oh be quiet crud - I might be showing my ignorance, but ignorance is bliss!!
Far better being me, who can say it how it is and how it appears rather than consistently crawling up someone's derriere only to be expelled...and then spouting that crap to the masses and crying on stage.
So come on, how much did sound pay you this time? Or have they given you a new towel?
As a matter of interest, and in fairness to Crudehope, the pejorative 'Little Englander' was originally used by British imperialists to put down anti-imperialists, i.e. politicians or their supporters who opposed the continuation of the British Empire.
It would have been a perfectly respectable pejorative had it not been requisitioned by Europeanists
to put down people who don't want Britain to be part of a European Empire and want Britain to be independent.
A pejorative originally used to describe people who, in their day, were on the political Left, is now being used to ridicule people who are generally on the political Right.
Longwait, your example only goes to show how modern-day soundbites & posts can be twisted to suit personal agendas. 'Left, Right' assertions do not begin to describe a person's true feelings...they are just labels that have seemingly always been hung around a persons neck for the convenience of lazy keyboard warriors - or before the internet, the newspapers!
Crude you have not got a good name you’re full of bull****, wheeled out to defend that con man who pulls your strings.
The share price is 7p
Will do when HO finds the Rns button.
Esox.
Mr Crudehope, your visit to Sevenoaks reminds me of the fabled GSA. You said last week you were visiting a National Trust property this week, a day of leisure I presume. You later said you were in the area but would only have time for flying visit being on a tight schedule. Now you are visiting on 30th October, not this week or next week. How tight is that schedule? I suspect next week to hear it is not the day on which you are visiting that matters but the final outcome of the quick, but not instant, coffee and chat. I think some might realise already that the chat will be delayed until after the LE as the new owners would prefer to negotiate their own date for a chat with you.
Jesus Jones...what date I am in Sevenoaks hardly matters. As it happens, I am trying to accomodate visiting HQ with my plans to visit Sevenoaks...which are two different matters & require a level of coordination.
Regarding my SIPP - you still have no idea whatsoever about the concept of 'Drawdown'! Do some some basis research...one day it could come in handy...if you live that long!
Crud master General, do some of your own research and then do one is what I see from #Pinocchio parsons face at a particular investor event.
You were running around excited with a camera, when Pinocchio Parsons saw you, the look on his face said it all...no doubt the video will get taken down but damn it was hilarious!!
It's a must watch for all crud no hope fans
Ha ha. Please post a link to the video of crude making a pratt of himself. The silly old man ignored his financial advisor's advice with his superior know it all attitude. It'll be his family that suffer since he transferred his pension into parson.
A risk that, at his time of life, was too much.
how you have the gall to post anymore as a proven liar and self confessed troll is staggering.
wonder if that Christmass all staff meeting will happen this year :)
Remember Mickey has made £10,000,000 on his dealings in mainstream shares since 2008. He does not post on this on this AIM bulletin board for his own benefit. He could be down the pub making good coin, showing his mate the absolute chaos he is causing here, having a great laugh and winning £50 bets. You have to respect such people.
10 million is loose change to someone of his calibre, he can even count all of his toes. What a guy
Also interested in seeing this vid! Can imagine what JP's face was like though
Partridge I actually enjoy it when Mittytentoes posts. It makes me remember that money isn't everything and that even making multi millions on shares won't make you a nicer person. If you are a ***** to start with you will remain a ***** regardless of the amount of 'coin' you have.

Dear me, how the mighty have fallen. Is this what it's come to Exploration, joining in with the playground bullies?
What is it with all the personal insults towards crude?
Give the man a break!
He went to the trouble of doing a video in Morocco to keep us investors in the loop and you are taking the p*ss!
He might have a very different opinion of JP to the rest of us which he freely admits but at least he sticks by his beliefs and has a glass half full attitude. He also doesn't hide behind different user names with hidden agendas like a lot of the very posters who give him stick
If you want to blame someone for the mess at sound blame JP not crude!
I am currently well under water and if i had a dartboard a pic of JPs smug little face would be on it!
I agree with much of what you've written, except this "If you want to blame someone for the mess at sound blame JP not crude"
it's time some people on this BB realised THEY are to blame if they've screwed up an investment / lost money.
looking for someone to blame? look in the mirror!
