Off the 15.74 in March, if we hit it?
I don't think so. It's not looking oversold either to me, but I'd appreciate others' opinions as I'm looking to get back in now.
Personally, I think 13 might be on the cards, which would do nicely.
As I've said previously, this is a trading share now, as far as I'm concerned and I don't care if there's a bid while I'm out.
It tends to bounce when the likes of the chinese want a few million.... just like the last move from 15.5p to 19.5p. Like I said a while ago, there's a clear trend of 'drifting' lower on low volume and moving higher on high volume.
The curious thing is... if you were Chinese entity and knew you were going into a JV deal on ENSA, would you buy SOLG Equity?? My guess is NO. Unless of course you were covering your basis against a potential counter offer from someone like BHP? Or... the other scenario... you don't intend to get involved in JV's and instead intend to buy the entire business. Then I guess buying the equity makes sense. Personally I think the Chinese equity position allows them to 'win' even if they fail on a takeover as they'll profit nicely on that 6%+ holding.
Going to be interesting to see what Newmont's plans are for SOLG's 10% stake. If they don't like BHP... maybe they will sell it to the chinese? Or just hang onto it and await the sale process?
Cheers, Fort. Personally I agree with your "they're just cheap shares" type sentiment.
Fort another blockbuster.
"Like I said a while ago, there's a clear trend of 'drifting' lower on low volume and moving higher on high volume."
No sh**t sherlock. Never would of thought that.
Thank god your hear to enlighten us.
Not overly important but we were told the new website would be launched towards the end of the month…. Let’s see
Wonder when XIB start to close short position.
Someone ask Bob to take a walk past the hotdog stand on the same street Maxit office is on to find out lol
Personally I'm expecting Bob/Maxit et all to line their pockets with a. cheap placing a month or so before any agreed takeover or asset sale. Why?? Because for some reason I get the feeling that 'they' the old CGP bunch think those shares are 'their own' and as such they fully intend to place them to their benefit. lets face it... if the takeover is coming and they know it.... do you really think these guys are the types to pass up on issuing themselves 100m shares at 17p just before they accept an offer 50p??
I know it's out of order etc but what would you do if you were them and SOLG's cash balance was running low... which it will be come Dec. Auditors will want at least 6 months working capital before signing off accounts in Dec. Scott says that SOLG have 12months finance in place but the caveat on that is it includes the issue of 100m shares or $25m raise.
I think these guys are well and truly out for themselves and if pi's tag along... then all should do very well. But some (like Scott) are already doing way way better than they were when at CGP... they are significantly richer. Now they just have to enact the monetisation event. But may as well profit from the 100m CGP shares along the way eh?? Cynical I know.... but money is a filthy and greedy business.
Drake your posts are not even worth the time to read any longer , it seems as if you are trying to convince yourself. Take time out chap , stop embarrassing yourself.
Unfortunately fort ….. you’ll get shot down repeatedly but those who do it simply never give an alternative argument.
Simply criticising seems to be enough these days . Keep fighting the good fight we’ll get there
What's the argument Dreamer? I see 16p , what do you see?
That's much better, all signs of disease have disappeared...🚀🚀🚀
Creeping back novice. No pride???????
Dbw. Not sure, if you got the post as to why you get shot down. Obviously somebody doesn't like facts getting in the way of opinions.
No matter it makes not a scrap of difference to the facts, even if one line Charlie is back
