Easy there Redknight1, check your facts a bit. No humble pie for me: I'm still correct. Yesterday when I forecast the year I said we might well have a new CEO by the '23 AGM, and a couple of new CFOs. We're there on one of those predictions, and I'm confident we'll get there on the other.
As far as everything else I said, I'm still correct. No re-rate. No takeover. Not getting out of the 30s. Senior managers at BHP still not caring what happens at Solgold, as it's a drop-in-the-ocean investment... So why am I eating humble pie? Because the same echo chamber members here still say this means there is going to be a sale? That's the exact narrative I was countering yesterday!
Do love Greggs though- no problems there.
Quady's ego has kicked into overdrive this morning.
DC unexepectedly leaves and what's more important to Quady is nitpicking the views of other posters because he's miffed he didn't call it.
Give it a rest, your bitter mean spiritedness is on show for all to see.
Cornerstone has taken over the running of the company on the cheap today, I bet BHP wish they had thought of that.
£1.25 gets to me a VERY nice round number exit Lolzzz ;)) see you there
Novice hi,
That basically means you are going nowhere, because he is certainly not......:)
NM is Mr. SolGold, like or not,....
ATB.
Same here novice ,and he won't go for nothing £1:32 my guess
Like I've always said I go when NM goes, and that still stands ;))
NM is still the top dog .....whatever or near enough he wants, he gets.....:)
ColonelDrake post below it clearly says that Darryl will go after the strategic review. He is 100% wrong.
I think Darryl's expertise has been more than useful and Porvenir PEA could be quite exciting - it might even look like a 25% sized version of Alpala but easier to mine with lower Capex and faster ROI. I fully expect Porvenir to follow in foot steps of Lundin's Mirador and deliver production revenue well before Alpala. But that's a story for another company as SOLG will be sold soon. And once the strategic review results has been revealed, I fully expect Darryl to walk or be pushed as he's no longer needed. It becomes a CGP / Mather show there on. And those boys want nothing less than 80p+ imho. We might see two deals, one for Alpala circa 65p and Porvenir/rest of folio for 20p to 25p to Valuestone/lundin group/coldelco etc (the southern folio).
No probs SM we're in at sub 10p
As Sherlock would say:-
The Games afoot!
mister, Twigger is a corporate financier and has all of the necessary skills to deliver a sale.
On the upside, we won't have to pay $1m per annum to DC anymore (which he didn't deserve). There's always a silver lining!
How on earth a company is supposed to conduct a strategic review with no permanent CFO or CEO is beyond me- so agree with RK this has Nicks and CGP fingerprints over it.
What will happen I am not sure although my guess is the review is well advanced and the outcome is known.
I fully expect Darryl to walk or be pushed as he's no longer needed. It becomes
Try reading his post again!
Mcadder ...yes
Redknight also reversing his position he said NM was toast when he stepped down as CEO.
Now he is pretending he thinks Mather is in charge.
It's me that has always said NM has influence because of his various holdings totalling near 20%.
Trying to rewrite history.
Playing the man again.
Fort, fair point and I agree.
Rk - on FirstTin - I spoke to their IR guys (was outsourced to an agency) pre IPO. Definitely one to watch. My strategy is to wait until markets go properly caput and then look to take a position when China et al start rebuilding - literally and figuratively - the economy through industry.
Apologies for off topic.
Almost done He says lots of things depending on wherever he is holding or not.
His November 1st post says Darryl will go after the strategic review has been delivered.
It hasn't been delivered.
So something else is happening here.
He is wrong plain and simple.
Problem is people on here don't check.
Bozi....you...have...no...idea...
Wrong end of the stick mate...
This has Nick's fingerprints all over it...
Market doesnt seem too phased.
Now we have a CEO with skin in the game 18ml shares.
Bubble, do you think it could be another bloody nose for bhp?
Quady.
His post reads “walks or pushed”
As I posted a couple of days ago Bubble...Nick has joined Ingo as NEDs of First Tin...1SN...