Just watching the Crudehope video again reminds me how cagey and clueless the Sound BOD is. Broken promise after broken promise, JJ's pouting, gurning and chameleon eyes pointing in all directions. The BOD look as though they are waiting on death row. It was like a scene out of the film, Green Mile.
And Parsons' manner when Crude went up to him with the camera said it all for me. It was like he was thinking, you've interrupted me, can you leave me alone and let me continue my chat with SD. Embarrassing to say the least.
We're going long. End of. It's written all over JJ's face. Going long means one thing for them and that is more money in their pocket. Why would they do anything else? Parsons gets to crawl out of the back door whilst JJ becomes the new CEO and increases his wage. The conversations they were having back then are the very same conversations we are having today. What is the Plan B? Where is the GSA?
So not impressed even if hindsight is a wonderful thing.
JTF
Crude is not to blame. Take your frustrations out on the incompetent SOU BOD. The squeaks that are coming out of them back then are the same squeaks that we hear as of late. There still exists so much uncertainty and we PI's have been kept out of the loop big time.
Crude is a glass half full type of man and he won't change. I realise that his uber positive attitude offends many on here, but you have to remember that he has already done well out of SOU and used some money to pay off his mortgage. Why would he be anything but elated every time he sees his loyal Master, Parsons? His tail is not going to stop wagging even if we have to go long because he'll always put a positive spin on things. That's Kirk. There are plenty of others on here that don't share his optimism or positivity, which is fair enough. We are all wired differently and have differing views. Deal with it.
I agree partly with what you say ktf-
I know buying shares is a gamble and you take this at your own risk however i feel that JP has stepped way out of line with his mega ramping of 10 bagger, golden tickets, 4 figures wont cut it, veyron zone, no one will lose out at these levels, many many multiples ect ect ect
I am currently down on HUR. I bought shares and they are worth less than i paid for them and i accept this. The difference is HUR CEO hasn't been making wild claims and promises
I think most of us bought shares here based on the claims of Parsons and the hyping that was going on for a long period of time with all of the various investor events. I believe Parsons was hoping we'd hit gas and was determined to keep investors sticky to the share. With the poor results we've had as of late, his plan has seemed to have backfired and left egg on his face. It was as if he said to B, you concentrate on finding me the gas and I'll concentrate on keeping the investors interested. Hence why we were all gouging on free beers, buffets and Haribos at posh venues such as The Gherkin and The Shard. The only thing that can save his reputation now is delivering us a successful LE, which I have defined as circa £1 per share. Only then will he be forgiven it seems. No pressure then!
Agree totally JTF.
Our lord JP is guilty of being over zealous with his hype and I bet he is feeling embarrassed. As you say if he delivers an LE which matches his promise that 'no one will lose out at these levels' then I think he can rescue his reputation.
GLA
Well said Andy.
If anybody thinks we only have ourselves to blame then I disagree. We made our investment decisions mainly based on what Parsons et al were telling us to our faces over a long period of time. If you can't believe what a CEO says to you then who or what are you to believe? I don't make the rules, I am not party to the fine detail but when a CEO looks at me and in earnest tells me that he is going to leave a financial legacy for me and my family then I believed him. What I was unaware of up until recent times is that all along the guy had been winging it and was hitting and hoping he'd stumble across copious amount of gas. Well that hasn't happened despite their continued claims there is oodles of TCF's under our acreage. I hope he realises that he has upset, frustrated and left a lot of good, honest, hardworking people between a rock and a hard place - or in my case, a fritter and a chip shop. Cheers mate. And the irony of the situation is that should he deliver us a decent enough LE then the past would be fairly quickly erased because I like to judge people on their results and not hearsay. Simples....if he delivers us a decent result then fair play. His reputation would be restored and we can all move on from this feeling better about ourselves and our finances. I've learnt nothing from this experience other than to never ever believe anything a CEO tells you. In this case, doing your own research would have got you nowhere fast because throughout the process we were fed overinflated figures coupled with overinflated promises and egos. The only thing that has been overinflated has been the wages they have paid themselves as we have become poorer and angrier. The clock is ticking and we're fast approaching end of year. Let's see if Parsons can do one thing right and that is to get us a deal that will see us get our money back with some profit. Is that asking too much for years and years of being told about 31TCF and financial legacies, not to mention Bugatti Veyrons.
