Clock gradually ticking down to zero and cancellation of shares if FCA don’t get their act together. I can’t believe the management didn’t do their due diligence before entering into the deal. Smells of a rat and only until 2nd Feb before the delisting we have to assume? I hope I’m being overly pessimistic and all gets the go ahead but not looking good from the sidelines is it?
I wouldn’t bet on it. Maybe its all be another AIM £cam?
Now now Moniman I will not have talk like that in the ranks ( don't bleed in front of the men and all that ) surely if this falls through its not just us who lose out its the companies as well i,m sure they will drag it over the line some how !!!!
Will the last investor please tun the lights off and put the cat out on the way out when this closes on the 2nd Feb. Well that was a very interesting experience not!
Looks like this board has gone to sleep. Well if nothing agreed with FCA by 4th Feb 2022 then it’s all over it would appear?
You’d have thought that the company would have done some research and discussed this with the FCA before going down this route. Clock is ticking and FCA appears to be oblivious to the potential outcome here. Any thoughts?
Well looking at the small print on AIM shell rules, it appears that something has to happen either way by the 2nd of February 2022 otherwise it's game over maybe? the FCA need to pull their finger out!!!! ......The Company was suspended from trading on 2 August 2021 following the announcement of the proposed Acquisition. In the event that no such transaction is completed within six months the date of its suspension, the Company's shares will be cancelled from trading on AIM pursuant to AIM Rule 41. There can be no assurance that the Company will be able to complete the Acquisition or any other Reverse Takeover during the six-month suspension period.........
Don’t be surprised if that’s moved out to January 2025 if the dinosaurs at the FCA are concerned.
END OF JANUARY...... For f--- Sake. Patience running out !!!!
At least you can actually see a snail move , some people just slow things down to make it look like they actually are needed , drives me up the wall when things are held back , just crack on !
worse than a snail when its comes to cannabis companies
Thanks for posting RNS, it looks like FCA are moving as slowly as possible to make it look like they are worthy of existing. There is one thing we can be sure of is UK red tape, no wonder China is doing so well and our economy is going down the pan. Maybe it'll get sorted by 2025?
Well trading not resumed. One can only assume that FCA are putting road blocks in the way of the Hellenic deal?. Pathetic really
Blame the dinosaur regulators who like the sound of their own voices. Anything to stop business operating successfully in the UK.
Have to say this needs to go through this week , if i worked this slow in my work i would be bust in no time !!
Yes getting a bit frustrating awaiting news here , things should really move quicker than this , but then if lawyers are putting things together we may as well wait for the cows to come home ,so to speak , sorry if you work in law moniman !!
Increasingly looking like a delay to resumption of trading probably due to our outdated regulators that would no doubt like to stop entrepreneurs doing this type of business in the UK and rather see it go elsewhere? Any thoughts?
if you read the article below in full you will see there are some hurdles to overcome but this is a small part of what was said about relisting date.........
............Hellenic’s Vice President Davinder Rai is confident that it will become a listed company, despite the UK’s complex legal framework surrounding such investments.
Mr Rai told BusinessCann: “We expect to join the LSE before the end of October at the latest.”
UK SPAC whose investors include Raglan Capital and Hargreaves Lansdown Nominees, has submitted a first draft of the prospectus to the FCA and made an application in respect of a Standard Listing.
Satisfying The Regulators
Late last year the Financial Conduct Authority said it was changing the rules to allow cannabis companies to list on the LSE...........
Anything is possible, I think it will depend if Uk laws will allow trading in such a product?
Can someone tell me is it possible for this timeline to go past the end of this month or will that break some deadline set in stone ?
Just in case anyone missed this article

Is there any news out there to confirm the day we start trading again?
Relisting by the end of October I believe was the message from the company. Hoping that we get some sustained interest and a frothy share price, certainly during the first fortnight or so of trading. I feel this could be a very exciting investment. GLA.
