Does it, I reckon £3 isn't too far away , will be the first barrier, then move on to £3.50
GLA LTH if your patient nice earner over the next few weeks, imo
Now at last we can see some decent volume buying, I can see this quickly going above £3 in the coming days , then onwards to £4
GLA LTH I did say you needed patience here, at least 2-3 weeks for a nice return, imo
Today, looks like the Brokers are back on the case,
GLA LTH £3 next stop, imo
There you go a distressed seller shifting a huge amount of shares, thought that was the reason why this hasn't moved as yet, Brokers must have been aware hence very little buying, they have been sitting waiting for the distressed seller to move on,
Now they have gone and directors themselves buying, we might see a positive outcome next week ,
Stay Safe and have a great weekend
GLA
At 2pm approx was obviously a distressed seller
Which would help the brokers looking to buy
However as we have had no RNS update on share buybacks one can assume the Brokers hasn’t been purchasing shares in ang great amount
There still looking to spend the (bulk of the 50 Million £££
GLA next week if they have?? Been buying it will be RNSd
£10 per share? Even if the share price rises to make market cap = NAV as reported at 31st March 2020, the share price would only be £4.22
Of course that assumes that the price of WTI oil stays at the $20.48 that it was at then (today it is at $25.65).
Still, I think it is worth a bit more than its current share price. I bought £25K's worth two days ago at £2.51, mainly as a longer term play on the recovery of oil.
Hopefully the share price will keep on going down over the next few weeks and months to allow the buy backs to generate more value for shareholders - but I suspect it won't.
You spoke too soon - £9m transaction at 2pm
Doesnt seem to have moved the price though
Hi
Yes I think there was talk about that seeking the assets of for a net return of about 650million after all liabilities and with the cash in hand of about 150 million after buyback
Then that could potentially return £10 per share
BWTFDIK
All guesstimating ATM
I see the Brokers must still be Furloughed, not been buying many shares at the moment
Be a rush when they eventually get round to
Very low volume at the minute
Think it might be a couple of weeks yet
GLA Have a great weekend everyone enjoy the sunshine while we can
Hi All, new to this board and started reading up Riverstone yesterday following initial interest.
Given that this company is quite different in structure to a share, can someone shed any light for me on the the proposal to liquidate the company later this year? https://www.theaic.co.uk/companydata/0P0000ZSSM/capital-structure
thanks in advance
Strange to not see SP up. Expecting as some big buys happening over last 2 days and oil relatively on the up.
Hi,
was expecting the sp a bit higher towards end of the week but no sign yet?
Any thoughts guys?
Thanks
AP
Interesting. Thank you.
Likely trades at the mid point between the bid and the ask so it is reported as unknown, it can't be reported as a buy or a sell.
Hi, Newbie investor here. Can anyone explain what the "Unknown" trades are from yesterday?
BOOOOM time ahead
Well they cant sit around all day and week waiting for people to sell , I think they must have been hoping for a drop in the Sp, however peeps are more astute nowadays
GLA LTH Today may be just a consolidation day, the rise is yet to come ,
wow, looks like board getting their wallet out
Just had look in , and it’s fairly obvious the Brokers are sitting on the fence at the minute , who blinks first still in play ,
The Company has the AGM in June so the rise will happen before then
There’s only so many days to buy 12million shares
So weather it’s this week or the weeks after it will come when least expecting it
GLA LTH hold tight and you will be well rewarded imo
Me too guys...feel pretty safe and secure here.
Slow and steady wins the race, there will be the inevitable spike any day when the brokers really decide to get their hands dirty, my guess is Thursday before the BH
I was thinking exactly the same thing. There are some power moves being played here, I for one will be patiently waiting!
- Oil is rising
- Buy backs are happening
5-10% rise today will do nicely!
are for the patient investor, not much happening, but we know they have the firepower to shift the Sp, when they choose, they are prob waiting for peeps to get bored with the inaction , then the will slowly start the real buyback, have you all noticed no RNS reference to any buys from yesterday, Brokers are sitting on the fence,
however as the Oil and gas price improves the price will rise, and may even result in the Company pulling the huge buyback or even trimming it and returning cash to shareholders,
its all a bit of cat and mouse, but the brokers won't wait too long as they could miss out on their fees, and the Company has played a blinder having two Brokers, so which one blinks first???
GLA LTH we have all week and some, it will come if your patient . see you all later other shares to concentrate on
yes up around 10%, if we can get a steady rise through May June , the Sp will follow much faster , RSE has Huge assets and cash, so a sustained rise could be on the cards
GLA Brokers may be slow off the mark and miss out on these low prices, imo
All oil companies on the rise today..
