again.... starting to think the 20s aren't out of the question - certainly no support from the incompetent directors
71% of share value wiped out from the previous 12 Month high. Shocking performance all round. We must be due a market update soon...financial year end due at the end of July.
I can't believe the inaction of this bunch of directors
So down yet again - utterly relentless .
Is that the market knows this 'strategic review' is going to be awful and have thus marked the shares down to this level for starters . Still see it going lower - market cap of £45 million is on the horizon, and all because management is truly dire !
The sheer incompetence of the directors is astonishing , I agree. Just staggered that they still have nothing to say after three months with the share price at an all time low! Can't believe that the funds invested in this aren't screaming at Armitage ?! Maybe they are , but seems to have no effect. Can picture him in his bunker surrounded by his fellow muppet directors with not the foggiest what to do .... A market cap of £58 million is awful - a competent team could treble that , I'm sure .
yup Bill, Ernie and the gang doing a great job .... NOT . .. complete muppets..
Put the phone down on you? How come ? I feel left out now - never had the phone put down on me. Plenty going straight to voicemail , mind
About st Ives. Don't make good reading at all. Apparently Armitage refuses to give any comment to them either , so I don't think we should feel left out as shareholders . Down 20% in a calendar week and still nothing . The mms are having a field day
Yeah I'm trying to get out at some point today no reply to my email and reception put the phone down on me
This will be in the 30s later today. There is no support anywhere now - new all time low reached . Management have only had three months to come up with something .... Must need more time.... After all , a quarter of a year is nothing, right?!
Let me know if you get a reply to any of your emails? I have never received a single one. Get the impression they ignore all private shareholders . It's a pity that the institutional shareholders aren't exerting more pressure on the directors .
Hopefully a little increase in the morning because of the big drop then I'm out
This closed at 50.25. Down every trading day since. Almost 20% knocked off the market cap is enormous considering it has been dropping more or less for the past three months. Can see them happily taking this into the 30s tomorrow. The board of directors led by the entirely underwhelming Armitage are absolutely wrecking this company. There is simply no leadership and direction - shareholders are ignored. Really want to see him sacked now. Over three months (!!) since the interims and nothing.... Know I'm repeating myself , but it's terrible. Sadly this is pretty much par the course amongst many listed companies now.
I'm doing it now, hope everyone does the same
Thanks for info will do that tonight, needs to be done. But everyone must do it or it's a waste of time, maybe it's the only way to get their attention?
Down 5% more today - this is just getting ridiculous. Recommend all holders convey your thoughts to Marketing@st-Ives.co.uk There is no dedicated investor relations person there and you'll struggle to find anyone willing to speak to you or return your call. Sadly sums up the company at this present time
I know it's not an ideal situation, can understand your frustrations as mine are similar about this so far inept management but I'm hopeful they will get their act together and sort out the problems within the company. That said I believe that they can or if not a vote of no confidence is the likely outcome. Good luck! What ever you decide to do!
So you think it will drop below 40 this week?
A slight amount of positivity here, things can only get better , etc. . However , they may well get worse before that happens. There is no urgency whatsoever from management to address the issues facing the company . It has been three months since they announced a strategic review , and the only news since then has been of a building sale for £4million odd....! Armitage stated in the interims that the board are acutely aware of how upset shareholders are, etc.... However, what on earth has he done to fix things ?! We are now a sub £60 million m'cap company and still there is silence .... Down almost 20% since the end of May alone! I have no faith in the current BoD at all.
Let's hope so as I'm deciding to hold on to it hopefully there's a bit of news this month
The other way to look at it is although they have debt it is more than adequately serviced. I can only see an improved situation in the future.
Yes I'm here for the long haul,in my experience you tend to lose more money in short term investment. As you rightly say it can go up just as quickly as down
Yeah it's just the company not giving the share holders no news worries me
I got out at 50 after buying in at 74...ouch!,your call but I would get out asap.
