teslo anger makes up his figures as he goes along....
so anger why requote teslos figures as your own? making yourself look a bigger t0sser by the day...
thanks, percy.... here goes anger again doubling the true figures... me i cannot be bothered if it cost him £50m or £1 billion...
baby shark you are now turning to insults again.... desperation time me thinks....
Just for information purposes, Vesa's 22% stake cost £555 million and from this has to be deducted a total of £94 million of dividends leaving a net cost of £461 million.
well angry boy with this quote"Wolvesposty - ‘sharky baby a loss is only made if you sell you reckon? is that by using money that's depreciating by @ 11% per annum today through inflation and a sp that's dropped over 50% in 6 months!!!! what a fantastic investment....’
I reckon? No, it’s an indisputable fact lol.
The level of inflation hasn’t even entered my thoughts" I am glad you do not enter into the world of finance and become my financial guru!!!!... you must be burning money (although you did say it was only on paper) very easily burnt....
Is DK really into this for £1 billion at this stage ?
I did try to look for the exact figure earlier today, but could find it anywhere and didn't want to go through every RNS to work it out. I know he own's 211,011,551 shares, but not the cost per share.
Does anyone know the exact amount he is currently in for ?
£1 billion seems a little high as that would make his average £4.74 and I don't think he's ever purchased that high, I would guess that the figure is around half of that but either way it represents it significant portion of his net worth. But it would be good to know what his average is at this stage.
sharky boy says"I can sign into my ISA and my average price is right there in seconds…..no calculations required."
i agree mate because a portfolio as bad as yours probably doesn't take much to look at these days my boy lots of minuses....... keep it in the bank like us posties in our strike fund!!!! to keep the pressure on... :-) pmsl...
also dk has a 22% share in a company that cost him £1billion ..with a company that's worth £1.8 billion today .... do the math...
babis, these are engineering managers, mostly located in mail centres however if there are vacancies in deliveries then they may be able to put in for these when their posts become redundant?
I don't know if it's still true but the adage used to be that managers were pretty much interchangeable.
daddy shark do do do...quotes"Dowsie3 - Want to change the subject now I made you look like an absolute d*ck?
Key words there being paper loss. Which means absolutely nothing. I haven’t lost anything unless I sell. Which I haven’t.
And ‘big’……..you don’t know what my average price is, or how many shares I have or what percentage of my portfolio this makes…..so pipe down lol.
Did you manage to get in touch with DK and tell him how he should have invested his £1bn???
sharky baby a loss is only made if you sell you reckon? is that by using money that's depreciating by @ 11% per annum today through inflation and a sp that's dropped over 50% in 6 months!!!! what a fantastic investment....
@ IsleworthSpy and @ AngerSharkz
so much anger from both of you, I am ordering both of you to go and have a w a n k to calm down :)
@ Anger.
So you make a statement but have no idea what you're talking about. LOL.
Your financial numbers regarding your buy in price and where you are now. LOL.
I pay with my phone. Technology eh? You are aware that chip and pin is "sooooooo" you. LOL.
And this:
I KNOW that the strikes are costing a loss making business a substantial amount of money with estimates at around £25m per day. That's a 50% reduction on your loss-making figure from the other day. I know you were corrected. LOL.
How odd then that some on here think, that because of the lack of paid wages, it will save Royal Mail a fortune. Now. I wonder who posted that!! LOL.
Now off you go and work out your average. Along with Maximas1. I can't believe i have met 2 posters who are so angry but upbeat at the same time. LOL.
@ OliGarch
I just asked a CMA rep about managerial redundancies and he said that RM have 150 managerial vacancies. He is talking about delivery offices.
No replies…just this one thread tells you all you need to no…the easiest thread on here to answer and it’s a deadly silence…
I shall answer my own question, the reason the reps on here, won’t answer it as they no very well they will lose more support quicker than posting a second class letter up a 100 metre steep driveway and stopping half way as there not fit enough to do it in one go…
It’s embarrassing really that the full facts are not given to the average postie,so they can make an educated decision, and if not sure they can ask….many do not even no the company are in the process of ripping up agreemets…I could go on…but until next week(weather still forecast to be nice all week)I will sit back and chuckle…the silence is deafening as the truth hurts…
@ teslo
"Maybe Dave and Simon should just have a straightener and settle it the old-fashioned way''
Thats not fair fight, Dave is heavyweight and Simon is already injured in the face, any more injuries Simon will need darth vader mask. anyway my money will be on Dave!
