I think I’ll keep in, see how the market response to the mrp tomorrow. Can’t wait for the exit poll on Thursday, either be a nice relaxing Thursday night/Friday morning or re-setting volumes and stop loss prices before the market opens.
Just looked at YouGov’s website in states “ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT New data from YouGov’s MRP model will be published at 10pm on Tuesday December 10th. The website and this announcement will be updated as soon as the new data is live.”. Not sure where I saw Sky had first rights on publishing.
YouGov’s MRP out tonight, it’s being published at 22:00. I think sky has bought first rights in publishing. It should give the best view on how the country is thinking. I think anyone on this board wants and needs a Blue win. Phy510 I nearly did the same “sold half” earlier today but decided to wait until I see the polling tonight. Hell of the day for me everywhere apart from the AA for some reason, and Bids came back up a bit.
On WHM just need some good US figures and hopefully a good half year so Divs will rise as per policy. No matter which colour gets in, I think the uk gambling sector could be in for a bad 2020 with focus on online betting. US expansion needs to start paying dividends, I see this week WMH have opened the first sports book in Miami, “first in Florida”.
Not sure if this article was posted yesterday, I found it after I brought more!
It states “ We don’t think Bidstack Group’s revenue of UK£343,598 is enough to establish significant demand. As a result, we think it’s unlikely shareholders are paying much attention to current revenue, but rather speculating on growth in the years to come. Investors will be hoping that Bidstack Group can make progress and gain better traction for the business, before it runs low on cash.”

I would love to go though that paper for the last year to see how much advertising they’ve taken from all the bets firms! Does my head in. As I’ve said before, what stop lotto, those scratch cards, and worst of all Andi Peters type phone in rip offs. It not just gambling firms It’s now imbedded in our society, get over it! When the online uk industry stops, go of shore!
Just got in from work, what Sh** show, all mine down, anyway buying opportunities everywhere, but may hold out until the Friday the 13th as it might be an nightmare on Downing Street! (If cons don't win with a majority).
I'm in Bids for 3.5k topped up yesterday at 17.9, love the concept hopefully great returns in a few years just in time for my son finishing his GCSE's and a great holiday to the Galapagos. On WMH, nice article about "WMH, Deal to buy CG Technology sportsbooks may signal more consolidation" and that “In regards to mergers and acquisitions, this is only the beginning,” said Brendan Bussmann,a partner at Global Market Advisors.
Just looked at your post profile, missed you on Bids, I’m also in at avg 19.02 so also down on that today but hopefully may get some news soon. Keep asking my son “any ads in your games”. Anyway I look at my whole portfolio and as long as I’m up and make more than money sitting in Santander, I’m happy. I’m pea off that I thought about VMUK last week but went “a name change!” worth a punt NO, doh! But ITM my winner in at 32.7. I’m still happy holding WMH, as you, I feel that someone will want to buy WMH as long as their US expansion keeps on track.
Like you I’m sitting on them, just taking the divs and waiting. it’s all the MP’s fault, I wonder if IDS will get re-elected. When will they learn not to muck about with free markets. The update “percentages” I want figures, other companies give detailed updates. Anyway onwards and upwards (hopefully). Bet you’re glad you didn’t touch the AA. I’m still down on that one but need 52p to break even. Such Fun.
Bilboburgler, I saw this old article along time ago re: industrial ITM projects, I'll need to do more research to see what actually happened but does discuss lots of industrial applications including steelworks
Yes, It states it on the 8.5 forms, I thought it would be helpful to to see if overall it was positive or negative dealings. With this high level info you can't get down to individual clients, but as you've stated at least overall dealings are not negative. bagpuss any views on timescales for news? Personally I think there's going to be nothing until after the GE.
I'm just hoping that the PI's are not going to be screwed over. (Like I was on Flybe). You take your chances!
Until further information on how much money is going into buy back, the sp may drop back as div hunters may look else where, sell now and buy lower to hope to get a better % div return?
Say that the div without special div is still good. But with MP's getting involved (pending FCA report), tomorrow, if the open price allows it, I may take some profit and wait for a lower entry point next year.
