Solid press conference!!!
very positive!!!
Hmmm. Professional call so far.
Ref M&A, they’re saying it will depend on interest rates. PE firms have some powder dry. Some movement in segment, and “fishing” activity in sector currently. Implied they are not interested in targets. Need to get margins in order.
Just how I perceived what was said.
So at one point l was staring at a near £200 loss today, great relief to see a bounce and sell for a £3 profit..Had l waited and sold an hour later my profit would have been.....£647....
Could break above 60 today on this press conference
It's that old market saying - the market looks forward not backwards. And it's not noting a deterioration in business or margins, and more cost cuts to boot. When the inevitable upswing in revenues comes around, the current forecast margins should be in the laughable territory. I think this is what the market is currently digesting.
I'm not saying this will be on a one-way street higher, but it certainly shouldn't at these levels for too long. UK looking likely to cut rates along with ECB next month and the US will probably follow in August. The market will front-run this and IMO, that's what it is slowly reflecting in the SP.
Outsized returns come to those who are patient, not the traders, or investors with a trader mentality!!! IMO.
Happy to keep adding at levels I like and trade some, nip n tuck along way.
Results were what you would expect when mcap so low.
By the time the majority “like” the results very much doubt you will be able to buy much below £1
Strong recovery potential imo
He's an utter waste of space that should really stick to penny stocks.
More likely a sweetened bid approach or recognition by the market that the turned down bid reflects a baseline for this stock- which is much much higher.
You think this may be a pump and dump then..?
Found something I dont like in the results, good luck gguys
Wasn't expecting this! Lucky top up this morning. Excellent. Enjoy the rise folk.
52.41 paid
Well I'm still holding half, so either it goes up or down from here I will be happy
50's paid now..
MildTiger is a well known commodity. Of course, chest thumping when a trade works out and sulk away quietly if it doesn't. I don't care a bit what he writes, but he isn't a macro orientated fundamental investor - it's just pointless noise from my viewpoint and best to ignore.
Wildtiger:
"I bought!"
"I sold!!
2 mins later
"It's only going up becuase of FTSE"
This has got to be the dumbest string I've seen as you're straight up admitting your trade was pure luck then if the rise was unrelated to results 😂
Imagine if everyone posted when they bought/sold though, this board would be totally unreadable. We already have trade data if we need it.
Still alot of uncertainties here, I doubt it will go much higher in the short term. The market wants to see sign of turning, which has not yet happened. This bounce is only due to the strengh of FTSE today.
Literally nobody cares
Easy 8% in 10mins
I meant that the current 6x valuation based on projected 2025 earnings may well be way off the mark if the macro turns. More like 3x multiple and could get us a 3x in 2025. ;-) Olympics and the US elections beckon!!!
Tempoarary trading freeze as the price jumped!!!
Cannot but a single share... nothing offered
Added - let's see the bid coming now.
I didn't buy heavily - nibbled some at 43.65. A drawdown at the open, but we'll see how it trend during the day.
Medium term, the business trajectory is positive as the macro improves for agencies and the sellside's 6x vluation based on 2025 earnings projection may well be off the mark if (when) the macro turns even a bit.
