Jeez, Bjuice any one reading this, including myself in the future, would think I wrote that myself...that's exactly how I found life at R.Mail. I got out Nov 2022. Colleagues tell me I got out at the right time but bearing in mind the crap they have had to put up with for the last few years I left it a year too late. Totally unachievable workloads no matter how much effort is put in. The jobs has changed in 23 yrs from customers waiting in for their mail to moaning about the crap that gets put in their letterboxes. Absolutely clueless overworked management and staff that are pushed so far that they are beyond caring and so called planners that couldn't organise a xxxx in a brothel. Good riddance to it all.
had to take an early retirement as i didn't like the direction that the company was going. more and more workload on colleagues and less and less respect for workforce. beyond ridiculous what they are expected to achieve within allocated time. "planners" havent a bloody clue. glad i am out. morale at an all time low throughout. was an enjoyable rewarding job but can't wait to cash these shares in and forget all about my 23 yrs service with this ****show.
Didn't we have this on 18.1.2024
Yep. Bought these shares thru the Halifax bank scheme. Full weekend plus 3 days later, still waiting. Pxss poor service!
What's going on...?
Teslo. I always found your input informative and useful unlike the constant drivel that a certain person places on this site
Dear me...all getting tedious yet again now, reading through all the petty arguments on here.....about time it was left out. Would be better if you could go do something useful ; or even better, contribute something useful to the board. After all, thats what everybody else is here for.....to hear news and views on the RMG scene and share price. Give it a bloody rest !
Theres plenty of d*** swinging and bravado on both sides but no action as far as I can tell and as far as I’m aware there still hasn’t been any official offers on the table just lots of here say?
Yep...the process should have started long ago. The union are letting down all of the posties who leave in the meantime and won't get months of backpay. Pull your finger out and start much earlier I say!
People STILL aren't able to order lateral flow tests online https://mol.im/a/10307607 via https://dailym.ai/android
Just hoping he doesn't sell off sime of his stake in RMG to buy West Ham....
Trouble with several posties coming in early regularly for free is that managers don't see the proper workload and are more inclined to "take hours out of the office" on the next revision, never to the benefit of staff. Also it makes the regular postie look a pillock if the cover man gets round to the customer an hour early by coming in early and running round like a t@@t. That said, the unofficial flexibility has worked in my favour if,say, I had a docs appointment mid afternoon . Overall though, boils my **** how people abuse it by giving free labour.
Dynamo. I am a part timer and primary sorting doesn't come into the equation. We simply put the already sorted mail into the frame and go out on delivery. I can assure you that it most certainly isn't as busy here as I would normally expect, even for this time of year. That is from someone with decades in the game.
Dynamo. I have done double lapsing all week, coming back on average 15 mins early every day. Certainly not the norm. I usually get a total of maybe 45 minutes thru the week. Looking at the number of trolleys parked up it seem that almost everybody else beat me back so I can deduce from that that it certainly ain't busy right here right now. P.S. I am not a shorter so I have no reason to tell it other than it is
Busy?? Not sure where all the mail is going then but not coming to our office. I haven't had a day on delivery recently with even half the quantity of pre-covid parcels, today was 30 percent of that quantity maximum!!!! Nice to see letters on the increase though since then.
Wonder if the share price is already "priced in" to some extent, I.e. institutions bought in while they can before the ftse100 date?
SP rising nicely.....Wonder if RM will move out of the mid caps soon?
Yep. Could have been better but couldnt risk them dropping to what I paid for them. Made enough for a few holidays so still happy
Sold my remaining stock at close of play this afternoon to lock in my substantial profit. Seem to remember that there is usually a dip on the day of reckoning. Hope I haven't fecked up. Suppose I can always buy them back if they drop tomorrow cos I still believe that there is good news ahead at some stage soon. Fingers crossed.
Any thoughts
Nice gain the last few days....wonder if it will last??
