Is ready to make a big investment in a UK company "Tomorrow" according to the FT !
Wonder if he'll be back sniffing around Tesco again, or is put off following his last dabble ?
Hi Jandialbi, thanks for that.
Hi ..BorisandDoris.......it will be announced in next interim results which is due on 2nd October.
Hope this helps.

Hi, does anyone know the next divi price please?
Ignore that ex dividend comment, I’m a month early! Lol!
isn't it ex-dividend date today?
Isn't it always kantar worldpanel day? Normally it is, the day kantar reveal the ever dwindling market share.
Kantar lets boot Tescos share day as its known.
Can anyone highlight reasons for the drop today?
Try Tesco own brand Cornish pasties, they are lovely , and plenty of content inside . Must agree with your comment on all pastry and no filling on some other offerings , had the same experience.
Online?
We bought ours in store. The big problem with it was that inside the casing was hardly any filling - it was nearly all pastry! Hence our refund.
As for WorldGoRound, speak for yourself - I guess you are an employee of the dodgy outfit.
I checked through every Finest Quiche displayed online and every single one of them had cooking instructions on them.
Tesco have a 30 day "no quibble" guarantee. Don't like it then take it back and get a refund. As you have seen, no stress, no arguments, refund policy works.
Different product mate. I did ask the wife if it needed some oven time but no and it would have been burnt, she is dead picky about that sort of thing.
They didn't argue, just apologised and gave us a refund.
I do feel sorry for those poor souls at the Customer Service Desks in store or those taking calls. Half cooked pastry? Read the instructions on the box!
"Instructions: 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas 5 15-18 mins Place on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 15-18 minutes. Stand for 2 minutes prior to serving."
:-)
Wife bought a 'finest' quiche, says 'at least Tesco do good quiche' . On opening it we find it is just a pastry case smeared with a thin layer of filling. Also the pastry is not properly cooked.
We have half left and I will take it back to complain. (wife doesn't like to make a fuss but I don't like being scammed).
Can't see Tesco ever recovering. New Kantar figures today show Tesco's summer growth plunging -2% YoY and Lidl soaring +8% YoY. Dozens of Aldi-Lidl stores opening right next-door to every Tesco, with -30% cheaper prices. See new stores all the time, across the country. Every month, for the past decade, it is the same attrition, drip by drip. Death by a thousand cuts.
barron I've sent you a PM, I'm not sure whether you can reply to it or not, let me know if you don't mind.
Sadly only £30 in the bank ! Payday Friday thank god
When the paye comes through that will chip away at the mortgage and keep the wife off my case , he he he
OMG. I amazed myself yesterday. I did the Dundee Kilt Walk and a little bit extra for Andy's Man Clubs. 26.6 miles, over 70,000 steps and in just a little over 8 1/2 hours. Met a lot of great people, heard a lot of touching stories and we all raised a goodly sum for our favourite charities.
A little bit of cooling rain, pipe bands, Scottish country dancing, great support from the volunteers, toots from passing motorists and trains all went towards making it a day to remember.
And, in two weeks time, I do it all again :-) when I walk another 26 miles for Macmillan Nurses. For those of you who have donated, believe me, it really is appreciated. For those of you who would like to donate, there is still plenty of time, just click on the links below.

barron, do you have an email address? I'd like to contact you regarding a business opportunity if possible.
I’m always looking in and reading the posts with interest . Disgusting attitude by tescos regarding that suicide but that’s Tesco in a nut shell.
I did watch from the till once as a bloke went past and legged it with two bottles of jack Daniels and laughed as the management tried in vain to chase after him.
But if I’d have stopped him and injured him, Tesco would of been sued and I’d of lost my job for endangering the public. Sad but true in today’s snow flake generation.
I know it’s bloody pants at the moment, it’s a tough environment out there , brexit isn’t helping Aldi and Lidl are encroaching bit by bit store by store.. so my £3 target by jan 2020 seems far off, I’ll be happy to see £2.50. At least the dividend “may” be a 8.5p total by next year so that at least is a 5.5% ish yield on the 5 year saye price of 150p .. then may have to seriously consider my position . My potential leave date is April 2021 as I’ll completed 30 years the kids will be a responsible age to get to school and I’ll have that discount for life , “ unless the union and Tesco steal that back TOO! In another smoke and mirrors pay rise ??
Hey Barron long time no see! What have you done to the SP, lol??
What an appalling thing this check out operator who left his till to catch a shoplifter and was fired for putting people at risk. He committed suicide. I once saw shoplifting at Lidl and the staff did nothing. I mentioned it to a member of management. He asked who I was and I said a mystery shopper. I would not gave my name as it was a mystery.
I managed to find their number in Germany and they agreed to take action secretly
So for about 12 weeks now we’ve had agency staff in from up north to cover sickness lack of staff etc, ( A new starter lasted the obligatory 1 night at the weekend) we had 3 down one aisle and they still couldn’t finish what the guy on holiday does on his own . You have to think they’re on the same wage as us, they also put up in a hotel/accommodation , plus the agency wants a cut too, So what would normally cost Tesco £12 an hour say is costing close to £50 as nobody wants to do the overtime as it’s single time, we’ve been worked to the bone and they now can’t get anybody that’s a reasonable grafter in to fill the shelves.
It’s a massive amount of wasted money in my opion and these guys do this for a living as they said they move between stores. Utter madness
And the long term staff are leaving, another two drivers left with 13 plus years that’s invaluable knowledge from a delivery point of view.
Store wise its depressing .
written by Andrew Carnegie who died 100 years ago today. This is broadcast on Radio 4 today at 1:30. Worth a listen. As they say, you cant take it with you.