@ Anger.
So, you cannot answer my question.
Now there's a surprise!
You come on here and spout all bad things about the posties, but you cannot give me an answer on how to rectify these things. Because you know f**k all.
""""I’m only interested in the numbers and the bigger picture.""""
Really?
Yesterday you were interested in the cancer patients not receiving their appointments. Now you don't mention them.
Your financial numbers clearly don't stack up. That's why you have the hump.
So, stop pretending you care about the public receiving their post, because you don't.
The immortal line from Jaws: I think we're gonna need a bigger boat!
Or in this case: I think Anger is gonna need a smaller wallet. Lol. PMSL.
@ Anger. 17.49 post.
But you didn't actually answer my question. So i'll repeat the question that i asked in response to this:
""""IsleworthSpy - I’ve already told you how to address the biggest challenge the business is facing right now that is destroying it financially and disrupting public service…..
Turn up and do the job you were employed to do. Very simple.""""
My response:
‘What part of this is so difficult for you to understand?
I DO!!!!!!!!
What else should i do, do, do, Anger?
Answer my question please. You know so much about what i do. An answer should be easy for someone like you.
Salve Gluteus, the subject of administration came up because Dowsie asked the question. My personal take on administration is that it would be the very last resort in a long chain of events so probably more chance of Harry Maguire becoming a top class defender.
The reason your moniker was even mentioned is because you have accused me of "hiding behind" this piece of legislation, however until it is altered by Parliament (and I'm not saying that it carnt be), it stands in law.
Enjoy your dinner and try not to fool into the pool......

Anger better to have the money in the bank cash is king god knows what your paper losses are . You know nothing about investing when you said this would reach historic lows you didn’t sell if you had sold when you said it the share price was 2.40 you would have been better of and bought back in at 1.85 but you couldn’t even follow your own feeling. And if I was you I wouldn’t want to admit my paper losses on here I’d be embarrassed
@ Anger. """"IsleworthSpy - I’ve already told you how to address the biggest challenge the business is facing right now that is destroying it financially and disrupting public service…..
Turn up and do the job you were employed to do. Very simple.""""
What part of this is so difficult for you to understand?
I DO!!!!!!!!
What else should i do, do, do, Anger?
I assume that you can read, and i don't know how much simpler i can make it.
You cannot be that thick!
Unless of course your judgement is clouded by your finances.
Anyway. I should be back at work tomorrow. I can't wait for the absolute carnage that i'm expecting.
I'm quite enjoying it actually. Explaining to all my customers why they haven't had their important mail for days. Do you know how much time that takes out of my day? No? Didn't think so.
Roll on the next strikes.
@ Maximas1. 14.32
****The positive is that this will have to be resolved in the next 10 weeks or less, because legally the company can start firing anyone who partakes in industrial action beyond that date. Simply because the company has offered and proposed****
I totally agree. And i think Telso posted the same.
Unfortunately, each and every person on strike has to be treated the same.
So, to make things clear, Royal Mail would have to sack all striking employees in one go. Let's call it 80,000. They would then have to cover those jobs. And because we are so lazy, let's say they need 60,000 replacements. All have to be vetted, unless I'm mistaken. A quite onerous task i believe. Seeing as though it takes about 6 weeks to get a new entrant through the door, from interview stage.
Good luck with your hopes for us current employees. It ain't gonna happen.
And good luck with your averaging down. Although the price went up on Friday. So, you'll now be averaging up!
I’m the one who sold at 5.81 remember yet you are sitting on a nice big paper loss now who is the thick one
I can't see rm going into administration in the short term, unless the bond holders call in there debt early, which I think they could propose if rm reports full year losses for 2022.
Falkland had a pefect response to such narrative. What was it now ?
OH! Yes......
YAWN!
