hoping most of sellers now cleared
selling at shares does not make sense some times example ncyt this morning ,when people aware
rns due there if not tomorrow likely Friday with sales of £ millions of testing kits , selling there as seen yesterday then many bought in before close again ,
my hoping most of sellers cleared here at rse
Since my last post, I sold out last Friday and moved it to TXP, which I highly recommend looking at if you haven't seen the company already. They're sitting on a worldly gas reserve find.
I still think there's oil in the tank and agree with previous that oil price is on the up in the long term. Nice organic growth at the moment so I'm sticking around for a bit longer.
Well done - not many left on this board now.
I have decided to hold now at least for the medium term. Most of the Canadian oilers, and presumably US, have recovered substantially all of their losses, and so IMO, the massive write downs will soon be reversed, and the NAV increased substantially. Some commentators say the oil price will be $70 by year end.
had good run here , all cashed in now, putting the profits to good use in the few hours
GLA LTH should do well over the long term
onwards and upwards , they still have a long way to go, imo £3.50 next stop
GLA LTH
being surpassed today not far from 2 bagger now 3.58 will get there imo
GLA LTH patience and another few days will see a nice return, imo
Anyone have the amount still left in the buyback pot?
I'm assuming only about half through currently
Will the 2 mil today be taken out of the 50 mil buy back?
Nice and steady does it £3.20 for Friday finish be just about right
GLA LTH Patience will reward
As the shares in issue decrease the free float gets tighter and pushes the sp up further. They have loads of buying still to do so this could possibly do another 100p
done better than I presumed today, only 5p away from my end of week target, the way its going I might have to revisit the predicted Sp end of the week, £3.50 nearer than I anticipated.
GLA LTH not far from actual 1 Bagger at the moment , I'm tempted to sell when it reaches that and tae a free roll on the rest £3.20 will do it for me
long way to go yet , imo £3.50 within weeks , and then push on to £4, if during that time oil starts a meaningful recovery, hen cant see why it won't go back to £5 range before the end of the year,
GLA LTH looking for £3.20 finish end of week , nice steady rise for patient investors
Onwards and upwards.
Any ideas where this is likely to get to by the time the £50m runs out, anybody.
I thought maybe £4, but just wishful thinking.
Tick up , target £3:50 mid June
GLA LTH patience paying off
Great week onwards to £3:50
GLA LTH
£3 tomorrow then, ?
GLA LTH Nice finish to the week unfolding
Than i anticipated, £3 possibly today,
Nice return from 1.58,
GLA LTH still not selling will hold to at least £3.75-£4
Thnks RS, I am sure your right about the underlying valuation of the RSE portfolio in the last month; but without firm evidence I was being quite conservative. NAV is probably north of £5/share. Wide discounts can continue for a long time though, but shouldn't with the degree of buy back envisaged.
Who knows - maybe breached this week, maybe even today.
With regards to the NAV, Tobin states the market is up 20% since 31/3. I would say the oil sector is up a lot more, particularly American/Canadian companies, some have 2-3 bagged since the lows of mid-March. And the hedge books of some of these companies is very good, particularly Hammerhead, 100% production hedged for 2020 I believe.
Listening to Josef Schacter on Market Call yesterday, he sees a drop in oil prices by July, and then by about October they should be recovering to normality. Who knows.
But while the buy back continues, what's not to like.
Think my £3 target will be breached next week
GLA LTH steady increase in oil price will push it faster, as the World economy starts its slow return to work
nav 31/3 was 4.30. Overall market up 20% since then so NAV maybe £5/share. So still at 40%+ discount. With cash in hand and a buy back policy this share should over perform compared to the market IMO.
Its been a very steady rise over the last week or so, I still think this is under the radar to many!
more share buybacks , taking this to the £3 level ,
GLA , patience being rewarded
As I keep saying this is going over £3 in the next few weeks, easy money to be had here, imo
GLA LTH From 158p a one bagger so far,
