Building the solar side is great, but just having an infrastructure in place and being the first IPP through CBM in Botswana is huge alone. I'm more confident than ever with the recent news, I only see upward trajectory from here onwards.
I just think Solar and additional initiatives is just an extra added boost.
The minute even just a small trickle of electricity hits SAPP, then the proof of concept is proven. This in turn will change the whole fortune of the company (Potential takeovers, new investors, increase of revenue by increasing MWs and infrastructure).
I thought we were already connected according to the TLOU tweet a few weeks back literally saying that they are now connected to the grid.
You would like to think that the company will pushing as hard as possible for this. Not only will be the start of the new beginning. But it also be the driver for the future of the company in many ways . Access to finance, developing the gas field and building the solar side to name but a few … could be exciting times a head
We could definitely see a surge in share price this year if we connect to grid.
I would say we connect to grid definitely this year. In terms of serious movement I probably would agree with Old that by the end of 2025 sky is the limit.
It's definitely looking a lot positive here.
I like to take the average of extremes. The co has said we're still on target for generation by the end of this year, and old says end of 2025. I'll say Q2 2025 (hoping for sooner).
As one of the longest holders here, my best guess is before the end of 2025. How soon before then depends on so many factors it would be silly to guess. However, it is much less of a gamble now than it was a year ago. But still not for'widows and orphans'!!
What date do you think it will be?
Hi Brad, I posted this a few days ago.
Hi Brad, your "Was 169m extra shares second favourite to funding with cash and interest?" could be a good shout mate.
I believe the company are considering offers of debt financing but the terms need to be right.
There's a chance they may not be offered at all.
Topped up for frequent trader as usual.
Has anybody got news if we can apply for shares form the 169M pot?
Jeez would you ever listen to yerself Cloooboy. You appear here from nowhere; profess to be Mr Tlou Expert, for no reason other than to have a pop at me.

Spot the newby??????? It is difficult to think of him ever getting anything right!
He does not know his own name half the time so it hardly surprising!
1 + 1 = 0 in his mind for no reason that he can justify!
Using my brain - he may not be wrong! 1 zero + 1 zero = zero but 1 apple +1 apple is 2 apples
"This reminds me of being in a primary school playground where everyone is busy running around .... where the only purpose of the adults is to let the children burn off energy."
Shame you never got beyond that level Donks.
We all know for fact that if wrote on here that 1 + 1 = 2 then you'd find fault with that because I wrote it.
You are a pathetic child. A poor apology of an adult?
I have challenged you to discuss a myriad number of times and you have never engaged with me and have merely tried to bully me in the playground while SIR was not looking.
As to what countries border Botswana - wtf relevance does that have? They were there yesterday and they will be again tomorrow - sfa to do with TLOU's history or future unless we join SAPP as seems likely and then it comes down to which country pays for the electricity TLOU supplies. I admit I do not understand how they know decide who has used the power and therefore who pays us? And how much power is lost in the form of heat in the wires? If the furthest destination is deemed lable for using our power supply then the heat loss will be more than if it is a closer neighbour.
Whichof these neighbouring countries is Karma going to raise his army in mate? You know, when he invades Botswana and creates a civl war that will close down TLOU but benefit Sekaname , your idea of the leading light in Botswana?
You ridicules TG for chasing a PPA of 2Mw , and praised Seka for wanting 90Mw+ and their economy of scale at 2018 prices?
Where has that ended up? TLOU has a PPA in Bots for 10Mw and Seka a PPA for 6MW ?
And you say you have called this right forever and I was wrong for longer than forever,
Apart from a few weeks in a weak moment of my life , I have had absolute faith in Tony Gilby getting us to his 3rd success in CBM from 3 attempts. You have doubted him all the way and you have never been wrong. Dream on and go back on filter chum - you need to grow up and go to secondary level education, Forget further education , forget A levels , you'll never get there!
