Nope - no intention of selling currently :)
Retirement Relax it appears the same people repeatedly on a daily basis banging on about SP if your not selling it don’t matter !
Well - looks like the Yanks will drive us lower today :(

Everyone is posting about the SMR change meanwhile the Article Title should read
https://www.building.co.uk/news/rolls-royce-pulls-plug-on-200m-plans-for-small-modular-reactor-factory/5129163.article
Rolls Royce said it has now “prioritised” work on its modular assembly factory and would source heavy pressure vessels, which are key components in the mini reactors, from the supply chain.
Remind the red that we will go back green, the media is an industry im sure the title was wrote on purpose that way misleading
Why do you keep posting old news?
Rolls-Royce was the top performer in Britain's FTSE 100 in 2023, soaring over 200% on the back of a profit forecast upgrade and the announcement in November that profits could quadruple by 2027.
People are mentioning this “big deal”, I was under the impression that big deal was the Turkish airline deal in December?
AZ- Oh, you noticed too? ;)
420, lol thats ironic someone smoking chronic at the desk
So it looks like £4.20 is deffo the new £3.10 (11 bounces off that)... 4 attempts down now to break it
Tesla up like 15$ and Amazon up 4$
FTSE up and we resting at 1% down for know
How many days until the May General Meeting for Shareholders
Don't blame you, IAG have been dreadful, but still, 7% up on what I paid last year. You're right there really isn't much else worth investing in, with a few exceptions
Yes, mine was frozen as well, but ok now but Dropping yet again.
Nothing else in the sector worth buying in my opinion… I’m staying clear of the airline operators.
Whats up with the 3x 3SRR.L leverage on this
No volume on short,,,, but volume on the long 3X 3LRR.L
Is it more like a 2.3% correction from the 424 first thing this morning? It is difficult to know whether to sell short term and build up some reserves elsewhere. IAG is another one I am considering disposing of, its doing naff all, but want to wait until next week on that one. If only Tufan would say what that "big deal" is. To be dangling us for the past 4 months or so is just so frustrating!
Svend I am sorry I am completely wrong. I was getting my percentages wrong.
Charley I note the SP500 reached a high of 5277 and a recent low of 4925 representing 350 points a 6.65% correction likewise Royces hit a high of 435 and a low of 392 which is a steeper correction of some 9.8% can you explain the 5% technical correction you see? 👀
It was a 5% technical correction
Berny.. The stock market is expected to be a bit choppy/turbulent this week as 1229 US company reports coming out. Royces stock is on the rise again after a small dip. It pulled back down to the £400 support level, but now it's headed back up north towards the April high of £435. The next goal is to break through the resistance level at £444 and ATH before the jobs report comes out on Friday. IMOO GLA
Opinions please?
Rishi refused to Rule out July elections 5 times during his interview yesterday would a July election stop any June announcements regarding the SMR isn't there a 6 week rule before an election?
"Through strength comes peace, bullies only pick on those they perceived weak."
Pretty much sums up the US in a nutshell. Always attack the weak to bring US style Democracy ( unless you have oil in your backyard)
