Add to story that Dunstone recently [7 April] sold 5 percent stake in Dixons Carphone....... cash on the hip?
They are giving away FREE Amazon Prime for 1 year to new TV/Fibre customers - fixed price for 18 months.
How much has that agreement with Amazon cost them?

This price is too low , given the potential of this Company. Hopefully will move ahead when silly season is finally closed.
Morbox in my opinion TALK will do OK ,now everybody sitting home and using the internet including me too, lol
Volcano, dipping my toe in here today, first trade for weeks! Just looking to make the odd 50-100 not stay in for long! I see your spt is doing ok today. Will have a look at the fundamentals week week, my work (sparks) has dropped of a cliff.
SPT does look interesting, I’ll DMOR cheers, at a quick look seems similar to Laird, which did me very well.
That is not a problem Morbox , he has been buying TALK shares for a six months so worth keeping eye on here.
Not trading today i am busy with other things and looks like another red day on the markets anyway.
i did really well with BBY yesterday. keep eye on SPT long term winner in my opinion.
Not following you, was just looked at talk talk done me well over the years. Not going in today but putting an alert on it. Not traded today, just getting a handle on what’s going on.
Talktalk chairman Sir Charles Dunstone (pictured, with his wife Celia) has increased his stake again – and is now within a whisker of having to make a full-blown takeover bid.
The 55-year-old snapped up 955,149 shares in the broadband provider on March 6 and March 9 for almost £1million, filings revealed yesterday.
He has bought more than 12m shares over the past six months, and has 341.3m, or 29.77 per cent, just below the 30 per cent threshold that requires him to make a bid for the rest of the business under takeover rules.
talk is increasing steadily. But more importantly it is improving organically.
I always say invest in the management! The management seem to have sorted out all of the mess.
This will be 200p by this time next year if things carry on as they are and results are in line with market expectations.

This is now getting very interesting with Tosca on about 28% and Dunston on about 29.9%,
Is someone going to make a full bid very soon?
whatever happens in the next election TalkTalk is very good co. &it is very competitive with its pricing we have had a very good deal with them &have stuck with for the past 5 years the reason why their share plunged a year ago was because they were in dire debt due to overpaying their dividends & also had an issue with security now that all sorted out &thier security is 2end to none
I'm assuming that there will be a Tory majority government.
The best thing to look at is NOT the polls, but the bookies. Remember, the bookmaker never loses. And the odds for a conservative majority are odds on.
With that in mind, I am hoping that the market has been prudent with telecoms companies and entertained the possibility of a labour or no majority government.
Therefore, assuming the bookies are right i.e. the Tories get their majority then talktalk along with BT et al. will increase significantly.
But lets not turn our attention away from the excellent half year results. The Talktalk strategy is delivering extremely positive results. I trust this management team. Its going in the right direction.
watch this share go higher &higher after the coming election Labour has no chance of a win who can trust them they will put this country in massive debt after promising jam tomorrow to everyone including the lazy lot who rely only on benefits, &nationalizing everything whare is all that money going to come from higher taxes for everyone council tax reaching dizzy heights
Harrison said that the company had invested 60 million pounds in FibreNation, adding that it was a tiny part of the business.
Surely something higher
Has anyone seen a ball park figure for what FibreNation might be worth?
He can still buy in the open marker
He probably want take the company private
So he buys more shares and now has 29.6%, ok if he buys a little more ie 30% he then has to make a full takeover bid but what will he need to offer?
Will he be able to get total control with £1.25 or £1.40 ?, what will it take for other big holders to sell?
Could be a little gamble here.
CHARLES DUNSTONE, executive director buys over £1 million pounds share !
but in old money is would be £830m, the new accounting standards adds in the leases to make it up the £1041.
So yep its bigger but not as much as first seems
