The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
We needed some solid results or partner companies to disclose any movement forward.
Too long without any sensible updates (the RNS last week could be perceived as hype and skirted the corners on facts)
As mentioned before the company was quick to dampen when we saw a spike in the share price. Little to nothing on any drop (the drop was greater than the increase).
I’m largely out.
Hi, I think given the timeline to full rollout how the tests are done etc will naturally evolve as science evolves.
Like someone mentioned last week an assessment centre in a supermarket car park isn’t always ideal and certainly not cost effective vs what might become as simple as an LFT, in which case I would say the board are taking a well informed choice and whilst Ciz needs to be progressive and we all want this with speed, to be successful it MUST be as accurate as possible and so I for one would rather hold on for a trusted outcome rather than skip through the first hurdles to be kicked out with any final trials?
Evening all,
Plenty of valuable comments over the past few days.
Taking a broad base view of opinions, @Finwittrader do you still feel this is likely to go 1.8 /sub 2? It has recovered well and the RNS was in fact positive? Fully appreciate it has been small trades and whilst many feel your comments (me included) are not what we want to hear, you nearly called it. Time will tell if your right 😂
@Neilin like most have said greatly appreciate your input.
Hi all,
The mini draw down was a surprise and it does raise questions, however the wording I feel is positive and clearly so does the market.
Most organisations have access to preliminary results prior to official, hence moving forward with other avenues, however it is only validated results that we can move forward with.
Equally, and a throw out to those that may know better, could the Conduit Merger be holding results back in so much the merger confirmed and ‘pumping’ it with strong metrics around the same time?
News flows are managed but open to thoughts here.
Glad to see that we have not hit the 1.8 that some shorters speculated but interested that they may have seen something coming that the PI was not aware of.
I agree it would be nice but….updates should be via an RNS and unless I’m wrong it should come with factual updates, not what people want to hear (otherwise accused of pumping?)
With little data this could go back to 1.5, or continue to bubble around 2-3p. On good news, sky is the limit but as with any holding there is always a downward risk.
Sit tight and wait for news. The tight spread and low volume sell / buys just to maintain a price suggests something is happening and we will see news (positive or not) early next week. Either way I’m in and if I could buy more I would.
??
Can only assume this relates to a suggested lack of comms?
Argument is that solid gains comes with news. There is no news. There will be peaks and troughs, and those wetting the bed on a short retraction be left behind.
For the LTH, as we were gents.
OAK, I think and hope you are right.
Like I said before I had to sell out not after the RTO, not by choice. Subsequently I’ve bought in at 1.5 / 2.5 / 3.1. Like most LTH I’m at a loss but I came back to this share as once we see validation there will be a spike.
Past few days are nothing for LTH to be concerned about (accept that MM’s might have manipulated to allow for a larger buyer) but for those holding steady and long term will see the gains.
As many have commented, Corepath / Murphy is of interest, but little. It could add value / it may not. Those who know the stock are well addressed and appreciate that when impending news arrives it will drive the stock in the right direction.
Not sure ramping but Alan signalled today that the share price should get back to where it was signalled to be & more importantly we are within the realms of hearing a positive RNS re the trials.
Not unfathomable that this could happen before the end of 2023 but I think a buyout will happen once initial confirmations come through.
A healthy update and great to see that they are marketing and managing the share price uptick. Or calming the market so that insiders can buy cheap ??
Spot on to mention that Millions cannot invest as the share capital doesn’t exist, hence why we are seeing rounded buys of 5/10/20k when they are available. These are II’s picking up the stock where and when they can. Individuals (day traders) typically work on £ not number of shares.
With any small stock it always comes the question of MM and yes I’m sure that happens but with news or not I’m confident for the year ahead. A Monday morning RNS will certainly help but sit tight & enjoy the ride!
I think like many mentioned this was about getting the day traders out of the way.
When this goes (and it will have to be news from US or China) it will rocket. The uncertainty is that this could come tomorrow morning, it could come late this year.
Either way, not one I wish to be out of when it goes!! Can’t help but feel that the Sunday Roast plug was warming us to a good week ahead…..time will tell
Thanks as always for adding value Neilin62 & really appreciate your TA over the years.
Any engagement should be considered positive but I tend to feel that we have moved above low key events like this. If they do attend it doesn’t hurt, but I think we are beyond that.
The board could have an attendee but it wouldn’t be in shareholder interest as they already have an Idea where the value is & it isn’t a jolly to the US. TBF to the board they have been conservative (compared to many) but let’s see.
