Ita not much comfort that the Chinese and institution's have bought shares here.
With small caps they get it wrong just as often as retail.
They bought at 32p and more recently at 16p levels through placings. Why wouldn't they mop up some stock in the 14's?? Unless of course their hands are tied due to insider knowledge?
The share price is now in a zone whereby some on sidelines might start to get their tackle oot. If you're not a buyer at 14's then I guess you'll never be a buyer.
It really is diabolical that the company does not make some form of statement to explain the situation or update.

It’s a guessing game how low it can go here, without news the price drifts ….. people get nervous….. some sell ….. almost a self fulfilling prophecy.
You’d have thought Solgold would have worked that out by now
Market re-rate in process it appears
I'm not the one trying to spread their ideas here, slug. This is the Solg board. It isn't my job to teach you basic scientific research skills, and it isn't your responsibility to stop me or anyone else being a 'sheeple'. Please stop spamming this board with insane, easily disprovable conspiracy theories about climate, vaccines etc
Thanks to those who responded to my friend's view of pre-packed administration. I am glad that there was no acceptance of his view but remain worried about the direction of the price. Shall I catch the falling knife or stick is now the big question for me,
I wouldn't be bothered about insiders, but I am surprised that the likes of Norges, Blackrock et al have not been buying into recent dips. They know that dilution events have passed. They know the likely intended SR outcome. So why would Norges buy close to 3%+ at averages near 30p and then sit on their hands when price has halved?
Mind boggles. The ARB boys are having a free run at this and not being met with much resistance.
Minor volumes in grand scheme of things but the drip drip will concern some CGP holders as they are soon to swap CGP shares for SOLG and liquidity doesn't look great here across the pond with buyers absent.
Think SOLG will need to issue an update on the SR before issuing those 550m shares. They need 'new' holders to be holders and not sellers. Perhaps the reason for the slight delays??
Some CGP holders will be seller regardless of what SOLG says as they have been waiting for a liquidity event which has not been possible on CGP TSX.
I just keep buying as and when I can without putting a strain on things, little and often, £1000 about 4mins ago
Tier 1 and this price it’s ridiculous, more bloody patience needed but God it’s trying

Wrong board again, Slug. Keep it to Solgold. And stop embarrassing yourself with easily disprovable conspiracy theories. I don't know why you have a chip on your shoulder about scientists, maybe you're jealous of their intelligence, but they are not out to get you. Calm down a bit

I think you could be on to something there lol
Lol.. planet
Monte...the 'plant' is probably cannabis or magic mushrooms...
In case anyone is wondering why management isn't supporting the price with buys, they can't.
1 Its a 'closed period' (30 days before the MD&A)
2 It theres anything else material going on, such as a prospective bid for the company, they would be trading on inside information...
And if you think thats frustrating for us, imagine how frustrating it must be for them, seeing the SP at its second lowest since March 2020 (COVID bottom)...
With all due respect, what plant are those people on who think solg should take this to production?
Would you seriously let them organise a kiddys birthday bash?
How much do you bet they would get the day wrong?
Chinese bought a wedge at 32p and more gently at 16p. Let's hope their investment skill doesn't repeat itself or else we'll be at 8p soon.
Volume is pony and that's the good news on this latest drift into the 14's.If volume was larger then I might raise an eye lid.
Next week will come. That's a fact. I can't state news will come 'as a fact' but I'm pretty sure of it. That's all I can say. I've bought more stock recently and happy to add on weakness or as opportunities present themselves. Only one way CGP holders are going to get their payday and that's through a major monetisation event that is related to SOLG shares. Need to get those shares issued first before the SOLG BoD's go wax lyrical.
The fact that fawzi is payed 400k shows you how useless and complicit the non exec's and the chairman are. That should tell us all we need to know about how solg has been run. Life style, old boys club .
And there was I thinking I had called the bottom when I bought the wife's last lot at 15.79...
All seems a long time ago...
PS For those that are seriously scared, remind yourself that one of the biggest Chinese State owned copper companies bought a 6.3% stake only weeks before the new Sino Ecuador Trade Agreement was signed...
Jiangxi Market Cap £35 billion
Chinese Stock Market Mcap $12.2 TRILLION
Jiangxi's investment in Solgold £18 million...
And remember they previously dipped their toes with Valuestone and all the DD they must have done before they bought their latest stake (not to mention Osisisko's...valuing the gross ore produced at $8.3 billion))
Now why would they bother...?
Has responded to my emails as follows:
"Thank you for highlighting the below and for you emails earlier this week. I want to acknowledge that these are being read."
I copied DG1's 49 times recommended 'communications' post from today.
Frankly I don't envy Fawzi ATMO (except his $400k a year).
He will have his hands full with the merger stuff; the MD&A (Feb 14), keeping up to date with our grief; and anything relevant to do with the takeover bid....
Talatum...your friend is a fool or deliberately winding you up...
He wasn't a SXX investor by any chance...?
The problem here is that while nothing is happening theres understandably fear and unfounded speculation...
My Solg, my Solg, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? O my Solg, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and am not silent. Yet you are enthroned as the Only one!
our management can not deliver any of this and the markets know it.... they also seem to doubt our ability to get our act together and offload it at a profit
Talatum, how does your friend square his/her predicted outcome with Sangha (a key player in the SR) looking to screw the big players out of Cascabel ownership altogether?
I still think there is no way in hell he does that interview in the AFR without being supremely confident of being able to monetise Cascabel. As another investor quipped to me the other day, I just hope the number starts with a 3.
The words of HH on Twitter RE the merger completion delay have alleviated some of my concern here. The market clearly not impressed though.
we are supposed to be over a year in to the construction of the mine according to that

'You cannot honestly think that Nick would accept anywhere near 30p...or for that matter the CGP Directors who said CGP was worth $12.50/share'
If that is all that is offered they will have no choice....
Continuing themselves is simply not seen as viable.... the market has no belief in Solgs ability to progress the asset... non at all... and why would they... they fail to deliver at every milestone, and have got nowhere. Nobody genuinely believes this set of management could deliver a giant underground block cave in a risky jurisdiction, with no income to pad any inevitable overspend....
They will accept 30p if no better offers are around.. the alternative is endless dilution, delays, government change risk and Sirius....

page 25 of the above shows our total lack of progress perfectly
