I have been hounding both Tils and Accustem over the past few weeks to their generic info email addresses on their websites to try and get some updates - for Accustem I found a number which somebody did answer on yesterday - 0207 495 2379 which I found in one of the documents on the Companies House website. It would be worth as many of us as possible calling them to try and put pressure on for updates.....the girl I spoke to was extremely apologetic and did promise to pass on my concerns / grievances to the BOD. If I don't get any response I will chase again in a few days.
Accustem now at its lowest point. They'll possibly announce a buy back shortly
Of course they're buying back shares. They've realised they can't push the price down more
Taking at face value and confidence in the company this is good? Why is everyone so downbeat? I bought in 3-4 times higher and awaiting that stock transfer to NAS:
I see this as a real positive. Happy to be judged and misguided
It is all smoke and mirrors - chucking snippets of this and that out to look as though they are trading when in fact every shareholder should be questioning this with what has come out of the company over past 14mths. The whole thing stinks!
Anything tangible to hand on too? NO. Accustem delivered to Market? NO.
Share Price falling off a cliff? YES
Everyone Locked in? YES
Can you do anything until it completely fails? NO
Is this giving time for the BOD to drift off over may months into places that cannot be held to account with all the money? YES! (Another NMC)
5million Share Buy Back! What an hysterical and cruel Joke from the BOD! We cannot even trade them or access them, or cash them in anyway. Some people have thousands in this and have completely been shafted. I have never seen such a laughable Post by a BOD (NEVER). Shares un-tradeable / Locked out for a Year and they are telling 8us they are doing a Share Buy Back! WOW! WOW! WOW!
Any updates on this?. Scumbag POS.
Wouldn’t feel so bad if they actually updated the market, even if they said not sure why it’s dropped but their intentions are the same etc.
Then again trials missed, no Accustem, Neil Graham presumably handed his notice in.
Maybe GC ought to pull his finger out of his ITA arse, stop buying dapper suits and deliver some value or answers to shareholders
You have licensed your product to a Car-t company to become an essential part of the formula.
Having signed a NDA and you know the Car-t is progressing better than expected. Armed with this info you could not personally buy shares but could the company buy shares !!! Shareholders would gain from that. Would that be legal???
Interested to hear your view on what the level of cash burn is (and on what?) and whether this is speculation on your part or can be evidenced? Not disputing this may be the case but from a PI perspective given the apparent lack of progress with trials/development, the only costly activity has been the share listing manoeuvres and related advice? Thanks
The stock repurchase looks like a defensive measure to protect against a potential de-listing. If the share price remains below $1 and there is a risk of being expelled from NASDAQ the company aggressively buys its shares in the market (and I presume cancels them) to force the share price up over the $1 level? However its just a sticking plaster imo TLSA needs to progress its pipeline of drugs and delivery systems and get ACCM launched on NASDAQ or sold. Until ACCM is sorted we cannot properly move on imo
Don’t forget that after the 30 consecutive days under a dollar and they get a warning from Nasdaq ,they have 180 days to rectify the situation. So no panic as excellent news will be soon , and if not we all just give up.
DCR couldn’t they just consolidate shares to a level where they get well above the $1 level?
On the share buy back…agree it’s utterly bonkers given the need for cash in progressing the pipeline.
However given their ability to crank up the PR when it suits, they use $5mn to buy back now, turn up the PR in 6 months, share price climbs and then do a placing for $20mn, which gives significant working capital but GCs stake isn’t diluted any further than it is today?? (just trying to make sense of it all!)
They did have a significant spike in 2017 I think, so this cyclical approach probably isn’t new to them…
What happens when a stock falls below $1 on the Nasdaq?
After the initial listing, if a stock's average closing price over any 30 consecutive trading days falls below $1, the stock is subject to delisting from the NYSE. This average closing price equals the sum of 30 consecutive closing prices, divided by 30. A closing price is the last trading price of a trading day.
15% down at one point, 15% up at another point.
Finished 2.73% up after another dip before that!
Down 18% today it just gets worse, surely there must be recourse here
A pointless and bad business decision. If the co is supposed to be developing new drugs then every dollar will be needed going forward. To buy back shares with monies from $57m fund raise is just crazy. It stinks !!
Agreed JB65 but absolutely pointless if they can't be traded........
Tiziana issued 11,009,615 ADSs (representing 22,019,230 new ordinary shares of nominal value £0.03 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares")) at a price of $5.20 per ADS raising gross proceeds of approximately $57.25 million (before deducting placement agent fees and offering expenses).
$5m @ $0.66 = 7.5m shares of the 11m ADR's issued.
As long as good new gives a higher price before the next raise, or is there a buying/partnership on the cards. This drop is not TLSA alone, dddd are on a similar path.

I have been away from here from a long time now still have a fairly decent amount of money in here. Has anyone actually had any correspondence from the bod lately? Wonder what upcoming things qe actually have to look forward to.
IMO none of the recent actions make any sense - TILS going to NASDAQ only should have been a good move in the context of a dynamic company looking to develop its assets and grow - but that contrasts with the almost total lack of apparent progress on that front for the last 12 months - also, if company looking to grow why even consider a share buy-back by using precious working capital? Notwithstanding modest amount, no logic to that at all IMO. Similarly on Accustem - seemingly a first class “asset” but appears to have been side-lined for a year? What benefit to the BOD in doing that? Obviously as PI’s we are not party to what may be going on in the background so hopefully we will receive a pleasant surprise one morning with news of a company/asset sale that would return some value to the long-suffering U.K. (in particular) shareholders.
Hello All
Company’s management to implement a stock repurchase program for up to $5 million of the Company’s common shares at any time. The term of the board authorization is until December 31, 2022. The repurchase program may be suspended or discontinued at any time and will be funded using the Company’s working capital.
VERY CLEVER ! The key words here are REPURCHASE AT ANY TIME ( No time or date given !) and THE REPURCHASE PROGRAM MAY BE SUSPENDED OR DISCONTINUED AT ANY TIME ! If they were going to do a stock purchase you would think they would do it now while the SP is at the lowest it has ever been ! VERY CLEVER BUT I HOPE IT WORKS !

a share buyback from a company that is burning cash like it's going out of fashion, either this is a joke or something is very wrong here.
but what i find amazing is the amount of Corporate Action RNS's , almost 90% of them ...hence where we are i suppose
Well at least the initial market reaction was positive.SP instantly recovered from the day low of 0.66 to blue at 0.83 USD just now on this buy-back announcement. Now at 0.75 USD. Still needs proper engagement from the BOD to turn this around properly though and will likely need SP consolidation if there isn't good progress by the Summer.
Ok, stopping with the disgruntled PI stuff (and breathe), what is the point of a share re-purchase program of $5m?
Are the Board now grasping at straws to such an extent that they think this will make difference to anything. I'm at a loss here.
When it comes to paying the bills and being a 'going concern' $5m is a lot of money. When repurchasing shares it's less than nothing (even after you've trashed your share price)
The way the SP is going $5m will be the market cap soon.
I keep my shares here to remind me that I should take a profit (had 20,000 when the SP was £2.85). I f****d up but nowhere near as much as the BoD have.
Grrrrr
