Not what I was expecting this am
Half read first line of RNS and thought oh excellent Rre have launched an all cash offer - Wrong way round
Cut the waffle - I’m very very pleased but disappointed also - a journey cut short
LBE and TXP could take my proceeds
GLA
They might have another use for that money
Why are people selling at 1830 when the bid price is 1850?
Something has changed? Well covid 19, oil price fall, market uncertainty...
And all the acquisitions that were being talked about only months ago
Something a miss here I was genuinely looking for £50
Been sold a lie or something has changed big style
No honour anywhere it seems
What are people being quoted?
Interesting to say the least
Wanted over £20, bit disappointed. Not expecting any counter bids so I’ll take the money
Oh well it’s still a solid profit, onto the next one
For a company that was set up for a low oil price environment, the board here have given up. That’s the tone of the RNS. Sold for less than the cash position. Poor show.
Anyway, can’t complain, topping up in SQZ
Bandit. Suggest having a good look at TXP, no advice to invest etc.
Just read the opening lines of the RNS. The board has agreed the price at 1850p
Does AA have link to Viaro Energy? Check companies house!!!
Yes it is done and dusted folks as others have rightly said. Whilst we would all like more it is the easiest £75000 I have made this year. Challenge now is to find a home for this money. I am invested heavily in gold with GGP and SOLG already so may sit on the cash for a while looking for others RRE’s but not that many around.. Let’s see if the market takes us up the bid up to 1800p or so. Good start to the week chaps and good luck with your other investments.
dana,
"I think AA paid £1850 for a few shares last October from memory...."
I'm all for 'coincidences', how about you !
As mentioned, not sure why AA has thrown the towel in early on this one given all his rhetoric on acquisitions, £52/share.... makes me think, does it not you.
aimo
Opening auction should be interesting
Greenspan, they have to pay the highest price that the concert party has paid, not the market as a whole.
I think AA paid £1850 for a few shares last October from memory/
£250m was about the mark I thought we would go for tbh
I mean it was cheap but I have had worse returns in two years. £6 to £18.5, so much potential but I’m ok with it in this climate tbh.
dana,
"I wonder if there is more in the pot?..."
Well the answer is yes, to the CoH ...... will we see an increase on the offer, doubtful unless we have another interested party. Given our decom status and hydro mix I do think this offer is about right although a little disappointing as AA appears to have thrown the towel in early, so not sure why that is tbh.
DEAL is AGREED. Stop fantasies about bidders lol. Move on. It’s over. AA sold us out on the cheap. Got his money and everyone is going their own way. There was nothing happening and only Arran news was due but coming online next year.
I repeat ... ITS A DONE DEAL. ITS OVER
It explains the wide spread over recent weeks.
It is a decent offer considering current price, however the cash out can't be ignored. I wonder if there will be another bidder.
Steal, they have more cash than the offer. Can't be right.. Good result for most "new" investors but way undervalued still.
Get your money into LBE. The new RRE
Bargain but very happy.
