Totally agree with you wakeboarder.
And a rather careless headline from the Telegraph on this occasion.
Any one know what this is about.

Maybe they get their data from the feckless Google finance...which despite being one of the biggest companies in the world can't get a RR closing price right......
Any ideas as to why RR are showing share price at close on Friday as 4.12 on their share web page ?
Perhaps RR. are anticipating a change in government and have washed their hands of dealing with this 5hitshow
" If it's boeing, i ain't going"
Yep. They are inept. Couldn't organise a p.up in a brewery!
More proof on how feckless our useless gov is.
a very shrewd move by rr , they will save a fortune and forgemasters can supply the first orders anyway , so that’s more of the debt rr will will get rid of and puts pressure on the government to get their ****s into gear for the future ! great find 👍

Yes with around 180 lives depending on it ! Crazy !!!
Check your airline for Airbus is all I can say when you book any flights
What do I know, but I find it amazing in this day and age that a plane can be trusted to fly safely after 33ish years in service.

@ retirement-plan. I assume you mean boeings sp?
"The new £1.18 million award from the Fund backs collaboration to identify and advance the optimum technologies for a fission nuclear system, benefitting both UK and US space nuclear development programmes for a range of space power missions.
Rolls-Royce is collaborating with US firm BWXT Advanced Technologies LLC (BWXT) to deliver this phase of development, which has been cemented in a Teaming Agreement between the two companies."
The contract only worth $1 million? Is it a typo? Could it be $1 billion? $1 million is smaller than a peanut, lol😂 😂😂
Retirement-plan, guys like you amaze me,.
How is it possible to think so negatively?
Is the Delta 767 powered by Rolls-Royce engines, if not why are you commenting?
If yes, then do you seriously think the share will retract on Monday?
Rycey went up nearly 4% in New York yesterday as you know, so they weren't bothered by the Delta information.
Last weekend, the half empty guys like yourself were predicting a regional war in the Middle East, outright war between Iran and Israel, WW3 et al.
What happened, nada!!.
Me, I'm predicting an increase in Rolls-Royce on Monday, if you disagree, open a short position and let's see how much you lose!.
Seriously mate, learn to chill out and keep your negative emotions in check or you'll never make any money.
Sounds like an operator maintenance problem to me

🗣Rolls-Royce awarded NASA Power Conversion Development Contract
🇬🇧Posted 26 April 2024🇬🇧
🗣Rolls-Royce has been awarded a $1 million contract to develop an Advanced Closed Brayton Cycle converter for NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio
Good find Rowaboat 👍
The 767 was 33 years old!
Suspect if the "none routine vibration" is due to a latent defect with the Rolls Royce engine it could be a concern. Doubtful but I we all know how things get mis-reported in press
