it looks like SLA bought up Bray and Aston's complete disposal.

Hmmmmm. Not sure I either follow or understand the logic of repeating headlines on what has already been reported today on SLA Live RNS on SLA Share Chat.

I’ve noticed buys can outsell sells but share price goes down and vice versa with a lot of shares. There are also a lot of buys today after 16:35 so I’m expecting a rise tomorrow first thing. Like Tune 1 I’m not sure how it works either.
Received my letter today..................... :+)
Despite the very welcome Final Dividend a couple of days ago, I was always under the impression that the Price of a Share is determined by some Investor's desire to purchase; and other Investors to Sell, and it is the movement in the balance between the thinking between these two types of Investors which are reflected in the SP. So can someone (anyone) explain to me why, just looking in isolation at todays trade in SLA Shares, the SP has dropped by nearly 2% when the number of shares purchased were nearly 900,000 more than those sold. Any thoughts, views, opinions etc.would be welcomed.
Some posters on the TECA board like WRES.................
I am hoping that the current lows on the exchanges will last until the money is in my account to invest. I always reinvest dividends but in my chancier AIM shares. Tomorrow it will be in my current favourite, WRES.
On a different tack why do people so seldom post a strong buy message on shares they so obviously have bought and held? Is it self doubt or because the market has left them behind again? That is the trouble with markets...
Tomorrow, not today (unless they have changed it)
Spend it wisely :-) and enjoy life??
Seems we have been trumped again 280 seems a distant memory
Bigger game to Southend
Looking forward to seeing Sunderland ( A big Club ) at the Theatre of broken dreams ( Roots Hall )
We need to win to stay up so a Massive game for the Shrimpers ...
Anyway Standard Life 283p
Slowly Slowly Catchee money
The way my team are playing lately you should coast (apologies for the pun) it! Since we're already in the playoffs, I wish you well.
Yeah I going to Roots Hall ( the theatre of broken dreams) Saturday v Sunderland... Sadly no predictions there Southend have been awful last few months....
Praying we can win and stay up:-)
Afternoon SUFCESSE.
I wish I had your soothsayer skills, as I am quietly impressed with your predictions. I'm a retired Old Git but did double my Investment in February when SLA Shares were at £2.32. So no complaints from me, especially the Dividend due next month which will more than pay for a "Lads Weekend" away somewhere in Europe. All you need to do now, assuming I'm reading your "handle" correctly, is to direct your sage thoughts to ensuring that Southend Utd avoid the drop in to League 2.
Good Day rxdav
Sorry not replying sooner, I be ramping my other shares I've recently investing in
Very content here with my holding looking for 290p within 10 days
Loads of Dividend money been paid in May with FTSE 100 Stocks ( like here )
I am expecting a little Bull run in early May IMHO
Hi SUFCESSEX: Well - who would have thought it eh? - made 280 this week - sure not complaining - next stop 300 - now that would be nice !!
Regards.
Hi Lunatic
Ive used a 15k trading pot just been buying high yield unloved UK stocks paying high yields, so far I've done ok and banked all dividends within a week or so and managed to get my full capital back :-)
Only when the market fair values UK Stocks today the yield returns are good
This has gone back to ex divi price so a very nice little earner.
Afternoon rxdav
Long weekend ahead and any positive finish will do today :-)
280p will be
Morning SUFCESSEX: Well I think it's likely the long weekend effect (a bit slow) but can't see it breaking and holding 280 today - next week yes (love to be proved wrong). However, SLA does seem to have turned a corner - long may it continue eh - would love to see 300 before summer (and early summer at that) !?
IMO
Good Day rxdav
QUOTE ''(is the potential of this Chinese deal just starting to sink in or is it a dawning realisation that just about all UK shares are currently oversold - or maybe both?)''
UNQUOTE
Both IMHO :-)
Could be end of play tomorrow, good news today about China's growth will also help, more in work more pensions etc, drop after ex div nearly regained.
