I am a chartist before anything when it comes to liquidity driven instruments, and gold is one (RLD is not, but wait a few months for re-listing and the royal screwing of the MMs!!) , technically, gold is very strong, all the major currencies on the world are devaluing themselves by massive money printing operations. Gold is priced against major currencies, and if they are all going down the tubes together, and the wall of money continues, there's nowhere else for it to go except stocks and physical commodities. Gold is usually an idiot sentimental investment, but now, it makes sense to hold it as a store of value while most of the major governments of the world are protecting their citizens from COVID my dropping helicopter money all over the place.
Gold will be well over $2,000 an oz by the end of the year, my medium term objective is $2,150, short term, $1910, in the next week or two.
Watch with interest when RTO happens, can't wait to stuff the MMs. hahaha!!!!
Hello all .. I keep checking in here to see the latest thoughts of my fellow Rld holders ..Rld have picked their exploration targets at t perfect time with metals /minerals set t rise so I am feeling quite happy here in the knowledge we have veterans in t field to identify targets and develop the source . They have done their homework and I expect negotiations t be
at the advanced stages
Evening munchlet
Gold Prices looking good today again 1867 $ oz / some say might breach 2000 $ oz by end of year.
Interesting ride ahead - no patience needed - were locked in for the ride for now ..
Cheers and GL
Yes, its been a bit lonely here for a while now. Keep the faith boys and girls, patience is a virtue..... I am sure they are negotiating furiously with the notoriously difficult bloody time wasting NOMADs who seem to get off on bringing up totally useless stuff designed to "minimise risk". Business is about risk, you can't avoid it, any business that is risk free is not worth owning, the returns would not be there!!Especially in mining and exploration!! We'll get there, a little bumpy though the road may be!!!
Stay the course and prepare for the ride!!!!
What are the possible/probable outcomes here Oaber? I am like Manilla, I don't have a clue, but I did buy in here in the way of a punt and made a point of staying on the advice of others here...any possible projections would be appreciated :)
Sorry to jump on you Oaber - just dropped in..
What do you think of the RLD "target".
I hold recently have been accumalating small amounts of GWMO - (hopefully not x ramping or whatever that means) - but they have been through some pain (the GWMO LTH) - and now seeing some life in the share due to gold prices / silver and copper - so for me RLD RNS was exciting.
Understand if annoying - Happy to go away.
GL to you
I would plan for 6 months and hope for sooner. Otherwise is a daily torture.
When are we all expecting some news?
AngelMarbles thought 6 weeks, which takes up to end Aug Bank Holiday.
Not that it affects anything for a suspended stock, but are there any more guesses for news?
I don't have a scooby-doo about this, but just know it always takes at least twice as long as we first think for a variety of reasons
Manilla?
Ditto
Wonder if certain market conditions would prioritise rto and commencment of trading
I’m still here, I’ve been in EUA since 1.2p... waiting for the offer before I sell a single share
I’m still alive, but in suspended animation awaiting RTO details
Ohmni,.
I too am in EUA and RLD. I bought in to here, specifically for the RTO and hoping for some upside after suspension, similar to EAU, but nothing is guaranteed in the current climate.
Manila
I'm still here although EUA is soaking up most of my attention at the moment. Kinda amusing how EUA came out of suspension and RLD entered one. I missed SNT by 2 days as well which was irksome. Don't ask me why but this total amateur with not even a years experience, discounting the experience of SXX which amounted to listening to my step dad lol, of investing is quite comfortable with the idea of suspension and RTOs. Others however appear less so.
As for RLD. Just gotta have faith in the BOD to deliver the goods upon relisting and the way gold is going a quick return to market with a gold prospect to prove up could give a nice relist SP. Or not, as this is AIM but I am confident of a good return to market.
Good health all.

Hi just checking in to see if there is a pulse still!
