Was hoping for an early Xmas present but I should have known better from this company. There is no need to take it right to the deadline and an extension would ruin us. If we are not already ruined.
Although Tolsa could just let the option expire if they don’t intend to exercise it, I tend to agree Treestump that it’s more likely that the company would have been informed before the Christmas break if they weren’t going to proceed. It may simply be a case of triggering things as late as possible to make payment as late as possible.
It did seem to me that Tolsa were playing hardball in relation to some aspect of the deal, prompting PC to take the precaution of sub-dividing the share capital last month to re-set the price floor. They may have been trying to renegotiate the price, the royalty or buy the royalty out, as Justone has suggested, hence his trip to Spain, who knows, but PC obviously felt the need to have a plan b in place.
All will be revealed very soon.
Merry Christmas all!
I agree Tree-stump.. if it were a no go then we would have to have been told..
Possible scenarios:
1 Still awaiting internal approval at tolsa
2 Small delay whilst t's are crossed and i's dotted on the agreement
3 negotiations underway for tolsa to buy all or part of the royalty
4 wider agreement under discussion covering pozz and or diatomite too..
5, 6... I could go on.. let's not get too worried/ pessimistic - we've waited this long! (cue some anguished posts about just how long lol)
I guess that you can take it both ways Terrafin, they have until the 28th, that looks likely the day something will drop who knows. I'm in the belief that if it had gone belly up and they were no longer intresred following the drilling, this would have been apparent now. I reinvested that large wedge the other day on a positive outcome and i still stick by that, but we will soon know.
Any other views from investors here and there are a few who haven't posted in a long long time are welcome. TICK TOCK as you used to say, the 28th is a coming.
Hmmm - no news on Tolsa yet today
- not got a good feeling on this now
- hope I'm wrong but if PC can't get this deal across the line in 12 months then there is no hope for the CS project
The constant lack of news on all things SRES is shameful PC - the disappointment continues .......
lol, i'll see what happens next week lovejoy. if they do buy and there is a reasonable rise, i may take some off the table. the thing is, we have absolutely no idea if, what of when the deal will actually happen. started to increase my holding because of cs and now hazen, an will hold the vast majority until ( hopefully ) something comes to fruition.
always have to hope, even through the ****show of this past couple of years..
Well done back in . But one day you will sell and won’t get back in. 😂
to stave off any theories, those two buys, first at 13:35:22 and the 10k one 5 minutes later were mine. i sold 15 million in the mid 20's last year and after cashing in the rise on tym ( which i also hold ) i bought them back today at the all time low. if the deal comes through with tolsa, then great, but decided today to roll the dice and get back to my original holding.
**** or bust, as they say. good luck all.
Rather hefty buy in today. Someone confident :)
Pc pulled off deal in 90s, you and a couple of others said he can’t pull off another deal. Well he has with Tym and your face is shut. That’s twice now and you’re very quiet.
With Tym. The few derampers on Tym who said pc couldn't pull it off now have egg on their faces. Pc no doubt will now be ensuring deals done. Look at pc holdings in both companies and you will see he holds 30 times more shares than in Tym. That tells me Tym does great but pc makes a few bob. Sres is his icing on the cake. I’m miles down on Sres but the lift in Tym makes me now in profit looking at both companies.

Contacted SRES to see if anything planned for here, unlikely I presume though.
Other golden nuggets of quotes from RNS releases over the years .
CS project ( aim for production first quarter 2021 )
Baystate ( targeting thousands of ounces of silver)
Yep the man should be on it,ll be alright on the night or be a politician

I totally agree Terrafin. He allowed the PR to be released saying how 2023 was set to be a banner or transformational year for SRES. That has not happened - so it is only right and proper that the MD/CEO of the company explains the delays and problems and provides some much more clear and precise thinking how 2024 will see the company progress. .
Slinking out of 2023 and slithering into 2024 is likely what he wants to do - we must not allow this to happen !!
Perhaps cheatham should devote some time to the activities of sres , 2023 he has done nothing but concentrate on tym . Vote of no confidence at the agm looming
So the Annual report is due - expect this to drop on Thursday when no one is looking.
Will PC have the cheek to tell us how exciting 2024 is shaping up and what a transformational year it is set to be for SRES again !!
SRES 2023 - massive disappointment on so many levels, just like 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 etc etc ........
How many shares were 'in issue' when you bought your shares Safe ?
There must be a reason for why you constantly berate a company / its management - please share why that is here so we can help understand your frustration better. It has to be something more than yu are just down a few quid. Surely.
Shares in issue - 4 1 BILLION
Market Capitalisation - £2.66m
PC's 2023 Festive Cheer for shareholders !!
What an UTTER SHAMBLES !!
because they are currently not worth a **** in a pot !!
Can t sell , no price given
Audited accounts due , annual report and notice of agm , all due imminently , should be interesting reading the same old bull .
You honestly think your ranting on here is keeping up any sort of pressure Safe, oh my god.
You are whistling in the wind, just ranting on the internet. You never actually talk to anyone at the company, nobody is feeling your pressure.
You never actually do anything, it’s sweet that you think you are achieving anything at all.
Global Cement and Concrete Association welcomes COP28 fossil fuels exit deal

UAE/UK: The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) has welcomed the first international agreement to transition away from fossil fuels, signed by 200 countries at the COP28 climate conference in Dubai. The GCCA said that the deal recognises the need for deep, rapid and sustained reductions in global CO2 emissions.
GCCA chief executive officer Thomas Guillot said “We welcome the progress made at COP28. Decarbonising global industries such as ours will take the collective effort of governments and industry, finance and policymakers, scientists and civil society, all working together. On behalf of our industry and alongside our members who represent the majority of cement production globally, we participated in the preparation and launch of a number of key initiatives that will help enable the shift to net zero – including the Industrial Transition Accelerator, Cement Breakthrough, and Carbon Management Challenge.” He added “We are fully committed to decarbonising our sector and have a detailed net zero commitment and pathway which we are already working towards, including the substitution of fossil fuels, the use of renewable energy and the deployment of new technologies such as CCUS.”
I hope you are wrong Safe but the more this goes on the more accurate you seem to be. After the last bit of waffle for an RNS I sent a personal email. PC said he would be happy to talk to me. I sent my number and several weeks later still have not received a call. Possibly it was because I added only call me if we have made any progress and not if you have anything that we don't already know.
