OldFatProp: You would be mistaken I don't play any traditional sports. If you class poker or e-sports as a sport then that's more my type of thing (no i'm not a millenial either!)
Look we all understand the risks playing on the markets. For me the buzz from getting a "win" can almost be comparable to poker when you stack someone.
However the one thing I would never ever do which IS BAD FORM is laughing at other peoples misfortune. Even more so when some people are down quite a considerable amount of cash. Have a bit of class man!
Vegnor, yes I played rugby and enjoyed immensely, the suffering of the lesser gifted.
And like share trading, if you step across the white line, you deserve what comes your way, good or bad, without whining about "they" or "them" being out to get you.
Public moaning is bad form.
I assume from your post, you played hand ball. Messy game that.
Despite that, I too have been fortunate in my trades here. I have posted my movents for the cult members to follow and verify.
In all seriousness, this volitility has been a boon. You just have to make sure that your stakes are within walk away limits. At one point I had £106k in this which is far too much. Now I limit to £30k total stake when invested.
Next touch to 50 will see me back in play.
Good luck and mind your marbles.
Your hero,
OFP
I'm hoping for more than 85p. I'm quite happy to be patient for 1.50 in a year.
Now flatline here. Then offer for 85p.
We can get $2 billion for uganda an Kenya. Debt then only $800 million.
OldFatProp I have a wry smile for you. I'm having fun trading this and currently up 45% since December so you can stick that up where the sun don't shine :)
I have no shame or guilt trading in oil and i'll continue until i think it's time to move on. Of course if you have a problem then i'm not sure why you're even on this board!!!
One bit of good news and we can easily rise 50-60% look at enq.
If i was to guess I think we will see 58p today and also 55p.
No one likes a gloater. Also how can anyone know where this is going to swing next? There's zero logic to it! Dropping 15% Wednesday, rising 10% yesterday.
No one could foresee that we would drop from a market cap of 2.5 billion to just 770 million
Really enjoyed this thread.
While I'm always amused by the lesser sentient ranting that their personal disasters are the cause of some conspiracy by the infamous "they" cartel, or that the market makers have bugged their laptops and go out of their way to destroy them, I cannot escape the knowing enjoyment that anyone who investment personal fortunes in oil shares deserves a kicking.
There are ways even an 'unlucky' investors/ cult members here could have reduced average prices for their holdings by 20% by selling out and reinvesting on the dips without adding more cash.
Heres a salute with my first cup of coffee today for helping me smile into an easy Friday...
Only thing we can do is either hold long term to make money back or buy lows sell highs... but as I said that’s the point where these waaaankrs burn us
wait for oil price to pull back. its just spiking at the moment. i'm expecting it to pull back soon.
I think there will be some profit taking, I’ll be pleased if it ends at 53 but you never know
could take it up , well over sold yesterday what with the extra drop today for no reason . i was tipped 70 to 80p coming , so see what happens in the coming days.
Level 2 pipin hot. The bots go on after 3. Get in. 57 coming.
either 54p is gonna hold or low 50s coming. my guess.
its going vertical the wrong way again
Maybe I’m wrong but I feel the drop is coming... as always... I believe they will not allow this share to go up... more profit to fleece the public
Drink the koolaid
come on bring it on. 53p. gimme.
a golden rule i've learnt over the years never trade in the hour before US markets open. time to buy was at the open this morning. personally i had no funds..sods law. i took a chance selling before the US open though an hour or so ago.
basically hes sold some and hopes to buy some back at lower price targets? same as my strategy.
A straddle is an option strategy. You want it to be volatile and you make £
