Yes SYN00GOLD let's hope they Look Fantastic :)
That’s a big one Mando because if Asia is smashing its targets we are in for some big news when the numbers are released
Less growth does play some part. The analysts were mentioned slowing growth in both H1 and Q3 questions. However what they don’t get is that 75% of new customers reorder. So if they add 1 million new customers to its base then that feeds into more orders in Q1. Add that to jan sales and you get Q1 growth that’s 25%+ up on the same period the year before. The next 2 quarters follow similar numbers to Q1 but then ramp up again in Q4. Ingenuity growth is key and I think this is where the people’s focus is on but the rest of the business is flying.
@AS1. Absolutely. China growth will probably be absolutely huge!
"The [China] team already smashed this years targets before the [Singles] day had even begun & will be celebrating all their efforts next week!"
@Indy - well done on this find my friend. You started all this with the info here and on ADVFN. Thank you :-)
No worries Mando. Let’s hope we all do well here.
The cat is out of the bag so let’s hope everyone jumps in and we get a continued rise back to fair value!
Interesting coming up to the US market open as we also touch the 200MA on the minute charts. I have my fingers crossed for a positive move now.
I know I was spamming this board a hell of a lot earlier today (sorry), but it's gone very quiet here for a while now (?) :-)
Mando
SP is still only where it was 3 weeks ago...so...the wait goes on
Great work today Mando - appreciate the research.
Mando
we have upgraded you from a previous life of Miss Marple to a reincarnated Sherlock Holmes :-)
Thanks Mando, this information gives us all a lift. How we are now less than 1/3 of the IPO price last year baffles me.
A long way to go until January 18th.
For fun, anyone care to take a guess at the SP on 17th Jan?
Mando its way below the 200DMA. its coming up to the 20DMA at 186p.
200DMA at 536p!!
@downbutnotout
I didn't say DMA. I said 200MA on the minute chart
Share price has dropped so much since September as MM announced plans to split THG into at least 3 different companies, including THG Beauty (notice the #tags on thr LinkedIn posts) and one for logistics. Even with good December sales, if the company says there are plans to split large revenue streams out, the share price is clearly going to tank.
Well someone is picking up a few shares at end of day to buy, like 600,000 shares @1.81............
Yes, great first post on LSE Average_up
The shareholders won't simply lose these revenue streams, we'll be compensated one way or another.
Guys talking about the split up of companies..
Yes, that went down like a lead balloon, it's probably why we're here and it needs more transparency.... BUT what isn't being considered here is that today you BUY 100% of THG, if they sell 20% of Ingenuity or 20% of Beauty, they will be selling it for £$BILLIONS£$ in CASH, that cash WE benefit from as existing shareholders.
It is unclear how, when, if splits will happen, but these guys aren't stupid (despite capital markets days to prove me otherwise) they are all shareholders and wouldn't dilute themselves with no benefit.
I have no fear about the split, I just hope if, when, it happens the SP is back to £7+ and the individual businesses get the valuation they deserve.
This is still to me the best opportunity on the LSE - time will tell DYOR (don't listen to fear without some supporting evidence)
Keep up the good work mando, still holding but don’t look in much. Just waiting for that rns to take this back on a run up to £3
Cheers all. I enjoyed today. Hope it gives long term holders some more confidence. It definitely helped my confidence which I've got to say has been knocked over the last month. Despite how much you believe in a business, when you see shorts pushing a stock down, clearly it can get to you and make you question your ideas. That's what they want. So thanks again to Indy (and Alice) for starting this.
Below's another quote I found for Ingenuity lovers posted 1w ago. Again, not mentioning the poster's name to avoid doxing, although I've taken a screen grab for proof and it can probably easily be found on a google search if done before it gets highlighted and edited!
"And just like that another Black Friday with THG Ingenuity comes to an end. There’s been some super early starts and late finishes, but without doubt this Black Friday has been the most enjoyable I’ve ever been involved with… The very first Black Friday campaigns for Homebase and Bathstore not only delivered, they absolutely smashed expectations out the water! For that a huge shout out to everyone working on the account but especially aaaaa, bbbbb, ccccc, ddddd, eeeee and ffff who have been absolutely phenomenal over the last couple weeks bringing the campaign to life…"
lol and another... sorry, can't resist!
"Time flies! This has been my third Black Friday at the THG all three BFs were different and allowed me to grow. The first BF was at Myprotein the second at THG Ingenuity with ELEMIS and the third at THG Ingenuity with Homebase. It is absolutely my favorite time of the year to see all the hard work showing up in figures and our client satisfied. It's incredible how much I have learned in the past 3 years at THG. This year’s Black Friday was more special for me as it was the first ever Black Friday for Homebase with PHENOMENAL results. Special thanks to my manager xxxxxx for his absolute amazing support and to the Homebase & Bathstore team aaaaa, bbbb, ccccc, ddddddd, eeeee, fffffff, ggg. Looking forward to more success"
and the last one for today at least - I promise!!
"Blink and it’s over. My first Black Friday with THG Ingenuity seemed to pass by quickly. A lot of hard work was put in from the whole team and the results were worth it as our account (Homebase) contributed to being the top performing category across Ingenuity and first to reach Tier 3!"
Great day! Thanks Mando, Indy & Alice. I’d love to see us pushing through 185p tomorrow but who knows it’s kinda a roll of dice. That said I think we will have an announcement on Friday ready for the weekend papers. ‘Blue Horseshoe loves Anacott Steel.’