You talk of credibility of understanding in Botswana I simply go back to quoting you back on the 28th of Feb less than one month before the BPOF trebled their holding in the company "In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange"... I didnt come on here to attack you it was asking how you got it so wrong, given your self proclaimed credibility... But as we have seen you have no answer for that or anything else, you're good for reminding us how many shares are in issue and that's about it...
A question on the countries boarders, tough for someone who used to live in Southern Africa... Am I playing a game of worldle???
PS, I got 2 out of 3
Gobbing off about gobbing off, lol.
Jeez would you ever listen to yerself Cloooboy. You appear here from nowhere; profess to be Mr Tlou Expert, for no reason other than to have a pop at me. When it is obvious that Tlou has dismally failed to deliver on its Prospectus x 3 (ASX, AIM, BSE) over how many years? Chuck as much as you want mate; you have no history, credibility, intelligence or understanding of anything that happens in Botswana.
Simple test for you (any other muppet posters here) - which countries does Botswana border with? Any of you honest enough to admit you got this correct - come talk and maybe we can have an intelligent conversation about Tlou / CBM / power generation in southern africa / SAPP (which has world of problems you idiots know SFA about) / BPC (and their cash constrained inability to pay Suppliers ) / ....
This reminds me of being in a primary school playground where everyone is busy running around .... where the only purpose of the adults is to let the children burn off energy.
HTG, get over yourselves. Get over thinking putting me down helps Tlou. Get over every other pathetic thing in your life that makes you want to gob off online at me (or anyone). Don't bring your miserable problems in your life to this message board - the facts of really slow progress over the past 15 years are OBVIOUS for all to see. So please Wake the Kcuf Up !
I thought he might be coming round lol... One thing for sure is no one will ever understand what's going on his head
I have just been asked what BOTS is bleating about and I took a look at a link he provided whilst trying to belittle a fellow contributor on here!
There is no end to his stupidity?
"The pension fund snapped up about 61.3 million additional shares amounting to 5.65 million Australian dollars (A$) (P50m) under the second round of an offer by Tlou that was initially closed in January."
He is a total ignoramus when he asked why they did not take up the offer in DECEMBER!!
FFS what is he on? Dafter than any brush that is in landfill rotting away.
That sentence tells anybody with half a brain or even less that they did take up ALL THEIR ENTITLEMENT by January - does he realise that January is seconds apart at its closest point with December - and THEN THEY SNAPPED UP ADDITIONAL SHARES!
That reads to me like it was a doddle to get them onboard TWICE . That claimed on here to prompted his outburst! 3 year olds are more advanced that BOTS!!! And they have not even started school? And he thinks he is clever?? Gee!
One of my ISA accounts with over a million TLOU shares is in credit at last. Not a lot as Paul Daniels would have said but 2.3 vs average of 2.29
My major ASX holding has a long way to go - 6.8c is the target and from 4.2c is a bit of a climb
Could take a couple of months?

Never in doubt, was it cloooooless
Ho ho ho.
Happy birthday donkey
Donk over 100M? Was that an april fool ?
Donk grew up being told he is the stupidest person in the world. He is proud of being a world champion and we are all boosting his confidence that he still holds that Lonsdale belt. Or he is a masochist and prefers our abuse to the strap his dominatrix uses on him after she takes his nappy off. He is sick guys! The metal on that belt must hurt below the belt!
Did Donk actually value TLOU above 100M? Hard to believe! If we end up issuing 2Bn shares that is an sp of 5p per 100M
100M is apparently the threshold for the big institutions to take an interest in us. If they include finance house we may not reach 2Bn and if they are investment companies then competition for shares could boost the price considerably. The only way is up.
Donk, in the space of couple of weeks you've gone from talking about a lights out s*** show to a future buy out at 100's of millions, and let's not for a minute imagine you're estimate isn't on the low side.
Imagine a politician had publicly admitted he'd say anything to get elected. Well, with your self confessed agenda, that's about how much credibility you have here.
