It's not what I want DBW. For what it's worth, I want to see a house of all parties that drives the hardest bargain and delivers as well as it can for the UK, a house that rids itself of self-interest and substandard public service levels.
It's not so much about party politics for me but I'll freely admit that Starmer has more than his share of faults. He's going to be inheriting the keys to a pretty broken country and I don't envy the job he'll have to do to try and forge some progress.
For some ardent tories I expect he'll show an improvement on the recent governments and that's in spite of the fact he'll not get everything right.
But personally speaking, this election ought to put to bed an episode that started with the fairly meagre mismanagement of Cameron and Osborne and developed into the rudderless wandering of May before progressing to the devious sack that was Boris.
More than anything, I wish the British people would see frauds for what they are. Making I'm asking for too much there though...
That's why he's filtered...
Hi Bozi
I’m sure the conservatives will lose the next election but if you want to see the back of the tories for a generation then you’re clearly betting against Starmer too …… unless of course you consider him a socialist which he clearly isn’t?
1984 - you forgot the tories being banished into a generation of irrelevance.
Happy New Year indeed.
Agreed addick there is no issue here whatsoever just takes time to bring the conclusion to a head I am obviously annoyed at the timescales however there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it other than sell up and move on which I’m sure for the majority of us here is not an option as in the scheme of things I believe we are closer to zero hour than ever before and the big boy money makers are really playing a blinder with moving these golden tickets into the hands of big institutions but that ain’t happening here. We saw what happened on the 27th when clearly the usual gang were on their hols and up we jumped 37% and that was not down to coincidence!
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
Once again today why oh why for the love of ada do posters keep replying to and extending the airtime that needylife gets and generates I for one do not condone or believe in filtering other posters as we should all be allowed to post our views but in essence let their posts just disappear they are extremely repetitive and boring and like mine offer absolutely nothing new to what is going on here
Happy new year to all except Quady and the electric car dunce. Some predictions/hopes for 24
Rerate to 20s ahead of PFS3
First bid to come from the chinks circa 40p
Counter bids to drive the price up
Wokery begins to be dismantled
Quady drops dead after a bout of covid, and nobody cares
Trump breezes into the whitehouse
And it’s goodbye from me, tomorrow I am returning to full time day trading which requires a laser like focus. No time for silly bulletin boards full of w⚓️s
All the best to the genuine holders, don’t let the wind-up merchants grind you down
Eloro tells us we're in a calamitous situation. Am I the only person who doesn't see it that way? Or is he losing the plot?
Woo is me, BBG and Lord Braggart have filtered me!! Whatever will become of me? I think I will have to join Dame Esther and fly to Switzerland to promptly end my days:) NOT:)
BBG, what did Darth Sideous say..
BBG, what did Darth Sideous, I can feel your anger:) nothing I posted here caused the SP to plunge (I like that word) from 40p to 6p+. Neither did my posts caused the failure to secure the much anticipated bid prior to the 2023 agm. I think you should direct your ire towards the person responsible for the calamitous situation solg currently finds itself in, and that's not me. I just have this nagging feeling that we will get to the December 2024 with nowt by way of a bid, nor jv of the other concessions. My posting that doesn't mean it will be my fault if that's where we find ourselves by the next agm. As for the colourful appellative which you have assigned to me, I think you have been looking at your face for far too long which inspired that name in your mind. Its a description of your face:)
Let us see what happens during Q1. I expect a raise, and delayed publication of the phased plan. As for the SR, I think I will be drawing my pension by the time that is concluded! Worst of all, I fear that some of you angry posters in your 70s might not be around for the end of this saga. But then, Ecuador might decide to emulate Panama and put us out of our misery sooner than expected.
Happy new year bnc and all real investors here.
Sorry for poking the green box thing but it’s more fun than reading its tripe.
Oh god I hoped the vermin was dying out after the disappearing green boxes over Christmas. (The boxes were there and then disappeared) but they appear to be breeding, god knows what with.
So the invasive species the great green box galah known as kalaneedabari, needsapoke, needsabra, needsabraincell, needsawoman, needsomething, needsarealitycheck, needsaboyfreind, needsawife lives on. Bitter as fook and heavens why it’s invested here if all is so awful.
Hoping 2024 brings an end to this logjam.
I the meantime I’m enjoying taking the mick out of the p…. the galah!
All the best BNC. Good to see you're still popping in... Big year ahead mate!!!
Eloro,
The article was from 6 months ago. We have support from government. Your bs this morning about not having support is completely toss.
Unfortunately you have passed the twat test and so therefore you're going onto the filtered list with our other resident pelican Needabrain.
Ps Kalneedabari :
“3 years ago = 36 moons”.
Get it right please. The lunar cycle is every 28 days (4weeks) not each calendar month.
Over a 3 year period 156 / 4 = 39 moons
7 years of your life.
7 years of the infesters being wiser than you.
Just two of your blockbuster predictions 7 years ago
Mather knows best... He was sacked. And
£1 a share imminent...... Now 9p
7 years.
Posting old articles again BBG, while ignoring the 40%+ fall in the SP from July to December? I don't have to say anything negative, Scott have already set the negative trend with his stewardship of the company while the SP plunged! I sincerely hope that your faith in Scott will not proved to be unfounded when we get to the December 2024 agm.
Thanks for reminding us Kalneedabari some very important lessons for you within them. Though I say so myself, I thought the Macbeth analogy was quite good.
If only you could spend the time you take studying my past wisdom - by sharing facts about our rare, tier 1 asset, which will this year be bought by the Chinese, instead of your postings of shame which merely pick out good posters’ comments, with the purpose of antagonism, disruption and disharmony.
Have a nice day on the beach Kalneedabari….. and watch out for those spiders.
Add - you won't get anything constructive out of Eloro now. Very much on the wind up since his rebellious vote at the AGM was so unceremoniously kicked into touch.
Your post earlier today was spot on, and said better than I ever could. Glad you addressed what could only be described as a poor take of the current situation.
BnC,
Happy New Year and best wishes for a healthy and proficuous 2024 to you and the few decent posters.
May we finally see the outcome we have aimed for.
TheItalian
Dbw, Add, Bnc, agree with all points and especially yours Bnc.
Personally, I remain optimistic of a good outcome in '24 here as SCs done all the ground work now and I think interested parties will now be drawing their DD to a close. A new supportive administration has also been a big win in recent months. There's also no doubt that falling interest rates and a stronger metals market will lift all boats in our sector so IMHO '24 will look very different to '23 and as we can see from the sp on the 27th, this can move fast.
All the very best and let's hope '24 is finally our year. C
