The Motley "TOOL" has today revalued RR at a very conservative £8.67 presently, pity he wasn't a market maker. Could be swinging up as Volume Bought was too the upside today. Need Svend to update his most interesting Charts point of view, as if it clears resistance at £4.30 there's an easy run to £4.50p plus.
Good Night All
AGM May 20p increase
SMR June contracts awarded hopefully UK and Poland 20p for two, 40p increase
AIR Shows all summer long for more Airline Orders Farnborough and Paris,USA,Middle East, etc 10p times four =40p increase
Half Year results August 30p increase as yearly last Feb 2024, possible future dividends announcement 10p increase, share buy backs announced 10p ( less RR shares in circulation, means a natural higher future RR share price)
Possible more SMR Submarine and Defence contracts 20p increase
Possible more Airline usage of RRs own bio-fuel 10p increase
Possible Sovereign Wealth Funds,Hedge funds,Pension Funds,ETF Funds coming on board 10p to SP.
If RR Share Price at £4.30 Pre May AGM, the above probable increases could see circa £6 SP at the start of Autumn 2024
Possible £1.80p
I tend to agree with you I hope Nettles is right as I love his optimism and he's a cat with character!
For me the daily and weekly swing in this SP is making the day traders a lot of money and I feel its being held artificially.
Large engine orders and the numerous other good news is having only a limited effect although geopolitical stuff is not killing it either, for me all this just adds up to when we have a profit update or a huge upward swing with the SMR announcement and/or dividends?
As I always say I'm a complete amateur and this is just my opinion any one else's opinion I'm always glad to hear!
Have a nice evening and good trading to you all
@Nettles, fun sponges come to mind ;-). Sometimes in life people think we are all playing the same game, but at some point people realise you have been playing cricket and everyone else has been playing football. Investments are like that. As retailers we don't have a clue what the big boys are doing (or playing) period. I do hope for £5+ in the next few months...and that's all it is, hope.
Anyway time for a run....nice and sunny in London town..enjoy your evening guys.
Market I agree 100% this Will not be £7 by February but it’s only fun eh mate ,I get the impression excuses are already coming 😀😀
Gerald’s Ego was bigger than his brain.
The box is worth more than the contents!! Not a great recommendation for your brand…
What’s your view on Bank of America position here?.
NTC . This will not climb 40.23% by Feb next year as of today’s price . Sorry my friend but simply won’t happen . If you look @ my history I always stated £5.00 by feb 24 . It is not going to achieve anything near the numbers you think & portray to the forum . Good luck with your investment .
You got it spot on in my eye's Bav. Like you say, a bit of fun in-between the announcements that take this to £7 come Feb 2025.
Just don't have too much fun on here, there are 'some' who don't like fun.
Just to confirm, i was talking only about a day high, not a price above 4.26 that would stick. I was 0.20 off, price reached 425.90 (day high)....its just a bit of fun is all.
Everyone is guessing a price...unless your a MM (in charge of algo's) or have complete control over world events, its fun and games at a retail level. My prediction was a guess based on like i said DJ/FTSE futures...I am not a guru in any shape or form but i have followed the markets for 20 + years so you kind of get a feeling (not always right).
I do have an exit in mind and i am confident it will be reached and that price is between me, the missus and what I do next in my life.
Have a good evening.
O’Leary , The arrogant twat of the aviation industry attempting to support Boeing . Wrong decision buying that brand so time has proven , buy cheap , buy twice that’s if you can even acquire the future doomed brand . Boeing sp price still crazy high in my view considering all factors considered .
Nettles I’m not moaning just pointing out the obvious that yourself and others attempting to guess the SP ,remember your prediction of £7 by February ,good luck with that one 😀😀😀
It was all looking SO rosey this am and then WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAAAAM…😞😞😞
It's because Michael O'Leary said ticket prices were likely going to rise by less this summer than previously expected.
Anyone remember Gerald Ratner?
Yeah, this is boring now, every time it lifts up, it drops.
Shirley after the new plane order it should stay up a wee bit.
Airbus had an uptick in aircraft deliveries for April, 61 were delivered an increase of 13% to April 2023.
Airbus deliveries sit at 203 delivered from the start of the current year. Boeing had last month reported 83 deliveries over the quarter to March, against 130 a year earlier.
And so it does it again, gets above £4.20 and drops 10p, what's that 5th or 6th time?
I really wouldn't have noticed Ar5enal, but every post you make is moaning about that fact so I bow to your superior, older, wiser, older, and more informed/older judgement.
Yes I bet there is a lot of people on here trying to Guess the SP daily eh 😀
"Don't people feel daft posting prices ? it's my worst Share today IAG is my best. but you get likes for it ?"
You sure about that?
Hello mystic, well spotted could also be Airbus sub contracting the Fuselage Frames (Boeing bought Spirit outright to augment their future supply, so Airbus potentially looking for another Fuselage supplier, Airbus could also sub contract part of the massive order book that Airbus now has, as Boeing troubles can only improve Airbus orders with Farnborough and Paris Airshows to come this summer, ordering a new Boeing aircraft presently could entail a nine year wait, they have a 5600 new planes backlog worth in excess of half a trillion dollars, full new build Boeing plane capacity is 50 planes a month Airlines will not wait that long, they too will go the route of Airbus and get so many fully built in China, India is another possibility as that's cheap as well, and no risks of industrial action such as the month long one affecting RR presently at Barrow where the Nuclear Subs are serviced and built, Boeing is not a direct competitor for RR as they don't make Jet Engines, Airbus gets more benefits of Boeing's present unending woes.
Hopefully when the American Financial Markets open at 2.30 p.m. RR Share Price may receive a financial boost as big investors must leave Boeing surely with no end in sight to their present self-inflicted troubles, and one hopes the month long action presently at Barrow does not spread, as the last thing needed now is to self inflict weaken ourselves such as Boeing who are staring down the Barrel.
In the short to medium term very good for us and Airbus. Long term I suspect China will use the IP to build / improve it's own aircraft then undercut as it does with every other industry.

"Struggling to see your argument for IAG, I didn’t bother with IAG… put it all in RR… up six figures.
Best decision I ever made.
"
Definitely a best decision!
I made a worst decision selling out at 126p after seeing 50% paper loss! Should have could have stayed in. Got few at 188p and 204p but not massive amounts to dent my mortgage. Have diversified now instead of all into one stock. RR dividend announcement could be the next trigger point
We know how much it likes to drop after a £4.20 break so lets see what it does this week!
