Rm has changed a lot over the last few years with no industrial action from the union, Thompson has pushed to far taking money off postman before any increase in wages that's why there's a strike
And it now needs to change a lot more to keep up with the changing conditions, something the ageing workforce is struggling with…this is now why your conditions are about to change if you like it or not also, not meaning to sound brutal…you ain’t seen nothing yet…welcome to the real world…

It RMG are not allowed to explore efficiencies, the new kids on the block will end up taking much of RMGs business away. I certainly don't want that, so IMO the strike is an own goal for the posties. I don't want any jobs lost, but sometimes a company has to restructure, and the Unions need to accept that. Its either delaying the inevitable or RMG and its staff could suffer as a result.
Undervalued :-)
Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng realised the error of their ways.
What's going on...?
The ‘average’ postie is well aware what’s going on thanks.
Looks like you got that spot on ????????

Anger - I utilised the ADVFN website for Royal Mail news - great source of info - they list hundreds of relevant items chronologically including all RNS's - had to pick my way through these for the relevant share purchases (22 in total) and this allowed me to make the calculations. Interestingly, his first 131 million shares (10/3/20 to 30/7/20) cost average of 161.6p while the remaining 80 million shares (8/1/21 to 14/7/22) cost an average of 428.7p - giving a total original cost of £555 million (before deducting dividends £94 million)
Just like the Tory Party has, you know innovated that's why they are doing so well with all of their recent absolutely outstanding 'Innovations?'
by the way its semi retirement because i work 20 hours per week before any smart comments on full time posties....
VESA are probably renting his stock out to the shorts as well, so he's likely making money on both sides.
He's not a billionaire for no reason.
Another 150 million takes him to 30 %.
It's almost a no brainer at this stage, it's just a matter of when and if he get's the go-ahead, hopefully it's all done and dusted before the next general election, because that will be Labour landslide of epic proportions.
I wonder what high rate tax payers will be paying then, one things for certain it won't be 40 %
anger I love the job and its semi retirement for me but I stand up for fairness and what's right. not like a bully that you appear to be.... i believe in karma... you know? what goes around comes around...... so i send you karma with my best wishes...
good night mommy shark...xx
ftse set for a 1% drop in early trading tomorrow....... hold on tight...
anger so many insults yet you haven't even made me cry..... i must be an idiot with a savings bond circa 250k paying 4% at current compared to losing that much each DAY. on royal mail.... must be a right bin dipping c0ckwomble of an envelope thrower that bends over to Mr. T for a shafting....pmsl
DK was July 14th, and then a month later the RNS was released about him wanted to increase beyond 25 %.
He's probably the happiest person about the decision taking as long as it has, he could get them £1 a share lower.
@teslo "His last purchase was on July 14th when the price closed @264.6
At that stage if was planning a bid it would of had to been at least at the original IPO price level."
was that dk or ds.. aka daddy shark????
Unless the market recovers overnight the price will likely drop tomorrow.

anger what's the sp doing tomorrow???? let us know and we will bet against it... that's a fantastic way for us on here to make a few bob... pmsl
Thanks @bigpercy.
His rolling average is 2.63 and net cost is 2.18.
August 25th was the date of the RNS about increasing his holding and the price traded between 2.66 and 2.74.
Interesting, because the drop helps him rather than hinders him.
