Good to see longs having a bit of fun, and the SteBOT quiet. Sure he will soon be back soon. Can someone please enlighten me on the Insider rules. My working assumption is now that a there must be no meaningful conversations live re spin off or take private given CFO purchase?
*My working assumption is now that a there must be no meaningful conversations live re spin off or take private given CFO purchase?*
Correct. But what gave you the impression that such conversations were taking place?
Obviously, the buy doesn't prevent an unsolicited approach.
Yesima,
I'm fairly certain the CFO is in a position to see the state of business beyond the period of any insider trading rules and has made his quarter of a million investment for the long term accordingly, but you know that.
Outside of hardish closed periods around results anything else the business can call a closed period internally if it considers there is significant inside information.
Google search - Unsolicited bids are also referred to as hostile takeovers. Companies make unsolicited bids to control market share, increase profits, and/or limit competition. A company may reject the offer or set up an employee stock ownership plan to avoid being the target of an unsolicited bid.
I personally did not know that if the company has a employee stock ownership plan this could prevent a hostile bid
Also took some more.

Here are those Americans. always around
Not everything on the internet is true Mr Hermit
No corporate news for at least 30days due to closed period rules. Director must know this otherwise the NOMAD would block the purchase. JMO
He purchased yesterday but an approach could've been made today, and is why cityspy tweeted this morning... then he wouldn't be subject to insider trading rules?
Itβs a little strange that the larger than usual UT was the night before the CFO goes on to purchase himself. π€
Yes Ste..here are those Americans. And they have barely impacted the share price.
It's time to jog on.
Good RNS and clearly confidence in the company. Director or not, no one spends Β£200k of their own money without some degree of confidence in the business.
Not sure why the obsession with a corporate event, would rather a gradual increase in SP before even entertaining anything, so as to avoid any lowball activities/bids etc
As always, GLA and patience am sure will win out here.
@SB1000 whilst insider buying is positive, and i've got no doubts THG will beat expectations on trading this year, IMO a strategic move to unlock value and access capital for growth is imperative and overdue. Its all good and well MM and Iain Mc b8tching off the LSE, but sooner or later they need match the bullish rhetoric with action.
Bots loaded for last 20
STE2000 - You're short so who cares what you think.
Keep the positive sentiment going. Donβt let the trolls win rocket π ππππ
Sorry, my mistake - he/she's paid by the shorts. Hasn't got the balls to be short him or herself!
Yeah, those bots in the last 20 really showed us STE2000 - complete buffoon!
He's an utter fool along with rest of his aliases.
Ste is as reliable as City Spy
