Glas was arrested hours after he was granted asylum by Mexican President Obrador (Had sought asylum since Dec 23). Checkered history for corruption, bribery, graft & narco links. Spent time in prison and Ecuadorean judge Curipallo released Glas in 2022 from prison What is interesting is that this same judge is now in custody to respond to bribery charges related to favourable narco sentences. Glas was meant to be appear in court to respond to corruption allegations in Dec 23. And decided to seek refuge as he had personal ties to Obrador
The Mexican drug cartels are entrenched in Ecuadorean politics. It is well documented that the Sinaloa Cartel formed a group called The Choneros (El Chapo) and extended their web of crime into Ecuador amongst others. With time the CJNG group was formed in 2020 and made alliances with Ecuadorian narco gangs Los Lobos, Los Pipos, Los Tiguerones & Los Chone Killers. It is in 2023 when the Ecuadorian presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio was assassinated by Mexican cartel narco gangs in Ecuador. Why? Because this candidate denounced that Mexican president Obrador should stand up to the Mexican drug lords and that Ecuador was suffering for Cocaine it did not produce nor own and run by foreign mafias. Villavicencio stated that narcos funded Mexican politics. Ecuador is a perfect target for the cartel according to local analysis because of weak governments and a dollarised economy which allowed them to launder $. Just before Glas went to the Mexican embassy, assassinated Villavicension’s daughter openly told Mexican P Obrador to wash his mouth and to never speak about her father. Obrador suggested her father was assassinated to thwart the Correista candidate’s chance to win the elections.
In conclusion: The world has no idea what Noboa’s government knows about Glas. Probably some Mexican politicians are worried, including Obrador? Given his personal ties with the Mexican president and political elite which could all be funded with narco $.
The NI 43-101 clearly stated the EIA will be finalised “in the coming months” and the quick follow on is the EA. The Chinese are used to investing in places like Afghanistan. So I can’t see why they would stop their very long term plan to guarantee essential industrial metal supplies decades into the future. Plus their incredible appetite to accumulate gold reserves. Solgold’s political/social is no different to many frontier markets. $Solg is in advanced negotiations. Noboa can be accused of infringing conventions, but I am pretty sure he will be briefing the world with some very good evidence. High level crime with many bloodied hands can’t lightly seek asylum. Narco terrorism is scary. Embassies around the world have been target. Missiles directed at some for hosting terrorists. Noboa has to be pardoned but Ecuador is in a state of emergency. They must have something on Glas and Mexican political elites. Time will tell.
Dbh. I wonder why you don't have a wife.
Strange that.

Should be an interesting day. Bagging SOLG at sub 10p in the ISA seems unreal when the last year it was 22p/24p ranges.
Alot of cash on the sidelines waiting for this op imho. Lets see what happens. Could be a very large volume day.
Needalife as I have no wife, you need serious help as you obviously have mental issues and delusions of grandeur. The best place for you is the green bin so bye bye
Just read this in the Australian.
" said Mexico plans to challenge the raid Monday at the World Court in The Hague. She added that 18 countries in Latin America, 20 in Europe and the Organization of American States have backed Mexico on the issue."
I've just emailed the 18 Latin American countries, the 20 European countries, the United Nations and the organization of American States.
I've informed them, there making something of nothing.
I've forwarded adikt and 1984s posts, to confirm its a storm in a tea cup.
thank goodness. I was beginning to think the world was turning against Ecuador.

1984. Told you yesterday. Not selling, expecting a modest profit.
Just saying, the embassy debacle, doesn't do confidence in ecuador any good.
And no amount of denial or abuse, alters the facts.
And as for mrtip.
Thou protestus to much.
Your indignation is sweet.
But non the less guilty as charged
Me too! Hoping for a slight retrace to around 9p in the morning so I can buy another 100k of these little beauties:)
Sell your shares then. I’ll be lapping up any that idiots relinquish in the morning
Adikt. Once again your naivety amazes me.
Your usual reply to any negativity is astounding.
If you think the illegal armed raid on a foreign embassy and the removal of someone who has legal asylum, will not cross the minds of any potential investers, then you are clearly clueless.
Read this report saying the United nations have voiced concern.
"Mexico decried the raid as “an outrage against international law,” while the United Nations voiced concern. Under diplomatic norms, embassies are generally considered protected spaces"
Your clear obsession with responding storm in the teacup, bbc bias to anything negative is hilarious
It’s frustrating mrprt but just rise above it, those who know don’t lend any credence to stupid allegations
There is a clown on here that thinks I hate women and blacks and that my right wing opinions are to be quashed and cancelled because he disagrees with them.
People will always lie and stir the brown stuff on here for a reaction but stay focused as we are into the business end of this tedious investment
Eyes down for a dip and happy new ISA bargain in the morning 🤑
A quick look at the board and can see the attention seeking needless or should I say pointless have taken the place over again. Lots of green and replies. So sad.
Glad I’ve been out enjoying some rare sunshine!
Mrprt…. I’ve no idea what he said as I can’t read it …. Unfortunately I can see the replies 🎣
Evening Tesla. EV sales slumped a percent year on year whilst petrol sales surged to a 9% greater share
Two year old Porsche Taycan, £120k new. Even Porsche dealers won’t take it second hand and the buyers that do want it offering £41k
Oh dear, a disaster it seems only I saw coming!
Whereas you suck up to the 💩 s like byronramperbaygold who got caught lying about his holding but because he ramps all day long that suits your narrative on here.
What a hypocrite……
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Add, I am not worried about Mexico attacking Ecuador. We have bigger worries with Scott at the helm of Solg. Things will get dragged out forever while he gorges himself at the trough.
mrprt surely you’ve been around long enough to know how ****s like him operate. the put something untrue or stupid out there hoping someone will bite thereby ending any focused discussion. seems to have worked.
Nobody gives a sheet mrprt you act as if anyone cares buddy move on I think the sane 99.9% here are fully capable of making up our own minds and you should be comfortable with that 😉
If your friends are questioning your integrity based upon the posts of some bogan moron on here, I'd suggest finding new friends.
Are you worried, Eloro?
Guys, this Muppet think that we only need to start worrying if Mexico moves its military/navy to invade Ecuador. Until that happens, its businesses as usual.
Paddy, apart from them grabbing a corrupt former vice president, has anything else happened? Sure, they did it illegally, but at least it demonstrates Nobby's determination to clean up politics.
