Best wishes CW, great to hear they were excepted. Now the extra patients on the pivitiol makes sense now... like I was saying previously if I was a medic and was part of the hospital involved involved in phase II then I would be demanding that it was to available so that I can continue to treat patients while phase III is being worked out... Bingo....
Best wishes CW. Excellent news they've been accepted, and so quickly too. Please keep us updated on their progress.
Yeah it must be. My mother is invested in syn (on my recommendation) So is fairly clued up. Told her to ask as many questions so she did and he said 150 more but as you say could be wrong. Name was chris brearley. Yes from Norwich, it’s starting to take hold here. Couldn’t believe the ques just now at the testing centre.
CW25 sorry to hear that, sending best wishes!
hold4 - RM said been recruiting abut a patient a day since October, so no way there are 150 remaining. Unless it's just a mis-informed staff member who said 150 remaining.
You're Norwich aren't you CW?
Best wishes from Norwich then.
Best wishes CW.
Best wishes - congratulations on their getting into the trial, I hope you get more benefit from SNG001 than you'd planned.
Home trial numbers were 120 for the pilot and then an intention to recruit between 100 and 300 for the pivotal arm depending on the pilot outcome. However, we ought to know if the pilot had been completed or extended.
I wonder if they have to aim at 150 signups to get 120 fully recruited, but maybe clutching at straws a bit there.
Could just be miscommunication, I'm sure everyone's rushed off their feet
Thanks all.
Here’s what it says:
Pilot phase - 100 patients randomised in the hospital setting, 120 patients randomised in the home setting.
Pivotal phase - estimated at an additional 100 to 300 patients per arm, but the actual number will be determined after the data review at the end of the Pilot phase
So we must be on the pivotal phase if they still need 150 more people.
Hope your parents are better soon CW.
Great news CW ....all the very best to you and yours....
GLA
I agree. But maybe it has been extended as per the pivotal trial details in order to get approval rather than a P3 home trial?
Congrats - I hope they don't get the placebo.
"They did say that they need 150 more patients" This is odd - we only needed 130 to begin with...
UPDATE: both parents have been accepted on the trial. They did say that they need 150 more patients to complete the trial. How many did they say we need on the updated pivotal trial?
Wishing your folks a speedy recovery
CW , I hope and trust your parents will fight through this it’s hard on families at this time. Best of luck
Sorry to hear that CW. All the best to your folks.
Thoughts are with you....dam.
CW25 do some research on Vitamin D and Covid. Lots of research showing it reduces severity.
I take 3 days to get into your system so if you get them on it do it quick.
Wishing them a quick recovery CW.
All the best CW lets hope they get they good stuff, both of them
Maybe they can swap the inhalers around each day so they get double the chance lol
Thanks all. Fingers crossed all will be ok.
Ditto cw
