Yep - it has misinterpreted the agreement
This article is nonsense. $3.2bn investment from the government? Really?
It needs more than a hatrick...over 40% down on 6 months
Will SOLG go for a hatrick this week and release 3rd RNS tomorrow?
Not sure it's wise to overfeed those that have been starved for a long time.
Might get bloat problems.

Broadly in agreement Quady but we should close immigration for now. You canāt grow an economy with millions of unskilled workers who are a net drain on the economy
We need to be pro business to attract investment In good quality jobs for skilled people that net contribute instead
Oh and if hunt is looking for efficiencies in the NHS, thereās Ā£40m a year worth of diversity officers to swing the axe at
Just bought another 142,178 and I'll continue to add.
I see the mmās needed some shares, paying more for a sell at the same time of buys, this is ready to keep climbing.
Slug this has nothing to do with Socialist v Capitalist arguments, I stopped arguing that in my early 20's.
I am not a Socialist or a Capitalist.
I believe in a society that rewards work, and allows people onto the property ladder.
What they should have done, is announced Infrastructure changes in training engineers, plumbers, bricklayers, carpenters, plasters ETC.
We also need a social house building project, as house builders are never going to build the houses this country requires.
Z, sadly not, was stuck with a client until half 6 in the end. I did tune into the webinar and was fairly non-plussed. My takeaways were to expect more delays before first ore and to not buy any more shares until we've played our hand, which inevitably will involve more equity.
Apols for off topic.
IMO the phrase " Led By" refers to the fact that Scott is the CEO whereas in the context of the article the other signatories were representatives or had other non CEO roles within their organisations
Agree with you Quady, as a contractor not only was I left out of the furlough scheme completely when others were handed 30k to sit behind the sofa, I was then whacked with a 6% rise in corporation tax and a 1% rise in dividend tax whilst the permies who got the 30k handouts enjoy a second 2% NI cut in a matter months
This socialist, anti business government needs to go
Step forward Zippy, he famed for letting Jimmy Savile off the hook, to show us the other cheek of the same socialist backside
Massive interfering nanny state wasting all of our cash seems relentless now
Pleased it's good news here, just listened to possibly the worst budget ever.
Completely useless government, doesn't understand what a tax cut is.
They have managed to raise taxes in real terms, also cut public services further, do nothing on housing, and pretend taxes are coming down.
Worst most incompetent government in history.
8.15, didn't expect that much of a jump today to be honest, its almost as if they have a fair few RNS's loaded in the system and ready to go šš
Sharket... I obviously agree itās positive news, but am more questioning whether or not it warrants a near 25% increase to the SP (albeit from a stupidly low level). I donāt think the trashed share price was a result of any concern over mining jurisdiction/ Naboa issues. Those have always been in play here, even pre Lasso. Yes, itās good to know heās onside, but I felt the lack of a clear strategy, direction on funding, or takeover news, was why we were as low as we were. None of those things have changed yet. But Iām not complaining, or peeing on anyoneās chips here, long may it continue.
Now thereās a wāļø I thought weād seen the last of!
Only another 400% to goā¦.
SM- did you manage to attend last night?
Z
ToS, I disagree - this is the first time we've been given firm assurance that Naboa is onside. Ecuador is open for mining and Cascabel is the jewel in the crown. This is excellent news for us and a long overdue re-rate.
ToS, the seller who was peppering the ask with 27/28k sells has finally beggered off today so could be a double whammy effect
Pbow - thank you, a very fair point about ENSA.
Also the "on behalf of SolGold plc and SolGold Finance AG" bit in RNS - i.e. who will be backing this via the Finance AG vehicle.
Interesting times.
Markets opening over the pond seems to be propelling us towards the leaderboard. Itās been a very long time since that happened, there has to be more news incoming. For me, todayās RNS doesnāt justify this. But what do I know. Ever the pessimist (sorry folks, itās just a LTH Solg thing) I really hope this isnāt another false dawn.
Vol 21m , rerate on the cards, double figures for sp
Based on the Spanish I read it as referring to the fact that its not actually Solgold that owns Cascabel. Solgold owns 100% of ENSA which in turn owns Cascabel. As such it is the leader. Im not sure if the other examples are the same.
Stop spreading unfounded rumours!
