I know how you feel my original buy in was 74p. I kept buying in small tranches right down to 50p so am in a small bit of profit, hopefully back to a pound soon!!
Good steady increase in the share price over the past 8 weeks or so and finally getting close to my buy in price after the first big drop. I should have bought more when they were in the 40p range......
195k buy
Looks like we have sellers amongst us. C'mon who is it? You know you are not supposed to sell, consider yourself reprimanded, how dare you sell. Still you've got to have a laugh haven't you?
Not exactly surprising, is it? Almost 6(!!!!) months since Armitage announced his strategic review and nothing has been reported to shareholders since. Seriously , how long is required? What on earth is he actually doing? They appear to have a very passive II base , which probably allows him to carry on in this manner
quiet
The odd, small trades ? If they're labelled 'A' most likely done by trading computers
Always a possibility Mr Duck had something to do with it. What other shares do you hold? Know what you are saying about SP recovery long may it continue!
Hawk.....what chances it was Duck...he's quackers! (sorry !).......some strange low volumes being traded not just on this but on others I hold and some day when I grow up to become a mature investor I might understand the rules of the game....maybe not. The joy of seeing this SP recover over the last few weeks soothes the pain of the last number of months....looking forward to the full results in October when hopefully we learn more and seeing further upward momentum in between now and then.
Been here for a lot longer than that Fourier, but I'm happy to be here a lot longer albeit at the much higher price, providing they still pay a good dividend and keep us poor shareholders in the loop as to whats going on. Would also be nice to see the debt levels decreasing at a faster rate.
I'm also pleased to see this going up eventually after holding them since February 2017. (Actually seems a lot longer than that!) Back then I hoped to make a quick profit on them but they languished around 50p for eternity. I can't understand the 36 share sale either. £23.85 less broker fees! Would be nice to know what *really* goes on behind the scenes.
Nice to see the share price resurgence, but who the hell sells 36 shares? Is it some kind of code?
Nice to see Mr Duck is sticking to the task as far as Mr A is concerned, you're right you can't disagree with what he said. As regards dividend are we getting anything this year or not?
Ahhh...you never disappoint.....poor Mr A.....firmly locked in your sights...though I can't disagree to be honest. Not that is unless the SP recovers to somewhere sensible and the dividend continues to be generous. Keep up the pressure.......I enjoy the read.............
haha, you're a cheeky monkey. i'm holding still, so naturally am pleased that the trading statement reads well. however, Armitage needs to reveal the results of this ongoing (5months plus) strategic review. are parts being sold, etc.? it's a long time for investors to wait since it was announced.
Quite agree Hawkspear and I guess you like me will be eagerly awaiting the refreshed update from Mr Duck on this very positive and encouraging news and I would guess a decent dividend to come in Octobers announcement. I did buy more St Ives a couple of weeks ago....guess who is feeling chipper today.....
Good to see a positive RNS, let's hope that this is the start of a great recovery in the fortunes of St Ives, the momentum needs to be a driving force to propel the company forward back towards the £1+ mark. Good for the company and good for shareholders,it's all about positivity and trust.
Any shareholder can be satisfied by his stewardship . He has presided over destruction of value... He hasn't said a word to shareholders in FIVE months about the strategic review - seriously, how long does he need?! He has completely failed shareholders over the past year and still doesn't have a plan to share with us... Armitage doesn't deserve a break
Don't disturb Mr Duck he's sleeping,or else he will go quackers. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit more action soon?
Mr Duck...hope you're well. I see your confidence/optimism was a little shortlived and you have Mr Armitage back in your line of fire.....tongue in cheek answer to your question......I think he strategically reviews things all day....#keepthefaith....this one has legs in it!
Almost 5 months now - what does Armitage actually do ?!
Hopefully the wait will be good news
At st Ives - strategic review announced on the 7th march and still heard nothing!
Why the massive volume , or why the movement? The latter because of the former, but no idea why the former happened today , other than following on from 2.5 million odd trades yesterday
But y ? Last trade was uncrossed, but even so.
