What an excellent set of posts to kick start the weekend, and at a most pivotal point int he development of Scancell I think. Burble - a most useful round up clearly explained, and complemented by Inanaco's knowledgeable posts too. The two of you have synergy!
bluestockone - does this apply to the other forty or so boards on which you have posted the exact same link? Or are you simply a paid link spreader?
One thing that I hadn't realised was how easy and cheap it is to manufacture a DNA vaccine compared to other types. It also seems easier to achieve the desired purity.
This is surely a big plus for IB in general and particularly Covidity.
To me the most ingenious facet of IB is the dual presentation to the dendritic cells. It's as though the DC says to itself - "eyup 2 people have told me about this antigen, I think I need to get cracking and do something about this".
Also I hadn't realised that amplivant helps the vaccine find its way to the DC.
Thanks Burble and Inan for some great posts.
Co-stimulation is a secondary signal which immune cells rely on to activate an immune response in the presence of an antigen-presenting cell.[1] In the case of T cells, two stimuli are required to fully activate their immune response. During the activation of lymphocytes, co-stimulation is often crucial to the development of an effective immune response. Co-stimulation is required in addition to the antigen-specific signal from their antigen receptors.

Not seen that Ray be interested to find out how that works .. amplivant conjugated peptide being picked up by the DC ... Burble have you a link to that ? ATB
Yes Inan, it also came as a surprise to me. It sounds as though amplivant is more about delivery than anything else. Perhaps it helps to bind strongly to a specific type of DC. The DC then proceeds to ingest the vaccine/antibody. I don't know if it stays attached to the peptide and then also plays a role in the TCell binding and/or activation. Burble may have the answers.
no no amplivant is vital in how the DC encodes the T cells .. however the migration of the peptide i assume via the innate system maybe be also influenced by the adjuvant .. TRL2 conjugated to the peptide
TLRs expressed by immune cells such as dendritic cells (DCs) or macrophages play a key role in innate immunity. They recognize characteristic molecular structures present on the surface of bacteria, called pathogen associated molecular
patterns (PAMPs). Once these PAMPs bind to their receptors, a signaling cascade is triggered that, among others, leads to the activation of cells that initiate a potent acquired immune response.

Yes, that clarifies the main role of amplivant. Perhaps it has a secondary role when the vaccine/antibody comes into contact with a DC.
Hopefully Burble will comment later.
Burble post assists in the peptide migration so it something to do with the way the innate system picks up the peptide and presents to the Dendritic cell ... no antibody involvement ..
Afternoon,
Just catching up.... what a wonderful BB today, long may it continue with Inanaco & Burble and others posting on the science.
Very much appreciated on my part, thank you

Bunsie
YES, sorry I was getting confused with IB.
Let's see what our potato harvester says :-)
Bunsie,
Agree, good to be discussing Scancell - thanks Burble, Ray, Inanaco and all.
Avidmab also can utilise "DAMPS" ... to spark an immune response by releasing DAMPS into the environment
PAMPS and DAMPs both activate similar Pathways of the Innate Immune system
""""Once these PAMPs bind to their receptors, a signaling cascade is triggered that, among others, leads to the activation of cells that initiate a potent acquired immune response."""
Inan,
Where do you find this info and can you expand on it, I am hungry for information and a nice curry tonight though!
ATB
Bunsie
Its really important that investors when looking at Scancell consider secondary effect .. by flipping the environment of cancer to pro inflammatory you are also bringing into play other active members of the immune system
so Avidmab could trigger an adaptive immune response ............... ie The MAB never meets the t cell but activates it via the Molecular damage it causes ...
I read the Beano as a Child ...
Was that dennis the menace or desperate dan, can't remember, haha
talking of Curries ... i tried this place https://www.thai-food-online.co.uk/collections/thai-green-curry-pastes
I tub made 4 frozen meals ......... so spicey i had to dilute each meal by two with a tin of tomatoes and it still makes me sweat and it gets stronger after defrost ........ wow ! what a Taste
Ian,
Well that's just Dandy M8

authentic ... !! cook up some onions with Garlic first then Bake diced chicken after marinade
by the way the Thai online shop ... impressive delivery well packed and on schedule ... worth an order
Absolutely so, thanks Burble/Inanaco and Ray for explaining it so well.
I sure understand it better than I ever have.
Burble, same, looking forward to my curry delivery tonight too, and got a third bottle of Pinot Grigio just in case!!!
Have a great evening guys, superb BB
Yes, second that, thanks to all for their contributions.
Hope everyone enjoys their curries or whatever, their wine or whatever and their spuds of course.
Have a great weekend all.
Evening Ruck,
I am sure we will, thank you, mine has delivered already, no spuds in mine though, that's for the Sunday roast!

Bunsie
Ruck,
What interests me more than anything is that Inanaco and Burble (and others of course) could provide an amazing contribution on the science relating to Scancell going forward, this is IMO essential as without the science contribution we are left with is day trading garbage.
Just my opinion though
