Well done to all the long term holders, it’s always a sickening experience when a share has been so high only for it to drop like this for no reason. Right now there are 1000s of PIs closely monitoring sng having sold out at a loss or against their own positive research. All it will take is one big spike in the SP and they will all be queuing up to get back in taking the SP rapidly back up to the £2 mark. The lower it drops the more pressure builds and the higher it will go once it goes. The mm’s and Ii’s know this and they are and will be doing everything they can to increase holdings and bring the price down.
One of the main problems with AIM shares is that due to the small mcap of the company’s ii’s and mm’s can significantly influence the sp as they can hold a large percentage of the shares.
What I think we are seeing here is a one or more large holders are driving the price down buy selling in big chunks, scaring PI’s into selling, enabling them to re-buy at a lower price. In these situations generally only the mm’s and ii’s win. If no PIs sell, the sp goes up and the market manipulators loose.
With so much more news about to drop and all of the excellent research supplied by members of this board, I’m more than happy to close my laptop and ignore the dips and the shakes with the knowledge my money is invested well. The research is sound, the product is good, hold for gold.
Infoking, That is my thoughts as well. And the mm's/II seem to selling/targeting RNS releases preying on PI's that either haven't done the research and/or don't fully understand the rns contents, or are green/new to the stock market.
Yep it’s almost criminal what they are doing. There will be loads of cannon fodder for them to prey on at the moment with the low interest rates and hyped Covid stocks. Trying to play them at their own game usually fails due to the large spread unless you are brave enough to be out for a few days. Best option is to grit ya teeth and hold :)
I also totally have faith in Professors Holgate, Davis and Djukanovic, they have spent so long working/studying Interferon, admittedly was originally for COPD, they are not about to risk it all now, if you have any doubts look at Synairgen website, these people are so professional and dedicated, they have an incredible team. Just so angry now that people are dying again and on ventilators and the UK has SNG001 but it is taking so long to pass all the hurdles, FFS hurry up and get this to the NHS, its almost criminal to see the death numbers creeping up again...
Great post invoking.... I agree, there is definitely a big seller/s... and they've taken down a few less researched PI's with them, sadly. But they can only sell their shares once.... the longer this goes on, the bigger the bounce.
I confess to feeling a little bit sick today (lost £100k of paper profits)... similar feeling to early July and I was badly in the red then.... but I don't think there's much longer to go.
Promised myself not to look at the SP this afternoon.... of course I failed!
£100k?!! How much was your initial investment?
Bunsenburner123..... Ha.... sorry, not £100k loss TODAY, but since the peak of £2.50.... ! Been in since March 32p... then bought on the way up to 75p....down to 32p.... up to £2.38.... down to £1.39 ..... Someone please teach me how to sell!!
Beat me to it - lost £100k today doesn’t anywhere near add up to your previous nonsense fantasy postings on what you hold and most of what you say smells like complete bull lol.
Great Post!
Remember, if the II's do this within the same trading period, selling 500k at x price and buying the 500k back at x price - 10% in the same short time frame, it would not be notifiable as a Tr1.
In effect its glorified money laundering and will result in them holding at a much lower price by averaging down. But remember this only works IF the PI's sell them the shares... PI's Stop selling and the process stops.
The MM's would be happy with this arrangement, as it gives them churn which equals profits.
Dexamethasone has been around since the 50’s and Remdesivir is owned by Gilead who probably have several senators in their back pocket. No great mystery they got fast tracked, certainly not down to them being more efficacious that’s for sure.

Boris said this afternoon they have 30000 ventilators for the NHS (costing £500 million ) what does that tell you?
Thanks all. Capital City, or even better buy into the drops and take the shares off them.
Org30, I agree with Miggy here with the exception of Dexamethasone, the other two are backed by massive pharma’s with lots of influence connections and money.
And how many patients needed ventilators on our trial ? ...... mmm , not adding up here is it ??
Thanks Large Gin... we have similar holdings, but I'm a tad less. Next year sounds like a calm plan!
Good luck to you too.
Meelie ....... I'm in your club ! But let's face it ! It's just numbers at the moment haha. If I told the wife I'd just lost over 100k she would be looking through kitchen draws for a big knife :-). The reality is that this SP is like a cork in a hurricane. My personal view is the vultures know this is good and they are greedy for more PI shares !!!! The Big boys invested circa 2.00 so smell the money. Thats a good enough signal to me :-)....But we follow our own hunches in life. I for one will just dig in a little deeper .
Goose69.... Ha! Luckily I don't have a husband to account to (or to stab me!)... but my daughter keeps looking over my shoulder at the red line going downwards and says "Mum, that doesn't look good".... I just answer "no, not good today, but it'll be fine".... and then close the computer, jump up and change the subject!
Great insightful post Infoking. It really reaffirms why I’m invested here.
Please post this again during the day tomorrow so more people can see it. And any other day when the SP gets attacked.
Meelie .......luckily i don't have to account to the wife... I just don't tell her haha. My entry was a cheeky dabble at 37 but waded in deeper at 65 only to watch it tumble ! Averaged down to .53 and the Friday before manic Monday was waiting for some cash to free up ! Unfortunately I missed a top up at .38......it's disheartening to watch it fall but such is the information being sought by all on here and the 14 years of expertise in SNG I'm confident enough to just hold till the end on this :-) ......105k down one week / 500k up the next ! Who knows eh ? GLA
It seems to me that if, as is highly likely, MM's are manipulating the s.p. downwards then to maximise their returns they must propel the s.p. upwards again at some point, after they have " harvested" the shares of panicked PI's and ill judged stop losses.
The irrationally low s.p.' attracts higher volumes of business from those more astute investors who recognise that whatever the dip, the fundamentals and the potential remain as before.

Just caught the last part of the 10 o'clock news Southampton was mationed covid was it antthing to do with us
No sparkyboy, I just watched it (ITV). They were in a Southampton hospital who were getting more cases and the doctor said they had remdesivir and dexemethosone. Annoying!
