How do you know aimdogs?

Dicko yesterday posted about the scale of opportunity potentially we may have in the DRC and Helpful responded by agreeing 100% with him. I do not know what Dicko does for a living but we know Helpful has his own Company in Manchester and does deals re financing etc and has advised AB in the past. I just wonder what motivates an educated man like Helpful to remain on this board. Is he trying to encourage people to buy here to somehow save his own skin or does he genuinely believe we are going places? Or is he just an enigma.

After forty odd visits to the DRC I think we can say AB has been well strung along or taken for a ride. But , and it is a big but , we recently were presented with the picture of a large mine so maybe his luck may have changed?

News no doubt you are a whizz kid on computers. Can you tell whether AB is still in the DRC?

No its just AB was spending time with the President and thought that might have helped. Anything really to get us out of our desperate situation.

Spec i suppose AB has said he has told the powers that be in the DRC that he wants the arbitration settled first. Now if we believe he is being offered great deals partly due to his influence / the way he has done business there over the years, then you would have thought he could have influenced procedures in some way through his contacts to get the arbitration over the line.

AB has said he has never taken a penny out of the Country. The question I have is will they ever allow him to take a penny out of the Country? I suppose if they allow us to get our hands on the arbitration money which is sitting there and parties presumably have agreed a settlement then this will be proof that Ab has achieved something.

Banburyboy Helpful is certainly not like me.

Dukey obviously it is our supportive lenders helping out once more. The question is why would they still be prepared to do it?

Well in the latest stockbox interview AB certainly led us to believe that goodies were around the corner. Shareholder expectations on the rise maybe? But and it is a big but, Theeeejukes and Banburyboy have been far more right than wrong over the years. In the know Helpful has been more wrong than right. So the question is which way will this bounce? My problem is that AB has told too many porkies over the past 15 years.

AB said at the end of the interview that a broker asked if he wants to do a placing. He repeated no to the placing offer. Can anyone clarify why? I thought we still have no money and rather than borrow at high interest rates we could use this supposedly good prospects to do a placing at a high placing price?

Spec just saying AB has done very nicely here over the years considering his achievements. By the way we are paying for his flights etc.

News you seem a decent sort. Agree running an AIM Company is expensive. I am a long term shareholder who is 99% down on my investment here so I do not think any successful AB deals will help me much. As you seem to have faith here how about emailing AB to suggest to him that he might consider reducing his salary in these difficult times to help the Company with its cash flow. Not a bad idea considering his achievements here. If you do decide to contact him I would love you to put his reply on this forum for all to see.

News answer to your question " what happens now at RRR ". I think there is a good chance that RRR is going to go bankrupt. I think our supportive lenders are looking how they can get some sort of return on their loans. I was an idiot largish shareholder here and was lied to by Bell. Ask yourself why is AB not buying at these distressed levels or for that matter his mate Helpful. I think it has all been a jam tomorrow conn job here. I would like to think the DRC have pulled the wool over ABs eyes but he cannot lose as he has recieved a fabulous salary over the years. Sad really.
