We'll get nothing more than 'progressing well' on P3. I do agree there is a high likelihood of some combination of Home Trial and Active 2 news together.
DPC1825 - they’ll prob just say it progresses well.
The protocol does not get updated regularly and it’s done poorly to be frank. Prof Wilkinson said over 15 sites as at 21 Feb, yet the updated protocol from 03 Mar states eight sites. This kind of thing must not happen.
I can see us getting a quick update to be honest but I can't see the update being anything that we don't already know.
What do we think the chances of getting an update are on P3 with the HT results? And how often do they usually update the clinical trials website (Ad hoc or quarterly for example)? is there any set regime to this?
Caveat 'last update 3rd March 21'. So ignore this.
Matterhorn - ALL UK P3 sites are still recruiting in the UK
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04732949
I've just learned that you guys will know him as Glenonholiday.
Ok, the poster is not a regular but he put a hell of a lot of time and effort into this. down to specific numbers per week for exact hospitals. He even links the source of each confirmation. There are quite a few hospitals on the list that he couldn't find data for or the data he could had not been updated for weeks (sometimes Months) at a time. And Matterhorn, your numbers are close.
Nope
Just had a quick check in to see what’s going on and the arrogant ‘Special One,’ low and behold is at it again.
Total plum.
Matterhorn, you on L2?
Just done the log in and have read the first page.
I think I ll walk my dog
Ah by the way has anyone noticed that we are trying to break 150?
Have fun
Re SG018 UK arm. Original protocol stated 200 patients. We don’t know whether this number has been amended down (or even up which I doubt).
At the end of Jan we had recruited about 40 according to Prof Djukanovic from his interview. Prof Wilkinson said we had 15 sites as at 21 Feb.
I’m not in front of my computer, but from memory predicted around 130 patients towards the end of March which was based on 10 sites. I think. Would need to check.
Oak - has anyone from Reddit any knowledge as to whether we’re still recruiting in the UK?
Everyone's post history is available to see. Feel free to peruse mine ;-)
I'm a deramper because of the inaccurate information you have provided?
Can you reference anything you have actually said to independently audit? Its fairly crucial information your getting wrong if so.
I'm sad to say DPC that my initial memory was a little jaded and the numbers are much higher than that so sorry to disappoint. There are plenty of other threads you can systematically de-ramp so run along, there's a good chap.
My personal "favourite" was when they kept banging about how much Fauci loves sng001 while sharing comments of him talking about direct anti virals soecifically, therefore excluding ifns in those comments.
It wouldn't be the first time that the most "deramping" comments come from the pumpers themselves. It is ridiculous really and has been for some time now
@Oak, again if what you are saying is correct, and we have 50/220 patients completed on UK P3 after 9 weeks (from 14th Jan)
Extrapolating those figures we are still looking at approximately 6 months for recruitment on the UK arm of P3 from today. Noting this calculation completely ignores the drop in UK patient numbers, thus trial patient availability and adversely affect the speed of the trial.
This would be very bleak if what your saying is true Oak!
Schrow123 - re your first question I’d say yes. But, it may not be of any benefit to us if they require any or all findings from ACTIV-2 phase II. Should SG016HOME satisfy all their needs then we may benefit of course. Personally I’ll go for worst case scenario.
Re your second question. You’ve basically answered your question. Exactly that yes.
Guys, it's actually the P3 for UK only not Activ-2 so my apologies. I have asked for the author's permission to put it on here which I can as it's in a google doc file.
Got you, my misunderstanding.
Hypothetically, if what you are saying is correct Oak, and we have 50 patients completed on ACTIV-2 in 9 weeks.
Extrapolating those figures we are looking at another 31 weeks to completion = Approx. 7 months?
Doc, I could be mistaken but I think gggg21 (?) posted the Activ-2 site list around 16th April here...? I saw one recently, 2 sites had been added since previous version, 1 was in LA. May ring a bell with others posters...
Schrow123 - the phase III protocol for non infused agents hasn’t been finalised yet which is why we can’t proceed to phase III, provided we meet the qualifying criteria. The phase III protocol design is dependent on the findings from phase II. Hopefully the findings from SG016HOME will be used to expedite the process.
Oakleaf72 - no worries/rush. Was just wondering. I know I attempted to do the same for the UK leg of SG018. At least I had some data, but had to rely on a few assumptions which kinda broke down at the end due to a lack of info from the published trial protocols. Tricky thing to do.
