Banburyboy us long term shareholders have seen the same trend over the years. AB makes a fuss about a certain project and tells us about its great potential but further down the line it is suddenly dropped as though it never existed. He then starts bigging up another project. I wouldn't mind if some of these projects succeeded but it never happens. It has all been a big con looking back and I wish I had never got involved with this man.
Thanks Spec for the positives. I am leaning towards the negatives as AB just does not seem to have the ability to secure a settlement. He has been promoting the value in Kenya for years without success. He said the DRC settlement was imminent ages ago. He spent weeks over there so must have made friends / contacts but somehow he was led astray in thinking the settlement was imminent. He really should explain things to shareholders who pay his wages in much more detail with possible timeframes as far as he is able. Cheers.
Spec appreciate you listing all the negative aspects. Would you mind listing a few of the positive points as you see them. I think he thought he would get the DRC money much earlier and has not reduced activities so thing he has led us perilously to extinction.
Thanks Helpful for replying. Shocked really that we are not exporting our own stuff in Zim. My once large investment is now worth about £2k so I will be holding purely in anticipation of the DRC money. AB uses smoke and mirrors all the time and I do believe he is now desperate for money. Did we ever find out if the Board have been foregoing their salaries as this would help a little?
Helpful you have a lot of confidence in ALR and I hope RRR shareholders do well. What I cannot work out is why do we not have the DRC money. AB was extremely confident so is there any legal way we can pursue it, in effect force a settlement??
I know helpful but the problem with AB is that he has phases when he promotes a specific asset for a while and when nothing happens he turns to promote another but nothing positive for shareholders ever happens. Would have been nice if he linked his salary to achievements but I do not suppose he will. Are you expecting a SP rise once ELEP gets lift off?
Banburyboy it is truly shocking that AB has presided over almost 100% fall in SP. What I have never understood is how the major shareholders have supported him and allowed him to retain his salary. Maybe give him a chance to redeem himself but he should have gone years ago. Is there a chance of getting value back to where it once was? Not a chance in my opinion.
