I couldn't possibly comment.
Anyway, nearly there IMHO.
All that matters is that we get the result we want.

The other parties would be whomever received the $250m (?) actually paid or to be paid for the property. No i do not who who this might be. I suspect (guess) that a transaction of the type described by RRR does not take place without a number of people being involved. Money would have been paid but most likely did not actually remain in that bank account but was most likely paid out to other companies/people and disguised as 'services' or other means to hide the money flow.
just speculation on my part but really what would be the point of ripping someone off and just let the money sit there
Helpful
You suggest there are a number of wriggly parties and imply that if RRR gets its money these parties will not get what they would like to get.
I am somewhat bemused over the wording 'parties', as I understand it, having listened carefully to Bell, the payment due from Gecamines ($7.5m) is only due to Red Rock and not contested, he also said this party is willing to pay, how can this payment effect other parties therefore?
I can understand that the $4.5m due from VUP may be more challenging or is he wanting to secure this from Gecamines as they still owe VUP $2.5m.
Who are the other parties if they are not Gecamines or VUP if I may ask, do you know?
The process he is going through is complex with a number of wriggly parties who need to have their opportunity to wriggle blocked off. Don't forget, if RRR gets its money it means other parties are not going to what they would like to get. It is understandable that they will try to do everything they can to frustrate RRR and its intentions.
I am more than happy with how things are going. If it was a failure, he would be back already. The problem he has is that if he came back the process would slow down or halt completely. So he has to stay there to make sure that progress is made.
He also can't comment on anything that can be used against him by the other parties and, of course, it ain't done till its done. So regardless of where he thinks he is up to and what is promised to him, until it is actually done it is as if nothing has been done.
I know he has had to rebook his flight back several times because he thought he would be okay to come back and then something else came up. In my view, this is the most important thing he has to deal with at the moment, he has the momentum and has to close it off whilst the opportunity is there.
Realistically, we can't move on to dealing with Big G until this bit is boxed off.
Fingers crossed.
PS the RRAL news is a big thing. This now means that they can get on with the -pre-IPO and the listing. Likely AB will need to go out there.

Bell is tweeting away on his personal account today, no idea whether he is in the Congo or not (one suspects he still is)
I feel some update on proceedings in the Congo is well overdue, there have been photos of him with his legal team and references to successes and progress in interviews.
It has now been 6 weeks in country, shareholders expect some form of news, I am worried Bell will come back to London and keep quiet if he has failed in the process leaving everyone guessing.
Make no mistake if he comes home without cash it is a failure, according the apparant spokesperson on this site (Helpful) the major shareholders demanded Bell extract value from RRR's existing projects (something Bell confirmed via an interview) acquiring new projects now without cash will simply not cut it in my view.
What will the major shareholders do if he fails ?
No doubt by guess was wrong. I still believe AB will be sucessfull in getting funds from Congo judgements
As previously stated my investment timeline was 2-3 years ( but always hope that its faster
Yep good old Bell racking up the expenses. His undeniable talent for sucking in mugs allows for it. Example of a mug from 7th June:
"Everyone should listen to this.
AB expects "visible signs of success" from this trip referring to the collection of the initial amounts of money, so my take is a news announcement in3-10 days, to allow for the stated discussions/negotiations/ give & take etc-- agreements to drafted, reviewed and signed then finally funds send AND received
IMO the whistle has sounded and the train will be leaving the station"
3-10 days!! Hahahhaaa love it. If everyone listened and believed these paid for interviews then all RRR shareholders would be millionaires by now. "My take"... Love it, aged well.
Bell can stay in the Congo as long as he desires if he collects the cash (up-to $12m), if he spends weeks and weeks there at shareholder expense and comes back with nothing other than puff and wind that is another matter.
For those who may have missed the recent interview Bell said he knows the market does not believe he will get a result but then added there was a reason for him extending his stay purporting he will get the cash.
I believe a positive result is possible due to the fact that one party has ability to pay and as previously suggested by Bell wants to pay but wants to know who legally to pay, that has been established via the courts as Red Rock.
Duke I think you know who.
Don't forget Who's paying for the rounds of golf?

Is this week #6?
