Carrington I think both of them and the railway union leaders are all Arthur Scargills living in the 70s mate ,this is where you needed a good old Margaret Thatcher moment mate good luck
"@Carrington - i would say the no divi is a given and likely already priced in", - newdealz - shorts increase for a reason, to make money, they increased only a few days ago - RMG only came back yesterday by MM'S adjusting share prices up across the board on the back of two days of big gains for the Dow - unless the strike is resolved RMG has further to fall - all imo of course - best of luck
dyor etc
They should have called it IBS - the SP performance is killing my bowels at the moment. Hope everyone's groovy today!
@Carrington - i would say the no divi is a given and likely already priced in, imo the market would take that news positively given the current state of affairs, short sellers would reduce. Its normal for divi's to pause during turbulance i expect many other companies to follow suite in the coming months.
Haha - Anger - Dave Ward is the new Arthur Scargill - led the miners to the top of the hill and led them back down again with no pay rise, no money and no job at the end of it all - Posties need to smell the coffee and go to Acas - even the Guardian is advising them to do that but oh no Dave Ward knows better
gl dyor etc
People asking where is madasaballoon?
The rep from Stratton, Swindon is alive and well on this board as Dynamo FC.
Madasaballon last post 3rd June 2020
Dynamo FC member since 5th June 2020, First Post 8th June 2020.
Abusive writing style identical - been looking at posting history.
Dynamo baldy LoL
Just to remind people all RMG related views are now on IDS the new name of the business I wonder how our militant friends will react to this !
I think everything has moved over to the IDS page on the board.
I sold my RMG holding a few weeks back for a tiny profit based on 1m losses per day and short term liabilities just about being covered - I think this will play out in their results on the 17th March - shorts are seeing it the same way as I am and have increased their positions in the last few days with the overall position now at 3.59pct so they, like me can see a cut in dividend announced on results day to support the short term liabilities - I will look to buy when the share tanks on the 17th - gla dyor etc
Peaky, you really think that VESA are going to part with any more capital than is absolutely necessary? I reckon that the offer is going to be much lower personally. Any profit that GLS make (which will now probably be scaled back from the last forecast) will be offset by the RM UK losses thus devaluing the group profits. VESA will almost certainly use this to their advantage in order to offer a bargain basement price potentially leaving investors with high averages very much out of pocket. These guys don't get rich by pure coincidence.
Ispy you think your office is bad now wait till we all lose are jobs and there is 80000 vacancies for postman. We have 1 vacancy in are office and we can’t fill that .
Share holders will get their big payday when this is split and sold off next year.
Postie's could work at Aldi maybe, but think that requires a brain....
This is worth 500p per share in pieces, only losers are the lazy and there's plenty of those.
@ Time2Kill.
Mines the same. The only overtime now being done is by the regulars.
As soon as it's cleared, and it will be, we'll be back on strike.
The number of casuals appears to be rising though. I did post that they get paid £17.55 an hour. Add on agency fees and van hire. Plus, the fact that they are not as quick as us posties. Even the over fifties. Why would they be? Another well thought out cunning plan.
So, an already decimated delivery service, is slowly getting worse. But that's okay as long as the white-collar workers get paid their bonuses and the shareholders get paid their dividends.
anyway angry boy you have to be up for your shift at 5am so get a good nights sleep.... ftse is up royal mail is up so you can sleep easy...... for tonight anyway...lol
"Wolvesposty - was £400m not distributed to shareholders? Am I a shareholder? Well you know it was distributed out because all you peasants have done is whinge about it since. You should know your place by now."
Peasants lol, you'd of got FA if it wasn't for us remember that!
anger you are a single shareholder not all the shareholders..... you will not admit you are wrong!!!!!but good old social media can see that you are as all can read your scripts....
A 13YR OLD GIRL YOU SAID MY MAN... NOT 10.... YOU SURE YOU NOT GOT DEMENTIA????? FORGOT WHAT PRICE YOU PAID,HOW MUCH YOU HOLD,HOW MUCH ROYAL MAIL MAKING OR LOSING PER DAY DURING THE STRIKE... AND THEN TELLING ME SIMON GAVE YOU 400M....
WOLVESPOSTY AGED 59AND3/4... AND COM'POS MEN'TIS
anger you quote"Simon rewards me with £400m for my trouble"... so no misquote there then DK.....
"Come on lads, they are asking for more money to deliver letters with no qualifications...
Well apart from a driving license.
I think they are lucky with the money they get, but think the strikes have sealed the fate of many...."
Can't beat experience over qualifications, I wish all we did was delivering letters. Ask most of the managers which side of the fence they'd rather be on. Well I say managers lol
SO NO APOLOGY THEN SHARKYBOY FOR THE MISQUOTE...one of many i must add..
Have you been into a DO this week has mine is totally chaotic with trays after tray of undelivered mail on rounds which are covered and rounds uncovered just left, I've personally never seen my DO in a worse state, even when we had a number of staff off due to COVID.
As far as OT pay being less than the normal rate that is only marginally less for most posties.
ANOTHER misquote from the royal mail financial guru....PMSL......
Wolvesposty - My buys are none of your concern. I buy as and when I want to it’s a simple as that. So you shuffle around like a good little worker ant and then I throw money at it as and when I want too…..and Simon rewards me with £400m for my trouble. Lol. anger are you dk in disguise???? simon giving YOU 400M!!!!!
@ PeakyBinder