Oaber - your thoughts would be appreciated if you get 5
GL
Hi everyone so aren't all these prospects in the Carolinas belt gold ? I also believe in mineral metals and precious stones.. the stones attracted me to RLD . I am confident with their knowledge and expertise ; the board has it in hand and we will see movement again in about 6 wks .. in the hands of the knowledgable an exploration can be sited and turned into producing mine, turning it into a billion dollar company if we have the right skillset and I think we do. I wonder if mark is interested in mining operations ..I'd love to see more communication once all is sorted out , to understand their mission and vision and direction.. keeping investors at the heart of it all
It’s open ended re timelines as the deal is still in negotiations and COVID doesn’t help. Re MG’s property background, that’s his current focus. His Facebook profile also mentioned waste to energy projects in SE Asia.
Thanks Boracic
Sounds very positve and thanks for taking the time.
GL to you Sir and us all.
Well a week has now gone since suspension and I'm getting bored. You mention Greenwood has a property background, I thought he was originally a stockbroker in Thailand. I'm sure he still has his contacts in finance and is beavering away in the background to get a creative financing package post RTO sorted.
Perhaps an innovative structure may come out of this if he has anything to do with it? I'm still sticking to my guns, RTO for my money... With a placement. And can't wait to see those MMs squeezed when this comes back to trade. Let's watch and wait, and resume later.... When the news breaks...
By the way, I like the idea of the 4 prospects, all kinds of metals, spreads the risk, could be really exciting with tons of announcements once drilling starts, which I assume it will as soon as they've got ££££ in the bank....
Hi Numpty,
the current BoD//mgt team does seem very experienced. When it was Tanzanite One in Tanzania, it was the political/cultural situation that prevented them making the most of a unique gem. It was the right decision to get out. On the other hand, the Capricorn Sapphire project seemed a disaster of their making and shook my confidence in them.
Now we are looking at 4 prospects, not mines, so the risks are high.
There are 2 things that have kept me in:
1. I'm making a big loss on my original money , so there's not much more to lose (albeit this is paper loss). I'm a bit jaded (pun intended!).
2. M M Greenwood and A Mehra. MMGs investment has to be for a good reason and he didn't sell out before suspension. My guess is he won't want to make a bid as previous posters suggested he had a property background, so he will be content for the current team to continue. Ashwath Mehra holds about 3%. Again, previous posters have mentioned him; he has a history in minerals (not exclusively, though) and founded GT Gold Corp in Canada (trades as OTC GTGDF in the US), as well as being a director in a couple of other mining companies. He is also still in, which gives me a bit more confidence.
Also, the CFO, Louis Swart holds over 4%, in addition to the Board holding about 13%.
As for gold or precious stones, I would personally choose gold every time. The price is rising and I believe will continue upwards in the medium term, especially with all the various central banks printing yet more money. Is gold a good investment? Well, consider when the US left the gold standard (in the early 1970s?), the price was $15 - currently, it's heading for $1800, an increase of 120 X. I think the Dow Jones has 'only' gone up about 5 X over a similar period.
As for possible share value on re-listing, I think other posters will have better ideas than me. RLD has stated a further raise will happen; if that's by a placing or rights issue rather than debt, it will dilute the current value, so the perceived value of the new assets will need to exceed that to re-list at a premium. Of course, it's not just the price at re-list but also the medium-term prospect of these assets. We may just have to wait for the RTO to complete to get more detail about the assets.
Overall, I'm optimistic - and more recent investors have more reasons to be cheerful! In general, I think this is a great BB. Good discussions and a nice attitude - thanks to all.
GLA
Cheers Gloster :)
What do you reckon timescales till announcements?
Sorry to ask another annoying Q but be good to hear your thoughts.
MG can buy over 30% but it won’t count for voting rights if it’s not done with the BOD’s approval. I did post about this having read the company’s articles but I seem to be invisible on this board lol.
I’ve been in this from the Tanzanite days and lost money. I’ve bought more when prices were cheap and have made money. I bought more shares on the final day of trading as sometimes one has to go with their gut feeling. Luckily I have a lot of investments that make great profits and if I loose it all on this one I’ll be disappointed but I still think the answer is in the name Richland and I think that’s where we are heading. Written after a few bottles of champagne!!
