Shame you could not have made it Reynard as it was eye opening. Regarding Dan spot on. He's a very straight talking down to earth guy and meeting him confirmed to me he genuinely wants a good outcome for shareholders not just in Sefton but in general. He speaks his mind and stands up against those who attempt to deceive and lie for their own personal agendas.
I'm sure you're right IG, I've always felt that Dan only sold his SER shares this time because he felt the negative publicity about himself (unwarranted in my opinion) was beginning to harm the possibility of a successful requisition and, therefore, Sefton's chance of a better future. I have no doubt he remains very interested in seeing a good outcome for all shareholders. Incidentally, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the AGM but distance and work commitments made it impossible. I made sure my yes votes were in early through my broker though. I wish Team Clem, Dan and all shareholders the best. I shall continue to follow SER chats/news on Twitter if this BB disappears.
all of this money left and much already gone was raised by persuading investors to put money into the private placings at what would now look like astral pricings. Those burnt investors will want to see some satisfaction. The current ones in charge also have a huge investment - but where is the rabbit in the hat?
Oh ok thanks IG, I saw that last night on talk about shares dot co dot uk although I thought it was just the page admins AGM review which was still a very good read.
Hi SS good to meet you and other genuine holders yesterday. You have a good one!
Good to hear from you buller Satisfying to read a nice practical and real assessment of the situation with SER. There's been much emphasis on what has happened in the past and very little of proposals for the future. Can't see at all where this is going. Sorry all.
JAS I believe the statement is available on talk about shares dot co dot uk
Hi IG it was great meeting you yesterday i knew none of the coward trolls and their shareholder action group would turn up(all 4 of them),LOL. I'll say hi on twitter follow me so when this board goes down we can keep in touch .Take care and have a great weekend. To all the real pi's have a great weekend .
JAS there will be no updates until such time the team have something material to report. Updates will be made via the Sefton website as I understand it.
Do you fellows know if Clem is planning on putting out an RNS equivalent or a statement/minutes of the AGM ? I know they don't have to as we are a private company now, but it would be a nice read imo. VIVA CLEM! !!
You are correct in that Dan is not a shareholder any more . Genuine nice guy who does have shareholders interests at heart.
SS that post will be removed shortly you wait and see. OBB hotline to Admin. I would think his mate won't be too pleased with his name coming up again and again but it's in black and white. Hard evidence speaks for itself and my eyes don't deceive me. No wonder it upset a few on here when I asked who was Mike. The truth always comes out.
Why is Dan's name keep popping up? I thought he isn't a shareholder or anything to do with Sefton anymore? Or is this another lie all over again?
Arrogant post. I understand perfectly well. What you understand may just be what the old bod fed you...yes! All in my own opinion of course. Also against LSE rules to post in another language ... but you can get the post deleted easily!!
HI Fellows, hope you are all well and the peace and tranquillity of Christmas is filling your hearts with happiness and good thoughts. I have no written for some time, basically because there has been nothing to wrote about and also I need to get off the habit that SER had become and all negativity surrounding maybe the worse horror story in recent listed companies. The film that will feature the ups and mainly downs of this compay will surely surpass Starwars both in numbers of sequels and in takings. So now we have had the AGM (thanks for the updates for those of us who couldnt make it), but was there really any news. I am not sure: The previous management did a bad job, well no surprise there, just see where we are, delisted, no money (very little), no production, no outlook of any deals, no nothing, so no surprise that they were deemed wasteful. We all knew that they were spending loads of money, Rob Shepherd, PR companies, trips to Indonesia, not least legal fees and of course salary for Raylene and maybe others including BMD and don't forget Clem Chambers who was on the board for part of that time where the cash burn has taken place. Did we spend too much? yes, at least when you look at the outcome. Was what was spent criminal? Highly unlikely. Does it pay to spend more money on legal and management time pursuing the people who spent that money? Absolutely not. It seems every new management spend most of the time and money going after the old management and nobody bothers to look forward. Judging from the reports from the AGM far more time was spent on the past than on the future. Yes there was 3 proposals on the table , one which was closing the company with virtually nothing split amongst the shareholders and the other one which was a secret!! The third was vague, uncosted and with no specifications, so to be honest in my view just now there are no concrete proposals out there. I don't blame anyone for this as this company will be extremely difficult to turn around and without the listing and any assets worthwhile one has to ask the question, why bother. Of course I would love to see my shares have a value, even though in my mind I wrote them off long ago but the only bright thing I can see in the company are the tax losses which could be useful for somebody. There is none of the attributes that other companies might be interested in: expertise, brand, assets etc. So I must say I am surprised that Clem &Co are even bothered spending time and probably money on the efforts but for now he has yet over now many months to present one figure or concrete proposal that makes me believe there is a real chance. I remain to be convinced and as always hope to be. Clem is a clever guy and I am sure a good man and I wish him luck , will support his efforts if I can but I don't think we can say that we can see any light at the end of this dark tunnel yet. Let me use this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a success
Nip I couldn't agree more however if I have a pipe that leaks I don't just mop up the mess I also fix the leak! 275k left if they can get 200 back that's still a sizeable amount of cash if syphoned to certain individuals!
True - However, we don't really have much choice! I for one, hope they can turn this around as I also believe there are plenty of holders here that are hoping for the same! Everything crossed for a good outcome.
wouldn't trust anyone and don't get your hopes up to ever see any investment again. As ever us share holders are at the bottom of the feeding chain so we are unlikely to see anything ever again. BMD and the idiot Chris oil basically killed this company off as no NOMAD would touch us after BMD hid his dodgy past and more recently attacked the ex NOMAD of SER.
With all these huge amounts of money alegedly been syphoned out of the company what assurances and processes did Clem give and say the company would change to ensure the new BOD cant give "consultants" etc money that easily with no transparency again?
Just got back in. Part of the plan is to get some of the money back and Clem and mike are quite confident they can recover some of it. They also have legal stuff pending which they couldn't go into detail about because its in the hands of the legal team but they did say it will be very beneficial to the company. I think i can speak for most of the pi's that attended Mike and Clem came across as extremely genuine guys and that IMO they have really got the best intentions to turn this mess around for the benefit of the real pi's .
Diplomatic as ever.... Good for you
That's for sure, far more questions than answers as we stand If anything is going to happen in recovery here (and I'm not saying it will) it will take many many months, and the main question is, how can the new BOD afford it?
Ss not going on about anything re trolls blah blah. But all the bull no plan. Say 500 000 spent the that should not have been. What is the difference. Raylene is an accountant why not sue. Placing why not sue as poor financial advise. Still many questions no answers
All good people here! That's how I see it - Jas, Aston, wassatt SS and IG! I wish you all well.
I will say this, I don't call you a troll because you went to the AGM. As of this moment, I don't have any opinion, until official information is issued or placed in the public domain.
