped up. = NOW
Just topped up also another 77k.

I'm in with another £1K...bringing my avg SP down
I’m surprised we haven’t had any TR1’s for investors holding over 3% this would only be a £60k investment to get a notification.
If you looks at the breakdowns he's selling the smaller funds, which must not be allowed to hold unlisted shares... However that means he still has 12M to dump by Wednesday, so the SP won't be going anywhere....
*Interestingly if he's forced to go below 50% then he will no longer control the company*
I assume Odey is selling to PIs like us!
He dropped by just over 5% on Friday... Clearly that's the 5M large trade we saw, as expected...
What I want to know is what the 1.25M trade at 2.6p was on Friday...
Who is Odey selling to??
Family/friends/vehicles/companies he has interests in?
Feel like Sherlock Holmes trying to figure out what’s going on, one thing is for sure.. I’d rather be in then out.
We all know Odey is playing some kind of game as he always does.. keeping above 50% for obvious reasons yet attempting to make the market believe his exiting TSTR to bring the share price down to scare of any new investors.
Is it Thursday yet.
ODEY at 60%.. I’d prefer it if he was out completely let someone else buy us out.
Every time it drops, it needs a 100% gain to get back to where it was a week ago. Glad I was out at 5p.
Haso..
I would imagine the annual dividend payment to be 2-4p as the value of the share IMO is 30-40p
Deal looks like it was odey and the directors who were to be hit with a 40 to 16 % drop and loss of jobs agreeing to transfer shares .ODEY selling and directors picking them up as compensation. There will be an event going forward that will make those director shares valuable enough to compensate. The roaster will be at 100% in a short time frame .The funding was likely dependent on the deal being agreed.
What is the possible dividend for every £1000 invested here at 2p... Any ideas?
NT for £400
I’d almost prefer to not be on AIM anyway I don’t trust the market makers at all.
Why anyone would sell this share at these levels baffles me.
for the brave... GL DYOR
Just bought another 100,000 @ 1.8. They were the only shares available at that price.
Aha thank you, I obviously do know this is a high risk share as no one really can work out what the hell is going on 100% I’ve accepted the fact the money I’ve risked is at high risk and we don’t really know Odeys full intentions of what could be played however at these levels and the possible ‘fairly likely’ upside could also happen.
I guess if you don’t want high risk/reward you don’t invest in AIM/private companies anyway.
I wish all Investors the best of luck also.
Lol Tradehobbs you can word it anyway you want, but, it is what it is. And I wish you luck. But for me personally, right now I see just as much opportunity right now on fste 100, but with less risk, and easier escape roots if needed
So hopefully looking to make up my losses from this one else where
I said if it wasn’t delisting we would be worth 12-16p
Because it delisting I value it lower than that . So you right moon.. it’s not as simple as that, but neither the less the were fag pack calcs
Correction...
Simple we owed 40% of the roaster concept before suspension
Now we only own 16.3% of a completed profitable commercial grade super plant.
